PBA @ the Mall of Asia Arena! (1st Official Basketball Game - BMEG vs. Talk N' Text) 7/7/12
This is a view from our seat, PATRON
VIP COURTSIDE. This is a sort of
Vlog/Walkthrough of the arena from a PATRON VIP
SEAT.
Here's my comment about the arena and the experience (This is only my comment and
I believe you have your own too. So whatever is written below, please respect it.)
BAD POINTS :
-First na napansin ko is yung basketball net.
Yes I know may magrereact, sus net lang yan eh. Well kasi Spalding goal yun eh, spalding net din yun.
NBA ring yan eh. Ang kapal kaya ng net ng
PBA and it doesn't fit the NBA ring.
-THE COURT!
OMG. Puro alikabok. May mga tape pa sa out of bounds (blue paint). I tried peeling some pero sobrang tigas na.
And not sure pero parang matigas yung tunog ng ring?
Parang strong metal, parang wala kang maririnig na spring.
Maybe because bago pa.
-Center
Hung, no stats of players kaya di ko nakita sino highest scorer and ila na fouls ng players.
-Restaurant sa VIP level, looks so not a state of the art. Parang basement na parang celda.
I
HOPE THEY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE ESPECIALLY SA RESTAURANT.
Anyway, here are the good points! :)
GOOD POINTS :
-They properly used the
LED RINGS. Kapag may time out, nakalagay dun sa LED rings, timeout tas may effect effect. Kapag 3 points, ganun din. Parang bola pa nga yung animation. Angas.
-Use of lights. Medyo nakakasilaw pag nasa court.
Pero during timeouts, some of the lights nag didim. Ang ganda ng effect. Parang staples center ang effect pag timeout.
Court lang may ilaw.
-Court itself is nice. Nagdala ako ng basketball literal to test the bounce.
I've played na rin kasi in
Araneta Coliseum way back my Jr. PBA years.
MOA. I made some walkarounds also nung wala mga security
Haha. Ganda ng flooring wala na kong masabi.
-For me, maganda yung tunog ng buzzer, well at least sa live, maganda pakinggan. Ganda rin ng shot clock tignan.
Invisible. Iba talaga daktroniks.
-Larger seats yung sa courtside pero no cupholders. Not a big deal na wala yung cupholders, (at least for me) kasi pag nakaupo dun tutok talaga sa aksyon.
-CENTER HUNG
BOARD! Grabe sobrang HD.
Swear as in para kang naunuod ng
1080 HD pixel sa youtube. It reminded me of BC place, stadium sa canada. Sobrang ganda. Also, yung upper and lower LED rings nag babago bago. pag possesion ng bmeg, bmeg logo, pag tnt, tnt logo ang dinidisplay. Pero again, this is the best center hung display in the
Philippines.
Hands down ako sa HD quality niya.
-Maganda rin yung seats ng players.
Black siya na parang same seats with us sa courtside pero as far as nakita ko yung seats na yun, tingin ko made of leather It reminded me of seats in staples center lalo na yung seat ni
Phil Jackson nung coach pa siya, mas malaki. hehe.
OVERALL, would rate this experience 9/10. Sayang lang kasi di masyado puno and medyo magulo lang mga ushers sa patron, tila di nila alam saan mga seats. nagtatanungan pa sila. hehe. then yung snack bars. Not so good. 20 mins kang nakapila 5 lang nasa harap mo.
LOL.
Again, this comment is based from my perspective and my experience.
Please respect it and I don't have any intention to discredit
MOA Arena. I am just receiving so many questions regarding it on my previous videos so I decided to write it down here after finally getting the chance to watch the PBA @ MOA Arena live. :)
Thank you!
