LOS ANGELES (AP) If not for an infamous summertime change of heart, DeAndre Jordan would have been wearing Mavericks blue at Staples Center on Thursday night instead of Clippers white.
Jordan is grateful he stayed true to his original colors, and his teammates helped him secure a big win over his spurned suitors.
Blake Griffin had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Jamal Crawford added 15 points in the Clippers' 104-88 victory over Dallas on Thursday night in Los Angeles' home opener.
Jordan had six points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots in his first game against the Mavericks since his summer misadventures in Dallas. Jordan tentatively agreed to join the Mavs as a free agent before the Clippers' top brass and players descended on his Houston home and persuaded him to return to Los Angeles, infuriating owner Mark Cuban and Dallas fans.
"It's definitely an emotional game," said Jordan, who declined to address the Dallas debacle directly. "The emotions were high obviously because it was our home opener. We wanted to give the fans what they missed."
The Mavs know what they missed with Jordan. From the opening minutes, it was clear that the clubs' offseason conflict over Jordan only amped up the feelings in this lively Western Conference rivalry.
Cuban disparaged the Clippers in pregame remarks, saying that "you can change the owner, you can change the players, but the Clippers are still the franchise that they've been for the last 30 years."
Trash talk was abundant on the court and from both benches. The teams combined for four technical fouls and a series of hard personal fouls, including a heavy foul from Nowitzki that left Jordan flexing and yelling instead of fighting.
"We didn't look at it that way, but obviously there's got to be something there from all the (offseason) stuff," Clippers coach Doc Rivers said.
The Mavs engaged in Hack-a-DJ tactics late in the first half, sending the inept Jordan to the free-throw line eight times.
Austin Rivers scored 14 points for the Clippers, who pulled away easily in the second half with a strong bench performance.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 16 points for the Mavericks, who played without injured starting guards Deron Williams and Wesley Matthews.
"The (lack of) manpower made it tougher," Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. "We really would have had to play a perfect game. I thought we did a lot of things well, but in the end, from a shooting standpoint, we couldn't hit a bull in the (rear) with a bass fiddle."
Nowitzki is still surprised by the decision made by Jordan, who abruptly stopped texting with the German star during the process.
"I think we were disappointed, but we still have to move on as a franchise, and that's what we did," Nowitzki said. "That happens in free agency sometimes."
HACK-A-JOSH
While slipping behind in the third quarter, the Mavs also resorted to intentional fouls against Clippers newcomer Josh Smith, who hasn't made 54 percent of his free throws in any of the past four seasons.
WAY BACK
The Mavericks had to play without both halves of their projected starting backcourt, but they're hoping the absences aren't long. Williams has a sprained left knee that shows no structural damage, while Matthews is returning to action slowly after surgery on his heel.

Consider eating with the seasons.
By Tuning Into Your Natural Instincts
Strawberries are around in the groceries stores all year. But are we really meant to eat and enjoy them all year?
Think about the weather where you live. Would it be conducive to strawberry production?
Perhaps there is a natural health reason those strawberries are ripe for consumption when it is warm and a fruit like pears are abundant when it is cooler?
On the vegetable side, lettuce seems spring and summer like; sweet potatoes and acorn squash for the fall and winter seasons.
Something to consider.
My naturopathic doctor said something that made sense about our diets:
“If we were eating from the natural world the way deer would, we might find berries one day, leaves the next, and acorns another time.”
Maybe this is more of the way we were designed to eat.
One way to find out is to tune into your instincts for what foods your body is craving by visiting the grocery store when you are hungry. Stand in the produce section and see which fruit or vegetable catches your eye.
Another way is to use hypnosis to get to that still and quiet place within that knows just what foods you need—it is our natural instinct and we can learn how to be more tuned in.
Hypnosis helps you tune into your natural instincts to eat the right foods, when and how much, call us at 972-974-2094.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans were so good in the first half that they were never threatened even after he left with an injury.
Davis scored 17 points before leaving at halftime with a bruised right hip, and the Pelicans beat the Dallas Mavericks 120-105 on Tuesday night for their first victory of the season.
Davis helped the Pelicans (1-6) build an 18-point halftime lead that never dipped below 14 points even after he departed for what team officials said were precautionary reasons.
Coach Alvin Gentry said Davis had a posterior or medial thigh injury, but wasn't sure the extent or the specifics, saying only that the forward was kneed in the second quarter and was having more tests done before the Pelicans flew to Atlanta. Initial X-rays at the arena were negative.
All Gentry knows is that for the seventh game this season, New Orleans had to find a way to finish without a full roster.
"Even with Anthony playing, we've got some really key guys sitting out," Gentry said. "You can do one of two things: You can just move on and try to play and do the best you can, or you can sit around and mope and have a pity party. We don't have time for a pity party."
Ryan Anderson finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds, and Ish Smith recorded his first career double-double, ending the game with 17 points and 12 assists. Eric Gordon, meanwhile, jump-started it all with New Orleans' first five points on his way to 17 for the game.
"We've got a long year," Anderson said. "This is a small stretch of games. Obviously now that we have a win, we want to kind of move on past (it) and have a winning mentality now. We know what we need to do."
New Orleans broke out to a 12-0 start, setting the tone for the rest of the game.
"They were making shots and we weren't," Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. "Their level of force was higher without question. A lot of this you have to credit them. They had a bunch of guys step up and play big."
Dirk Nowitzki scored 18 points for Dallas, which trailed 37-36 after Zaza Pachulia's basket before the Pelicans went on an 18-0 run that began with three straight baskets by Davis.
New Orleans shot 50 percent for the game, including 14 of 33 from 3-point range, and outrebounded Dallas 48-44. It was just the second time this season the Pelicans have finished with more rebounds than their opponent.
Dallas, meanwhile, was just 5 for 20 beyond the arc.

LYRICS
I wish I found some better sounds no one’s ever heard,
I wish I had a better voice that sang some better words,
I wish I found some chords in an order that is new,
I wish I didn't have to rhyme every time I sang,
I was told when I get older all my fears would shrink,
But now I’m insecure and I care what people think.
My name’s ‘Blurryface’ and I care what you think
Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol’ days,
When our momma sang us to sleep but now we’re stressed out.
Sometimes a certain smell will take me back to when I was young,
How come I’m never able to identify where it’s coming from,
I’d make a candle out of it if I ever found it,
Try to sell it, never sell out of it, I’d probably only sell one,
It’d be to my brother, ‘cause we have the same nose,
Same clothes homegrown a stone’s throw from a creek we used to roam,
But it would remind us of when nothing really mattered,
Out of student loans and treehouse homes we all would take the latter.
My name’s ‘Blurryface’ and I care what you think
Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol’ days,
When our momma sang us to sleep but now we’re stressed out.
We used to play pretend, give each other different names,
We would build a rocket ship and then we’d fly it far away,
Used to dream of outer space but now they’re laughing at our face,
Saying, “wake up, you need to make money."
Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol’ days,
When our momma sang us to sleep but now we’re stressed out.

Dallas is the ninth most populous city in the United States and the third most populous city in the state of Texas. Dallas makes up one-fifth of the much larger urbanized area known as the Dallas--Fort Worth Metroplex, in which one quarter of all Texans live.
The most important places to visit in Dallas are: Southfork Ranch (it is known worldwide as the filming location for the "Dallas" series. Take a tour of America's most famous ranch), Botanical Garden (discover this wonderful garden in Dallas. The best time to visit is during Spring when thousands of flowers are blooming), Fair Park (home to museums and gardens, it is most famous for the amazing State Fair in the fall), Reunion Tower (one of the most famous landmarks of Dallas. Visitors can even dine at a restaurant at the top of the tower), Dealey Plaza (the site of John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963. It is a national historic landmark and you can see the spot where the fatal shot hit) and many more.
If you want to save time and money, the most important Dallas travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. Dallas - Texas - United States Travel guide http://goo.gl/tLsKrZ
Dallas is a young city with all the vigour of youth. Effigies of modern architecture rise like glass trees out of the downtown area. In 1841, it was simply a plan of 20 streets on the 256 hectares (640 acres) of south central America, claimed by a Tennessee lawyer, John Neely Bryan. Today, it is the ninth largest city in the USA, and including its western neighbour of Fort Worth, it is the nation's fastest growing metropolitan area.
Thriving at the bottom edge of America's Great Plains, Dallas has embraced dreamers and entrepreneurs for the better part of two centuries. Big D, as it's affectionately called, merges Southern hospitality with modern sophistication. Though the landscape looks different than at its humble beginning, the city still welcomes enterprising people who gather to share their grand ideas and stake claims on new frontiers.
Dallas will always be remembered for one, if not two, shootings. The first and most shocking occurred on 22 November 1963, when President J F Kennedy was assassinated in downtown Dallas. The second shooting may only have been fictional but, when J R Ewing was shot by an unknown killer in the TV series Dallas in the early 1980s, fans across the world were devastated. Even today, the legend of J R remains strong, as does the legacy of President Kennedy.
Today the city is a mecca for the banking, electronics and oil industries, as well as for dining, shopping, arts and entertainment. Large scale developments of urban lofts, apartments, condominiums, retail and both indoor and outdoor recreational facilities are springing up across the city. An impressive new Dallas Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2009 to vie with New York's Lincoln Center. New facilities and relevant attractions in and around this cultural centre continue to grow.
Among things you probably didn't know about Dallas: The city has the largest urban arts district in the United States spanning 19 blocks. What's more, the Dallas Arts District has more buildings designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects in one contiguous location than anywhere else in the world. And Dallas' Fair Park, just a short distance east of the arts district and a district with numerous museums and venues, features the nation's largest collection of 1930s Art Deco, exposition-style architecture.
Dallas offers true Southern hospitality, be it in a humble hideaway cocktail bar or in the Mansion on Turtle Creek, repeatedly and regularly ranked as one of the world's top hotels. And with a 10th of its workforce in the hospitality industry, Dallas is always happy to have y'all come on in and stick around awhile.
Those wishing to explore further afield should take the busy freeway 30 miles to the west to the easy-going, cattle-driving, twin city of Fort Worth, home to a national historic district and a surprising stash of world-class art museums.
The similarities between the two include a stunning rate of business and population growth, in spite of a sluggish recent economy; a shared passion for the pro sports teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, whose new billion-dollar stadium is now in Tarrant County instead of Dallas; and a great pride in being Texan.

Welcome to Houston, Texas, one of the largest cities in the United States.
Once an outpost in the Old West, Houston is now a down-to-earth metropolis, boasting a tremendous shipping and energy industry, as well as plenty of culture.
Kick off your Houston tour at Discovery Green, a 12-acre park tucked beneath the city’s skyscrapers. You’ll find public art and plenty of space to picnic or go for walks. Houstoners take pride in their various parks, museums, and open spaces, like the Houston Arboretum, where you can go birdwatching, learn about green living, and hike the trails to explore local wildlife.
Speaking of exploring, your Houston sightseeing should include a trip to the USS Texas., This battleship served in two World Wars and now stands guard as a museum on the Buffalo Bayou. Head over to the Gulf for a walk on the beach while you watch the sunset, then get ready to gear up for the evening with some delicious TexMex shared with the locals. After you lose yourself in a few rounds of line dancing to burn off all those fajitas, you’ll be wondering why you didn’t come to Houston earlier.

If you're tired of the same old fast food and want something different, then head over to Latin Deli. It is one of the hidden gems in Dallas!
In a super casual, affordable, and friendly atmosphere, they serve the best sandwiches and pastries. The ambience is a strip mall, café-like setting with garish lime-green paint on the walls and a walk-up counter. This isn't a place you would go for first date or celebratory dinner. But definitely a must if you just want a delicious Latin sandwich!
Some of their must-haves include their Loma Saltado, Tres Leches Cupcake, Carrot Cake, Choco Flan, Red Velvet Cup Cake, Sweet Corn Muffins. As beautiful and delicious as their sandwiches are, they are still true to a simple plate of Chilaquiles.
Latin Deli hits three essential targets: Good, Fast and Cheap. It is a great place for brunch on the weekend. It's like waking up for breakfast at your mom's house. All-around, a delicious, affordable meal!
If you are in Dallas, Texas (USA) - do stop by and check them out! Meanwhile watch Pia and Anita's grub escapade as they experience the simple motto of Latin Deli - Eat, Laugh, Live!

For many people, the very name of Dallas is synonymous with retail therapy. The city's motto, after all, is 'if it can't be found in Dallas, it can't be found anywhere'. This is where Neiman Marcus, 1618 Main Street, began its fashion business in 1907, as an 'exclusive woman's ready-to-wear store'. Today, all manner of big names have gravitated around it, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co and Christian Dior. The huge department store chain JC Penney also originated in Dallas.
Key areas:
The majority of fine shopping in Dallas is found just north of downtown in the Uptown district and in Highland Park and University Park. Interesting, more bohemian shops tend to be found in Deep Ellum, immediately east of downtown, and on Lower Greenville, which reaches just northeast of downtown. Great clusters of shopping areas are also found in suburban Dallas areas, all north of I-635, such as Plano, Frisco and McKinney.
Markets:
There is a large Farmer's Market, on the western end of Downtown, at South Harwood Street and Marilla Street.
Shopping centres:
The most upmarket is Highland Park Village, a National Historic landmark and one of the first American shopping centers, opened in 1931. Look here for such shops as Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Jermes, Harry Winston and dozens of other fashion names, as well as homegrown retailers like Calame Jewelers and Cooter's Village Camera.
Galleria Dallas, 13350 Dallas Parkway, is a revered name in Texas shopping. Stores here include BCBG, Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop and Old Navy, Tiffany & Co., American Girl, Nordstrom, Sak's Fifth Avenue and Macy's. There's an ice-skating ring with spectacular shows during the winter holidays, plus cinemas and restaurants.
NorthPark Center, 8687 N. Central Expressway, is compared with Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive, but all-enclosed. Finer shopping abounds, with Neiman Marcus and boutiques from top-rate designers like CH Carolina Herrera, Herve Leger, Versace, and Salvatore Ferragamo, to name a few.
Opening hours:
Almost all retail stores are open daily, 1000-2100.
Souvenirs:
The best places to buy Texas souvenirs, such as western hats and boots and jewellery, are western-wear stores. These include Cowboy Cool, 3699 McKinney Avenue, a favorite boutique in the West Village, in the Uptown district; and Pink's Western Wear, 2475 N. Stemmons Freewaym, in the Medical District, northwest of downtown.
Tax information:
Sales tax is 8.25%.

Dallas Hotels
Dallas' hotel landscape matches that of its shopping and dining attractions -- choices are numerous in every category, from luxurious and expensive to humble and inexpensive. Keep in mind, however, that the majority of finer choices tend to be in downtown and the surrounding areas, whereas the less costly places may not be as close to the most popular attractions and restaurants. You pay, of course, for convenience.
The Dallas hotels below are grouped into three pricing categories:
Luxury (over US $250)
Moderate (US $130 to $250)
Cheap (up to US$130)
These Dallas hotel prices are the starting prices for a standard double room and include taxes unless otherwise specified. Breakfast may be included; investigate at time of booking.
W Dallas - Victory Hotel
Within walking distance from the Dallas Arts District, the trendy W Hotel remains edgy and relevant, thanks to a recent, multi-million-dollar renovation. Overlooking the sports venue of Victory Plaza and breathtaking night views of downtown Dallas, the hotel offers 252 oversized rooms and suites in categories named Wonderful, Cool Corner, Spectacular, Fabulous, Mega, Fantastic, Marvelous, Wow and Extreme Wow. Inside the W's Bliss spa, the Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow body treatment is transcendental. Dinner in the gastropub called Cook Hall is casual yet very special.
Hotel ZaZa
This mind-boggling lodging in Uptown seems drawn from a Hollywood movie set. Lavish furnishings, Frette linens, cutting-edge technology, rainforest showers in luxurious bathrooms and high ceilings make the large 146 guest rooms and suites feel like private apartments within the South-of-France-style building. Meeting spaces accommodate up to 300. The on-site Dragonfly restaurant has won numerous awards for inspired contemporary cuisine and throngs of fans for its chic bar scene.
The Joule, Dallas
Downtown's most elegant boutique hotel sits within a lavishly renovated 1920s neo-Gothic building. An added 10-storey tower and contemporary lobby showcase stunning art and design structures highlighting the oil and gas theme appropriate to the 'Big D' (Dallas). The Joule's cantilevered pool extends 5ft off the edge of the building, and is even open free in the summer to non-guests from 0500 to noon. Rooms and suites have sleek, inventive décor, and the Fitness Center is state-of-the-art. Don't miss the hotel's restaurant and wine room, run by celebrity chef Charlie Palmer.

If you are up for exploring Dallas, here are a few tips. Like most of Texas, Dallas is mostly a driver's city, but there are a few more options in certain districts. If you're visiting sites in the West end, you can take the trolley and learn about the city from your tour guide. You can also use the local bus system or the light rail called DART. Both run through Downtown and surrounding districts. If you do have access to a car, you'd be best off driving to an area and walking to save time. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen. With all the hot spots in Dallas, be sure to get reservations or arrive early as some places book up or sell out.

Public transport:
Public transport buses and trains are operated by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) authority. The urban light railway and the commuter line, which are separate lines in the south and north, combine to form a single route in the downtown area. The system operates 0400-2400.
Bus tickets must be purchased with exact change in cash. Alternatively, prepaid tickets and day passes can be purchased from vending machines at the station. Day passes may be purchased in advance.
DART has joined forces with the volunteer-run McKinney Avenue Transit Authority to operate the historic M-Line Streetcar, providing free, daily transit service in downtown and to connect downtown with the uptown neighbourhood. Schedules and detailed route information are available.
Taxis:
Taxis operate 24 hours. Recommended are Checker Cab and Yellow Cab, both at the same depot, and Terminal Cab. A tip of 10% is expected.
Driving:
Driving in downtown Dallas at the weekends is feasible for the visitor, since the streets are relatively quiet. Morning and evening rush hour in the week is just the opposite and very frustrating.
Downtown Dallas is essentially on a north-south grid layout, although north of Pacific Avenue, the grid is skewed slightly and angled more on a northwest-southeast axis.
The most frequently used toll road in Dallas among visitors is the North Tollway, which goes from Downtown up into Collin County. Toll stations no longer exist; you will be invoiced for tolls you are owed (these will be charged to you by your car rental company).
There are meters and parking lots all over Downtown, which can be expensive, except at weekends. Visitors should read meters carefully as timings will be enforced.
Bicycle hire:
Bikes are available for hire from Richardson Bike Mart's White Rock Lake location, 9040 Garland Road Riding around the lake is wonderful in good weather.

Dealey Plaza and the Sixth Floor Museum
The Texas School Book Depository was a rather ordinary building in downtown Dallas until the infamous assassination of US President John F Kennedy on 22 November 1963 as he travelled in an open limousine through Dallas on a pre-election visit.
Lee Harvey Oswald, the 24-year-old local who was accused of the crime, had a filing job at the depository. The deadly shot was fired from the sixth floor of the building, which is now the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza documenting both the assassination itself and the life and times of JFK. This includes a minute-by-minute account of the action, the investigations and the various assassination theories that followed. The Plaza itself is simply an outdoor grassy area on the north side of Elm Street, where curiosity seekers gather at all hours of day and night.
Opening Times: Tue-Sun 1000-1800, Mon 1200-1800.
Admission Fees: Yes

There is a complete children's museum within, which includes an outdoor play area. Extraordinary elements include a vast, glassed-in lobby and adjacent rooftop deck; a 298-seat theater with numerous projection capabilities; and a lovely café. The building itself is jaw-dropping, thanks to the work by 2005 Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Thom Mayne of the firm Morphosis. Dallas - Texas - United States Travel guide http://goo.gl/tLsKrZ
The irresistible appeal of Dallas' dining is its blend of cuisine influenced by the American South and Mexico, as well as its cattle and ranching heritage. Dallas is noted for inventing Tex-Mex plate and the world's first frozen margarita in 1971. Food became more sophisticated over time, with southwestern cuisine emerging in the 1980s, by pairing Latin and Native American cuisine with classic culinary techniques.
The restaurants below have been grouped into three different price categories:
Expensive (over US$50)
Moderate (US$30 to US$50)
Cheap (up to US$30)
These prices are for dinner for two people, excluding tax, alcohol or tips. In general, there is a sales tax of 8.25% added to restaurant bills. However, in reality, this tax varies and some restaurants only add the tax to either food or drink. Tipping of between 15 and 20% is expected and in some restaurants this may be added to the bill.
Abacus
Price: Expensive
Rating: 4
Cuisine: Asian-influenced American cuisine
The deft touch of executive chef Kent Rathbun and his stunning wine list has earned glorious praise from the national press, thanks to such pleasures as lager-braised veal breast with English pea pierogi; grilled duck with leg confit and black pepper-ricotta cavatelli; and fascinating sushi rolls, such as the Picasso, combining spicy tuna, roasted pineapple, avocado and salmon. For an extra treat, guests should try the chef's selection of five or eight small courses, with wine pairings, and luxuriate in the palate pampering and the soothing, sumptuous interiors.
Address: 4511 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, Texas, United States
Stephan Pyles
Price: Expensive
Rating: 5
Cuisine: Contemporary American & Southwestern
Widely known as one of the architects of Southwestern cuisine, Pyles, the much-loved native of West Texas and noted world traveller, has earned innumerable accolades from international publications for his namesake restaurant. His 'New Millennium Southwestern cuisine' features as a tasting of exotic ceviches (try ahi tuna with watermelon and pepitas), duck confit empanadas, wood-fired whole fish, and coriander-cured rack of lamb. Special drinks include Pisco Sour and smoky-apple Martini. A lovely update of a 1960s office building provides a warm, inviting setting in which to feast. Bring someone special with you.
Address: 1807 Ross Avenue, Dallas, Texas, United States
Fearing's
Price: Expensive
Rating: 5
Cuisine: American with Southern/Southwestern influences
After making the Mansion on Turtle Creek the leading dining destination in Texas for two decades, star chef Dean Fearing opened a place of his own at the prestigious Ritz-Carlton. In each of seven distinct settings under one roof, the popular southerner does much to please his ever-ardent fans, with maple-black peppercorn buffalo tenderloin, pecan-crusted halibut, crab tacos and -- at brunch -- stunningly good fried chicken. Drinks in his Rattlesnake Bar include El Diablo, a mixture of Patron Silver Tequila, blackcurrant liqueur, fresh lime juice and ginger ale.
Address: 2121 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, Texas, United States
Fireside Pies
Price: Moderate
Rating: 3
Cuisine: Italian
Certainly not the usual pizza joint, this is where you'll find spectacular pizzas. Inside a handsome, casual stone-and-wood building, you'll find a hip crowd hanging out over starters, wine and pies. Pizzas are baked in a wood-burning oven, topped with a fire-roasted tomato sauce, liberally garnished with four kinds of cheese, then decorated with such add-ons as meatballs, proscuitto, balsamic-roasted chicken, truffle oil or rocket salad. When in doubt, just order the 13th Pie, an ever-changing delight. Weather permitting, patio seating is divine.
Address: 2820 North Henderson Avenue, Dallas, Texas, United States
Primo's Bar & Grille
Price: Moderate
Rating: 3
Cuisine: Mexican
A long-time hangout in Uptown, this wonderful spot only gets better with age. The Sunday brunch is hugely satisfying, but any day of the week is perfect for top-rate margaritas and a plate of the delicious tacos camperos filled with beef fajita meat. Pile on jalapeno, cilantro , a slice of avocado and a spoonful of the tomato salsa on the table. It's a good spot to take a break from shopping and gallery-browsing; relax on the patio or in one of the rooms inside the hundred-year-old building with creaky wooden floors.

Road Trip from Dallas, TX to Abilene, TX I-20 West
This is a road trip video from Dallas, TX to Abilene, TX on I-20 West. I am sorry that the quality is bad for most of the time because of how we were directly facing the sun on the way back. However, when you arrive into Abilene, you can see the skyline to the left. We got to Abilene in a little under 3 hours. I did not film the rest of the way to Midland, TX because I ran out of battery.

Donald Trump Speaks at Dallas Rally. TRUMP ROCKS 20,000 PACKED DALLAS ARENA – Gets Texas Crowd to BOOO Media. Trump pledges to cut taxes at Dallas rally. Trump Jokes About Megyn Kelly ‘Blood’ Comments in Dallas Speech. Donald Trump was barely five minutes into his speech in front of 20,000 curious Texans at the American Airlines Center in Texas Monday night when he started joking about all the trouble he got in last month when he said of Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her… wherever.”
“We’re going to have so many victories,” Trump told the crowd, “that at some point they are just going to be coming out of your ears!”
“I have to be careful what I say about coming out of somebody’s ears,” the GOP frontrunner said to laughter from the crowd. “I have to be careful! Nose, ears, eyes, those are the only places I’m talking about. The only.”
“But we’re going to have so many victories and they are going to be great victories,” Trump continued, without mentioning specifics. “And we’re going to have them all the time because we have an amazing country.”
Was this Trump’s way of acknowledging that yes, he was suggesting that Kelly had her period during the first GOP debate?
DALLAS – Pledging to reduce taxes if elected president, Republican front-runner Donald Trump walked on stage at the American Airlines Center Monday evening for a massive political rally.
Wearing a blue suit and a red striped tie (but without his trademark "Make America Great Again" baseball cap), Trump paused for photos before taking the podium at 6:38 p.m.
"Wow! Wow! Amazing, amazing," he said. "Do you notice what's missing tonight? TelePrompTers. We don't want TelePrompTers."
Trump said Dallas Cowboys owner was a "great guy." He also referenced Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who offered the use of the AAC for Trump's rally.
The lower level of the arena was packed, but there were empty seats in the upper levels, even though Ticketmaster distributed some 20,000 free tickets to the event.
"So the polls came out, and we are killing it... we are killing it," the candidate boasted. "I'm leading with the evangelicals big league."
He then invited First Baptist Church Pastor Robert Jeffress to the podium to thank him for his support.
"We just want someone that will speak their mind and is not afraid of the establishment and politically correct answers; we're very excited about what he does," Rhodes said. "I think he speaks for a lot of us. We're very frustrated with the country right now and the things going on."

All 20,000 free tickets for the event were snatched up days before. Tickets were being offered on sites like Craigslist and eBay for as much as $100 each.

We Were Lied To About 9/11 - Episode 24 - Ray McGovern

Ray McGovern leads the “Speaking Truth to Power” section of Tell the Word, an expression of the ecumenical Church of the Saviour in inner-city Washington. A former co-director of the Servant Leadership School (1998-2004), he has been teaching there for 15 years.
Ray came from his native New York to Washington in the early Sixties as an Army infantry/intelligence officer and then served as a CIA analyst from the administration of John F. Kennedy to that of George H. W. Bush. Ray’s duties included chairing National Intelligence Estimates and preparing the President’s Daily Brief, which he briefed one-on-one to President Ronald Reagan’s most senior national security advisers from 1981 to 1985.
In January 2003, Ray helped create Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) to expose the way intelligence was being falsified to “justify” war on Iraq. On the afternoon of the day (Feb. 5, 2003) Secretary of State Colin Powell misled the UN Security Council on Iraq, VIPS sent a blunt memorandum to President George W. Bush, in which VIPS gave Powell a C minus for content. They ended the memo with this:
“No one has a corner on the truth; nor do we harbor illusions that our analysis is irrefutable or undeniable [as Powell had claimed]. But after watching Secretary Powell today, we are convinced that you would be well served if you widened the discussion beyond … the circle of those advisers clearly bent on a war for which we see no compelling reason and from which we believe the unintended consequences are likely to be catastrophic.”
Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller, after a five-year study by his committee, described the intelligence used to “justify” war on Iraq as “unsubstantiated, contradicted, or even non-existent.” In other words, it was not mistaken; it was fraudulent.
As an act of conscience, on March 2, 2006 Ray returned the Intelligence Commendation Medallion given him at retirement for “especially meritorious service,” explaining, “I do not want to be associated, however remotely, with an agency engaged in torture.” He returned it to Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R, Michigan), then-Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
Hoekstra added to the Intelligence Authorization Act for FY’07 (HR5020) a provision enabling the government to strip intelligence veterans of their government pensions. HR5020 passed the full House, but Congress opted instead for a continuing resolution. Thus, Ray was spared from having to go back to driving part-time for Red Top Cab.
On the early afternoon of May 4, 2006, in Atlanta, Ray confronted Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld on live TV with pointed questions like: "Why did you lie to get us into a war that was not necessary and that has caused these kinds of casualties?"
The impromptu, four-minute mini-debate that followed is still receiving hits on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1FTmuhynaw. Accused by TV pundits that evening of "following the Secretary of Defense all the way down to Atlanta," Ray explained that he had gotten to Atlanta first - to receive, that same evening, the ACLU's National Civil Liberties Award (won the previous year by Coretta Scott King).
Ray’s opinion pieces have appeared in many leading newspapers here and abroad. His Web site writings are usually posted first on consortiumnews.com as well as here on raymcgovern.com, and they are usually then cross-posted widely on other Web sites.
Ray still serves on the Steering Group of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity; VIPS’ 26 corporate issuances are posted on warisacrime.org/vips.
He has debated twice at the Oxford Forum, most recently in Jan. 2013, when he chose to take a lighter tone in trying to explain why it is still possible to dream the American dream. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w79XPIlwdvY
Ray has appeared on The Newshour, C-Span’s Washington Journal, CNN, Aljazeera, RT, PressTV and numerous other TV & radio programs and documentaries. (His favorite gig was debating former CIA Director James Wollsey on Charlie Rose on Aug. 20, 2004.) Ray has also addressed a wide variety of audiences in the U.S. and abroad.
He studied theology and philosophy (as well as his major, Russian) at Fordham University, from which he holds two degrees. He also holds a Certificate in Theological Studies from Georgetown University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
A Catholic, Ray has been worshipping for over a decade with the ecumenical Church of the Saviour. He has been invited to lecture at various interfaith and ecumenical events around the U.S., and has preached at a number of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues.
