WASHINGTON — President Andrew Jackson has been the face of the American $20 bill since 1928, but his days on the front of the note are officially numbered, paving the way for courageous black civil rights activist Harriet Tubman.
Tubman, who helped free hundreds of black slaves from the South via the underground railroad in the mid-19th century, will be the new face of the $20 bill sometime before 2030. Designs are projected to be released by 2020, but President Jackson won't be completely removed from the note. The 7th President of the United States will continue to be represented on the back of the bill, though in a reduced image.
The $20 bill will be a major change for the appearance of U.S. currency, but not the only one. On the back of the $5 bill, the Lincoln Memorial will be accompanied by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, and famed singer Marian Anderson in some capacity.
Founding Father Alexander Hamilton's place on the front of the $10 bill is secure, where it was previously in question. The recent surge in his popularity as a result of the grammy award-winning Broadway musical based on his life has been speculated as the reasoning for him being a continued fixture on currency. However, the back of the bill will now incorporate five female suffrage leaders from the 1913 parade on Washington to fight for women's right to vote – Sojourner Truth, Lucretia Mott, Susan B. Anthony, Alice Paul and Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
These planned substitutions and alterations to American currency will no doubt be celebrated by minority groups as long overdue steps toward accurate representation of America's rich history as the redesigns are fully-adopted into circulation over the next 15 years.

The President of the United States of America (acronym: POTUS) is the head of state and head of government of the United States. The president leads the executive branch of the federal government and is the commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces.

The president is further empowered to grant federal pardons and reprieves, and to convene and adjourn either or both houses of Congress under extraordinary circumstances. Since the founding of the United States, the power of the president and the federal government have grown substantially and each modern president, despite possessing no formal legislative powers beyond signing or vetoing congressionally passed bills, is largely responsible for dictating the legislative agenda of his party and the foreign and domestic policy of the United States. The president is frequently described as the most powerful person in the world.

Barack Hussein Obama II (
i/bəˈrɑːk huːˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/; born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States. He is the first African American to hold the office. In January 2005, Obama was sworn in as a U.S. Senator in the state of Illinois. He would hold this office until November 2008, when he resigned following his victory in the 2008 presidential election.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004.
Following an unsuccessful bid against the Democratic incumbent for a seat in the United States House of Representatives in 2000, Obama ran for the United States Senate in 2004. Several events brought him to national attention during the campaign, including his victory in the March 2004 Illinois Democratic primary for the Senate election and his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004. He won election to the U.S. Senate in Illinois in November 2004. His presidential campaign began in February 2007, and after a close campaign in the 2008 Democratic Party presidential primaries against Hillary Rodham Clinton, he won his party's nomination. In the 2008 presidential election, he defeated Republican nominee John McCain, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Nine months later, Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate. In April 2011, he announced that he would be running for re-election in 2012.

Andrew Jackson (March 15, 1767 – June 8, 1845) was the seventh President of the United States (1829–1837). Based in frontier Tennessee, Jackson was a politician and army general who defeated the Creek Indians at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend (1814), and the British at the Battle of New Orleans (1815). A polarizing figure who dominated the Second Party System in the 1820s and 1830s, as president he destroyed the national bank and relocated most Indian tribes from the Southeast to west of the Mississippi River. His enthusiastic followers created the modern Democratic Party. The 1830–1850 period later became known as the era of Jacksonian democracy.
Jackson was nicknamed "Old Hickory" because of his toughness and aggressive personality; he fought in duels, some fatal to his opponents. He was a rich slaveholder, who appealed to the common men of the United States, and fought politically against what he denounced as a closed, undemocratic aristocracy. He expanded the spoils system during his presidency to strengthen his political base.

WASHINGTON — President Andrew Jackson has been the face of the American $20 bill since 1928, but his days on the front of the note are officially numbered, paving the way for courageous black civil rights activist Harriet Tubman.
Tubman, who helped free hundreds of black slaves from the South via the underground railroad in the mid-19th century, will be the new face of the $20 bill sometime before 2030. Designs are projected to be released by 2020, but President Jackson won't be completely removed from the note. The 7th President of the United States will continue to be represented on the back of the bill, though in a reduced image.
The $20 bill will be a major change for the appearance of U.S. currency, but not the only one. On the back of the $5 bill, the Lincoln Memorial will be accompanied by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, and famed singer Marian Anderson in some capacity.

US President Barack Obama arrives at the Ages Hangar, Balagbag Ramp in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at 1:25PM on board Air Force One for a two-day state visit in the country.
President Obama together with his delegation was welcomed by Vice-President Jejomar Binay, US Ambassador Philip Goldberg, Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario, Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas, Philippine Ambassador to US Jose L. Cuisia Jr. and Philippine Air Force Military Commanding General Maj. Gen. Jeffrey F. Delgado.
The US President is expected proceed to Malacañang to meet President Benigno S. Aquino III for bilateral talks to forge new agreements that will strengthen the country's partnership to the US being one of its closest allies in Asia. President Aquino will also host a State Dinner at the Palace in honor of President Obama, showcasing the country's top Filipino cuisine, traditional dances and performance arts.
Early on, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has issued a notice-to-airmen (Notam) advising aircraft to expect delays with the closing of NAIA terminals from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Monday and Tuesday in preparation for the President Obama's arrival and departure time. Following the Notam, the CAAP has also issued a no-fly zone in Malacañang complex all throughout the visit of the US President as part of the security protocol for a visiting head of state.
US President Barack Obama's visit to the country is the first and will be the last leg to complete his four-nation Asia Pacific Tour where he visited South Korea, Japan and Malaysia.

US President Obama arrives in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh for a summit meeting with King Salman and his fellow Gulf Arab leaders.
Obama meets with King Salman after being snubbed at the airport in Riyadh amid mounting pressure to declassify papers that 'show Saudi Arabian connection to 9/11'.
Barack Obama has met with King Salman of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday amid increasing clamor for 28 pages of a congressional report into 9/11 to be declassified, which is believed to show a Saudi connection to the hijackings.
The visit to Riyadh comes against the backdrop of increasingly strained relations with the Saudis, who remain deeply opposed to President Obama's outreach to Iran and skeptical of his approach to Syria.
Stepping off the tarmac at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Obama was greeted on a red carpet by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the governor of Riyadh, as opposed to the king himself.
Saudi state television did not immediately air Obama's arrival, which was unusual since right before Air Force One landed, State TV showed King Salman greeting other senior officials from Gulf nations arriving for the Gulf Cooperation Council summit.
Mustafa Alani, a security analyst at the Gulf Research Center, said the decision to send a lower ranking official to greet Mr Obama was intended to send a clear message that they have little faith in him.
'He will find a leadership that's not ready to believe him,' he said. 'The Saudis had disagreements with previous presidents. Here you have deep distrust that the president won't deliver anything.'

Obama's first stop in Saudi Arabia was a one-on-one meeting with King Salman at Riyadh's Erga Palace on Wednesday before the six-nation GCC summit opens on Thursday.
Under crystal chandeliers, Obama was greeted in a grand foyer at Erga Palace where they walked slowly to a reception room.
'The American people send their greetings and we are very grateful for your hospitality, not just for this meeting but for hosting the GCC-U.S. summit that's taking place tomorrow,' Obama said, referring to the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council summit.
King Salman offered similarly gracious words through a translator, saying: 'The feeling is mutual between us and the American people.'
This is the president's fourth visit to the kingdom since taking office.
The talks come at a critical time in the U.S.-Saudi relationship, with 9/11 victims' families again pushing Congress for the right to sue Saudi Arabia over the death of their loved ones.
Previous court decisions have ruled that there is insufficient evidence to find Saudi Arabia culpable in the terror attacks, which is why they are now calling for the release of 28 classified pages from the 9/11 congressional report which is believed to show a stronger connection to Saudi funding of the attacks.

In short, the relationship is not broken - Saudi Arabia and the US still need each other - but their alliance is probably under more strain now than at any time since the 1973 Arab-Israeli war.

Joe Biden says Netanyahu has held Israel in the wrong direction with the steady and systematic expansion of settlements, the legalization of outposts and land seizures. He said such policies have raised profound questions about how Israel could remain QUOTE both Jewish and democratic. He warned that Netanyahu’s approach was moving Israel toward what he called a one-state reality, which could be dangerous once Jews are not a majority. The U-S vice president also offered a grim outlook for peace efforts between Israelis and the Palestinians during the rest of U-S president barrack Obama’s term in office. During his one hour speech, he systematically exposes the methodical treasonist plan for the destruction of the United States. Further, he reveals how the United State of America is being occupied by foreign troops, paramilitary "law enforcement" and paramilitary private mercenary contractors, all intent to carry out orders to end America's sovereign nation status and that of every county & state.
Sgt. Major Page declares that the U.S. government will use a series of controlled events to usher in MARTIAL LAW, abolish the U.S. Constitution, and replace our constitutional with a new one that has been in the drafting for many years. Each of which act, if true, is treason.
Is this what we are seeing unfold in St. Louis and Ferguson, Missouri with its FERGUSON INFERNO martial law incinerating the U.S. Constitution? How about the martial law that was executed after the Boston Bombing?
He states unequivocally that U.S and foreign military personal, local law enforcement and mercenary contractors will be coming to "KILL YOU" because you believe in the U.S. Constitution, because you believe in the right to keep & bear arms under the 2nd Amendment, because you believe in Jesus Christ and because you believe God grants us our rights, not any government or human being. He details three phases a society passes through as these tyrannical plans are rolled out:
1. Persecution — If you take a stand on anything [political, social, religious, ect.] you are a terrorist and you are singled out, ridiculed and labeled a domestic terrorist.
2. Prosecution — Enemies of the state are then financially attacked, beaten and thrown in prison.

Major Dan Page, Ret., also reveals that he was in a meeting just a month prior to 9/11, wherein the head of U.S. Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) flew into Bosnia for a presentation to a large group of special forces operators and commanders. Pages says that it was in this meeting where the head of SOCEUR revealed “THERE'S ABOUT TO BE AN ATTACK ON THE UNITED STATES,” while displaying on a screen the pictures and names of all of the people who were to be involved in the upcoming attack.
He concludes that it is not too late to stop the destruction of America peacefully by exposing the elected president's and congress's treason against America and every individual State, but warned that if American citizens don't make the right decisions in the "BALLOT BOX", they will end up in a "BULLET BOX", [coffin].
Page also holds up a copy of the USA Today newspaper and quotes a full page story on how U.S. Supreme Court Former justice Stevens wants to change Constitution of the United States of America. The published article quotes Former Supreme Court justice John Paul Stevens, and his most recent book, as wanting to bring about six (6) major changes to the Constitution, with the first being;
(1) Changing the Second Amendment to make clear that only a state's militia, not its citizens, has a constitutional right to bear arms.
This appears to support a fascist and totalitarian total gun ban and disarming of every U.S. citizen, just as Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Mussolini did before slaughtering their citizens. Throughout the annals of history, is written from the blood of disarmed and defenseless citizenry, the horrors and atrocities of tyrannical and menical mass murder, genocide, extinction and wholesale crimes against humanity.

James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr. (born October 1, 1924) is an American politician and author who served as the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981. He was awarded the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize for his work with the Carter Center.
Carter, a Democrat raised in rural Georgia, was a peanut farmer who served two terms as a Georgia State Senator, from 1963 to 1967, and one as the Governor of Georgia, from 1971 to 1975. He was elected President in 1976, defeating incumbent President Gerald Ford in a relatively close election, the Electoral College margin of 57 votes was the closest at that time since 1916.
On his second day in office, Carter pardoned all evaders of the Vietnam War drafts. During his term as President, Carter created two new cabinet-level departments, the Department of Energy and the Department of Education. He established a national energy policy that included conservation, price control, and new technology. In foreign affairs, Carter pursued the Camp David Accords, the Panama Canal Treaties, the second round of Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT II), and the return of the Panama Canal Zone to Panama. On the economic front he confronted persistent "stagflation", a combination of high inflation, high unemployment and slow growth. The end of his presidential tenure was marked by the 1979–1981 Iran hostage crisis, the 1979 energy crisis, the Three Mile Island nuclear accident, and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. In response to the Soviet move he ended détente, escalated the Cold War, and led the international boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. By 1980, Carter's popularity had eroded such that, running for re-election that year, he was challenged by Senator Ted Kennedy in the Democratic Party's primaries for the presidential nomination, marking the most recent Democratic primary in which an incumbent faced serious opposition. Carter won the 1980 primary with 51.13% of the vote (all incumbent candidates since have won at least 72.8% of their party's primary votes) but lost the general election in an electoral landslide to Republican nominee Ronald Reagan, who won 44 of 50 states.

Silicon Valley multi-millionaire turned international playboy, John McAfee caught the world's attention at the centre of a sensational murder mystery. He's been on the run, but now says he's willing to talk.
"Did I murder my neighbour in Belize? Was I manufacturing illegal drugs in Central America? Was I having sex with underage girls and was I using bath salts? I can answer a resounding no to all three of those questions." It's a quote from one of John McAfee's videos that have become internet sensations, reflecting his showmanship, attention-seeking and difficulty to pin down. The day after the infamous murder McAfee fled to Guatemala, saying he feared being framed over the shooting of his neighbour Greg Faull. "I'm not charged with anything. There is not a shred of evidence", the notorious prankster insists. "I spoke less than 50 words to this man." So was it generosity or self-interest that motivated McAfee to donate masses of equipment to the Belizian police? McAfee claims his troubles began when he refused to pay a senior politician a large bribe, hinting at being set up. As the mysterious case drags on, the sad fact is that Greg Faull's family are unlikely to see justice. Greg's father reads the response from the US government to his appeal for help: "Belize has a poor record of properly investigating unsolved cases and these are rarely brought to a successful conclusion".
