Greetings Youtube gun enthusiasts. In this video I'm going to show you my S&W; 629-4 Classic .44 magnum revolver, then shoot a couple types of .44 magnum ammo. This is a pre-lock, pin on hammer revolver. It has a full under lug barrel which was S&W;'s attempt to copy (I think) Colt's popular Python and Anaconda with an aesthetically pleasing extension of the ejector shroud. It has no real function other than put some extra weight under the barrel which isn't necessarily a bad thing on a magnum revolver. The gun is made of stainless steel (cylinder and frame) and has black rubber Hogue grips which really soak up the recoil. This revolver shoots dead on, it's extremely accurate and the trigger is really good. I am far from extracting it's accuracy potential but when I do squeeze the trigger right I get can get hits exactly where I'm aiming. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the vid and thanks for watching! After years of gawking over this revolver at gun shops, I FINALLY got one. Though I originally wanted one in .454 Casul im glad I got .44 mag. I had no idea at the time but .44 mag is pretty expensive ammo, no wonder everyone reloads it. Im not a ruger fan really, but this wheel gun is just beautiful to me.

We lined up 21 identical computer hard drives and shot them with a .44 Mag. How many will the bullet go through? Perhaps we were just a LITTLE optimistic about the capabilities of the Rossi .44 Mag rifle, but it was fun finding out! Hard drives are pretty tough. These have a thick stainless steel cover, next you have a soft aluminum platter(s) then, you have some brittle and thick cast aluminum making up the back of the housing.
