National Delivery System: Implementing the National Development Plan, City Plans and Global Goals

Welcome to Africa's century – when we turn our vision for the Continent into Reality. For Africa to flourish, our Cities have to work. Cities have to work in order to achieve the Global Goals, to deliver Africa’s Agenda 2063 and to deliver National Development Plans. Cities have to work for inclusive economic growth and human development and to reduce poverty, human suffering, conflict and migration. Cities have to work for the Green Climate Fund to be effective and for the Paris Agreement on Climate Change to succeed. So how will that happen? THE METHOD Cities need an enabling environment, devolved powers, resources and human capacity. And to work well, cities need to implement and deliver ambitious and robust plans. A Delivery System provides digital infrastructure for more cities to achieve more results, faster and for less. This can mean the difference between inclusive growth in cities rather than slums, poverty, insecurity and migration from the city. With a Delivery System, city plans work together within a long term National Development Plan. City results add up to produce real-time reports for ministries, departments and agencies – and Annual Progress Reports to track national development. IMPLEMENTATION uses a powerful online platform and performance management process. Turning PLANS into RESULTS... by addressing 4 key issues. 1.
