Oh I love you Venezuela
The sun the sky the sea the sand
I'm going back to Venezuela
For me it is the promised land
I went down for a wedding
Of an ex of mine
We watched the world go by
On Jenezuelan time
We slept to the sound of the waves
Under the starlit sky
The warm air soothed my soul
Came home but I don't know why
We danced each night away
Played hard every day
Cuba libres in the palm tree shade
I could live my life that way
Venezuelan moon
I want to see you again
Venezuelan moon
I want to see you
I had the whole beach to myself
And I walked for miles and miles
My path and troubles got washed away
My thoughts drifted to a desert isle
Came down for a wedding
Of an ex of mine
We watched the world go by
On Jenezuelan time
Venezuelan moon
I want to see you again
Venezuelan moon
