The Voice Indonesia adalah suatu ajang pencarian bakat bernyanyi yang diadopsi dari The Voice of Holland (Belanda) yang diproduksi dari Talpa Media Group. The Voice sudah pernah sukses di beberapa Negara diantaranya, UK, US, Australia, Filipina, Korea, China, Thailand dan banyak Negara besar lainnya.
Hal yang membedakan The Voice dengan ajang pencarian bakat lainnya adalah proses audisi dimana juri tidak melihat siapa peserta yang bernyanyi, penilainnya hanya berdasarkan kemampuan bernyanyinya. The Voice Indonesia akan memiliki 4 orang juri yang berperan sebagai mentor dan yang bertarung dengan juri lainnya untuk membentuk tim terbaik agar dapat terus berlanjut kebabak-babak selanjutnya hingga keluar menjadi pemenang.

Dirigida por Jon Favreau (Chef, Iron Man – El hombre de hierro, Elf), basada en los inolvidables cuentos de Rudyard Kipling e inspirada en el clásico animado de Disney, EL LIBRO DE LA SELVA nos trae una nueva y épica aventura de acción real acerca de Mowgli (en la piel del debutante Neel Sethi), el cachorro-humano que fue criado por una familia de lobos. Pero Mowgli se entera de que ya no es bien recibido en la selva cuando el temible tigre Shere Khan (voz en inglés de Idris Elba), resentido por las heridas infligidas por el Hombre, promete eliminar toda posible amenaza. Forzado a abandonar el único hogar que conoció en su vida, Mowgli se embarca en un fascinante viaje de autodescubrimiento, guiado por la pantera mentora Bagheera (voz en inglés de Ben Kinglsey) y el despreocupado oso Baloo (voz en inglés de Bill Murray). En el camino, Mowgli se encontrará con animales de la selva que no tienen las mejores intenciones, incluida Kaa (voz en inglés de Scarlett Johansson), una serpiente pitón cuya mirada y voz seductora lo hipnotizan, y el embaucador Rey Louie (voz en inglés de Christopher Walken), quien intenta obligar a Mowgli a revelar el secreto de la escurridiza y mortal flor roja: el fuego.
El reparto estelar también incluye a Lupita Nyong'o como la voz de la ferozmente protectora madre loba Raksha, y Giancarlo Esposito quien presta su voz a Akela, el macho alfa de la manada de lobos. El tercer episodio de la magnífica serie "Amazonia: Última llamada" nos muestra algunos de los terribles acontecimientos de la lucha entre indios amazónicos y los colonos que invadieron sus territorios en el valle del río Javari. Unos colonos "cegados por las riquezas de la selva" en busca de oro y petróleo, y en hacer negocio con la madera de la tala masiva de árboles con los que los nativos comparten su hogar.
Esta era la situación hasta que en 1996 Sydney Possuelo, como director del Departamento de Tribus Desconocidas (Departamento de Indios Aislados) en el FUNAI (Fundação Nacional do Indio), consiguió doblar la zona oficial designada a las tierras indígenas en Brasil en sólo dos años.
Possuelo redefinió el territorio indio, expulsó a cientos de colonos y predicadores proselitistas y fue al territorio de la tribu de los (hasta ahora) peligrosos Korubo para hacerles llegar un mensaje de la paz, de comprensión y de respeto hacia su mundo de valores.
En este documental Sydney Possuelo le muestra a Luis Miguel Domínguez (y a todos nosotros) unas grabaciones de valor incalculable de los primeros contactos amistosos con los Korubo, en los que los indígenas lograron superar la renuencia de muchos años de crímenes y usurpaciones.
Una muestra de cómo Sydney Possuelo luchó y sigue luchando para que sean los propios indígenas quienes decidan los tiempos y las formas de su encuentro con el hombre blanco.

Selva is a coastal comarca (county) in Catalonia, Spain, located between the mountain range known as the Serralada Transversal or Puigsacalm and the Costa Brava (part of the Mediterranean coast). Unusually, it is divided between the provinces of Girona and Barcelona, with Fogars de la Selva being part of Barcelona province, and all other municipalities falling inside Girona province. Also unusually, its capital, Santa Coloma de Farners, is no longer among its larger municipalities, with the coastal towns of Blanes and Lloret de Mar having far surpassed it in size.
Selva borders the comarques of Maresme, Vallès Oriental, Osona, Garrotxa, Gironès, and Baix Empordà.
Some populations are as of 2001[update].

Plot: The town of Papayal is located in the Amazon jungle. It is ruled by violence, greed and vice. Gritos na selva é um trabalho realizado por jovens e adolescentes da cidade de Tefé no Amazonas. Esse trabalho é parte de um projeto chamado Cinema e Identidade. A particularidade desse filme é que foi realizado na base do improviso e os integrantes nao sao profissionais na area cinematografica.

El tercer episodio de la magnífica serie "Amazonia: Última llamada" nos muestra algunos de los terribles acontecimientos de la lucha entre indios amazónicos y los colonos que invadieron sus territorios en el valle del río Javari. Unos colonos "cegados por las riquezas de la selva" en busca de oro y petróleo, y en hacer negocio con la madera de la tala masiva de árboles con los que los nativos comparten su hogar.
Esta era la situación hasta que en 1996 Sydney Possuelo, como director del Departamento de Tribus Desconocidas (Departamento de Indios Aislados) en el FUNAI (Fundação Nacional do Indio), consiguió doblar la zona oficial designada a las tierras indígenas en Brasil en sólo dos años.
Possuelo redefinió el territorio indio, expulsó a cientos de colonos y predicadores proselitistas y fue al territorio de la tribu de los (hasta ahora) peligrosos Korubo para hacerles llegar un mensaje de la paz, de comprensión y de respeto hacia su mundo de valores.
En este documental Sydney Possuelo le muestra a Luis Miguel Domínguez (y a todos nosotros) unas grabaciones de valor incalculable de los primeros contactos amistosos con los Korubo, en los que los indígenas lograron superar la renuencia de muchos años de crímenes y usurpaciones.
Una muestra de cómo Sydney Possuelo luchó y sigue luchando para que sean los propios indígenas quienes decidan los tiempos y las formas de su encuentro con el hombre blanco.

En los poblados sánema siempre hay un techado donde tiene lugar la vida social de la tribu en la selva del amazonas. Por las mañanas, las mujeres sánema tienen la costumbre de reunirse aquí, para pintarse el rostro y el cuerpo con dibujos clánicos o esotéricos.
Otra de las labores comunes habituales es la de despiojarse. Casi de continuo, las mujeres se dedican a capturar esos pequeños parásitos entre el pelo de la cabeza de sus compañeras o de los niños. Cuando atrapan alguno, lo matan con sus dientes y se lo comen. Esta claro, que sobre gusto no hay nada escrito.
A modo de colirio, el jugo de esta liána calma la irritación de los ojos del niño. Conocen innumerables remedios para muchas de las dolencias que padecen. Pero la enfermedad aquí tiene una transcendencia religiosa por residir su etiología en la magia y los hechizos. Por tanto, aparte de las recetas de pócimas y ungüentos que aplican a los enfermos, los chamanes deben trasladarse al otro lado, al país de los espíritus, para recibir sus consejos, ellos son los únicos capaces de deshacer los embrujos.
Necesitan ingerir fuertes dosis de sacona, que les produce una gran salivación. El viaje que tienen que realizar para encontrarse con sus deidades y formular sus preguntas, es muy largo. Los cánticos rituales y los movimientos acompasados son eficaces instrumentos para salir de sí mismos, para transcender al más allá, para abrir la puerta que permite a sus conciencias acceder a una realidad diferente.
En este caso tratan de curar a un niño que sufre dolores de tripa. Su madre cree que un chaman de otro poblado cercano le ha mandado este mal por encargo de un hombre que la pretendía y fue despreciado por ella.
Este tipo de conflictos es muy frecuente entre los sánema. El problema es que hay menos mujeres que hombres y eso ocasiona constantes disputas. Son frecuentes los raptos y las consecuentes reyertas entre tribus y poblados.
El chaman mayor, indica lo que tienen que hacer para extraer el mal del cuerpo del niño, los otros ejecutan sus ordenes, mientras siguen ingiriendo el poderoso alucinógeno.
El más joven frota las manos sobre la tripa del niño para impregnarse del mal que le atenaza. Luego, se dirige al exterior del techado y lo expulsa hacia la selva. Seguramente el niño se curara con las hierbas que más tarde le suministraran, pero la madre necesita este rito catártico para sentirse liberada del conjuro.

"Candamo, la última selva sin hombres" es cine de aventura. Daniel Winitzky hizo 16 viajes a la selva de Puno y Madre De Dios, paraíso de biodiversidad con miles de especies entre las que no abunda, de ahí su carácter remoto, el hombre. Publicista sin mayor experiencia fílmica que la de los comerciales para Tv., Winitzky se lanzó a la piscina sin saber qué tan lejos llegaría, pero con la estratégica decisión de filmar en super 16 mm., standard superior a cualquier tecnología de video. Cuando la simple paciencia para contemplar al paisaje y a sus esquivos habitantes no era suficiente, se recurrió a técnicas mixtas - por ejemplo, fotografía subacuática en pozas que reproducían el lecho fluvial. En el camino encontró el apoyo de los productores suecos de Scandinature, convirtió a sus guías nativos en personajes de alegre ficción, y exprimió a la generosa naturaleza tropical. Centenas de minutos con flora y fauna rara vez filmada y tres miembros del equipo con uta, entre ellos el propio Winitzky, fue el saldo de rodaje.
En 1998, las organizaciones Backus y Johnston, Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) y América Televisión, se unen con la finalidad de preservar a perpetuidad la integridad ecológica de la zona del Candamo: promover su investigación, estudio, y difundir sus valores.
Consecuencia de esto, Daniel Winitzky realiza este documental que describe el valle del Candamo a través de los ojos de tres nativos de Mañuco, Melo y Mishaja. En el transcurso de los 16 viajes en 4 años, se muestra lo deshabitado y exótico de sus selvas, rodeadas de montañas que las llevan protegiendo desde el periodo pleistocénico, lo que lo convierte en un territorio tropical virgen de gran diversidad biológica. En otras palabras, se trata, debido a ese aislamiento, de un refugio natural de especies de flora y fauna únicas en el planeta.
El documental fue premiado en varios festivales y tambien ha sido difundido por Discovery Channel a nivel internacional.
Después de la respectiva introducción al documental empezaremos presentando a Melo, Mañuco y Mishaja. Nuestros tres personajes que irán en busca del desconocido Candamo gracias a la ayuda de un turista norteamericano, que en agradecimiento del trato que recibió en su visita a las selvas peruanas les solventa los gastos economicos del viaje hacía ese lugar hinospito llamado Candamo. Es asi que salen de Puerto Maldonado en Madre de Dios, recorriendo el río Tambopata y como primer espectáculo nos presentaran las colpas de los guacamayos.
Continuamos el viaje observando a una temible y gigantesca anaconda, aunque Agustin Mishaja nos dice que ha visto aun más grandes del grosor de un cilindro. Es entonces que dejamos el río Tambopata y nos enteramos que el viaje hacia adelante va a ser aun más dificil, es por este motivo que el valle del Candamo se encuentra protegido del hombre "civilizado". Melo, Mañuco y Mishaja andan entusiasmados por estar acercandose poco a poco al Candamo, lugar que ni sus antepasados conocieron, lugar de ecosistemas virgenes, limpios de contaminación y paraiso terrenal ante tanta pobreza ambiental. No en vano el Candamo es considerada la mayor área salvaje de todos los trópicos del planeta.
Empezando esta parte conoceremos al puerco espina y su singular forma de defensa, después nos relacionaremos con uno de los mejores nadadores del Candamo los Lobos del Río, depredadores feroces y de increible tamaño que por su piel han llegado a la extinción mundial, el Candamo es uno de los últimos refugio que aun tiene. Tambien se analizará una de las enfermedades más desconocidas y debastadoras de la amazonía, la popular UTA, considerada una enfermedad de pobres que no tiene cura por el desinteres de la ciencia. Pero un buen inicio de investigación es saber que el reservorio del parasito de la UTA, increiblemente es el habitat de un animal desconocido, extraño y curioso... Based on his sensational discovery, archaeologists have been able to shed further light on this remarkable location. Manaus is the capital city of the state of Amazonas in northern Brazil. It is situated at the confluence of the Negro and Solimões rivers. With a population of two million, it is the most populous city of Amazonas.
The city was founded in 1693-94 as the Fort of São José do Rio Negro. It was elevated to a town in 1832 with the name of "Manaus", an altered spelling of the indigenous Manaós peoples, and legally transformed into a city on October 24, 1848, with the name of Cidade da Barra do Rio Negro, Portuguese for "The City of the Margins of Black River". On September 4, 1856 it returned to its original name.
Manaus is located in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, and access to the city is primarily through boat or airplane. This isolation helped preserve both the nature as well as the culture of the city. The culture of Manaus, more than in any other urban area of Brazil, preserves the habits of Native Brazilian tribes. The city is the main entrance to visit the fauna and flora of the Brazilian Amazon. Few places in the world afford such a variety of plants, birds, insects, and fishes.
It was known at the beginning of the century, as "Heart of the Amazon" and "City of the Forest". Currently its main economic engine is the Industrial Pool of Manaus, the famous Free Economic Zone. The city has a free port and an international airport. Its manufactures include electronics, chemical products, and soap; there are distilling and ship construction industries. Manaus also exports Brazil nuts, rubber, jute and rosewood oil. It has a cathedral, opera house, zoological and botanical gardens, an ecopark and regional and native peoples museums.
With a population of 1.9 million people in 2014, Manaus is the most populous city in the Brazilian Amazon area and the 7th most populous in the country.[6] Located on the north bank of the Negro River, 11 miles (18 km) above the meeting of the rivers where the Negro merges with the Solimões, Manaus is 900 miles (1,450 km) inland from the Atlantic Ocean. It is the hub of tourism for the rivers, the jungle lodges and the river cruises.
The Solimões and Negro rivers meet in Manaus and join to form the Amazon River (using the Brazilian definition of the river; elsewhere, Solimões is considered the upper part of the Amazon). Rubber made it the richest city in South America during the late 1800s. Rubber also helped Manaus earn its nickname, the "Paris of the Tropics". Many wealthy European families settled in Manaus and brought their love for sophisticated European art, architecture and culture with them. Manaus is also a duty-free zone, which has encouraged development in the region.

Cotopaxi is the world's highest active volcano. Many cities and sites in Ecuador are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Such cities and best known places are the Galapagos Islands, and the city of Cuenca.
Ecuador is the most biodiverse country in the world. Ecuador has over one hundred different types of hummingbirds and thousands of orchid varieties. Cuyabeno Wild Life Reserve, Mindo and San Luis de Pambil are all good places to see many types of flora and fauna. The Galapagos Islands are justly famed for their wildlife.
The Cuyabeno Wild Life Reserve is probably the best place to see the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador, even though there are other national parks which are also interesting (such as the Yasuni National Park). It's a place of high biodiversity and nature lovers should feel in paradise. That's a good way to discover the indigenous communities of Ecuador and to eventually meet a local shaman. It's necessary to get to Lago Agrio to reach the reserve. Private transportation is made possible by the local accommodation, which is provided by eco-lodges.
The beaches in Ecuador are amazing, including: Salinas, Bahia de Caraquez, Manta, Crucita, San Jacinto, and San Clemente. They offer very inexpensive hotel accommodations, great food and friendly people. But there are also very upmarket establishments as well.

Just like anywhere, the farther you get off the beaten path, the more likely you are to see a wide variety of flora and fauna.
Bird Watching - One of the most wonderful activities for people who love nature is bird watching. You can enjoy bird watching in many areas of Costa Rica. Due to the great diversity of climates, temperatures and forest types in Costa Rica, there is a wonderful variety of birds, with over 800 species. Some helpful books available on bird watching are Birds of Costa Rica by F. Gary Stiles and Alexander Skutch (Cornell University Press) or An Illustrated Field Guide to Birds of Costa Rica, illustrated by Victor Esquivel Soto. These books can be found at certain bookstores in San José or before coming to Costa Rica. They are both heavy books; many people tear out the plates of the Stiles & Skutch book to carry into the field and leave the rest of the book in their car or room. Plastic cards with the most common birds are available for many areas and are sold at gift shops.

"Today we visited La Selva Biological station just south of Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui and at the confluence of the Puerto Viejo and Sarapiqui Rivers. The station has recorded over 400 birds, 460 tree species and 500 butterfly types in just 6 square miles!
I had made sure everyone had the right footwear but couldn't believe it when my heavy duty sandals and socks that were enclosed all except for a couple of holes at the top were deemed unacceptable and I had to change into a pair of ill-fitting rubber boots. So ill fitting that I had to fold them down to get them over my fat calves! Of course this was to the delight of the rest of the family. So not looking my best in shorts and wellies we made our way over the swing bridge onto the main trail.
We were with a group of six French tourists and our guide was a young woman who turned out to be very knowledgeable. She explained how La Selva was a mix of primary and secondary forest and is very prone to flooding due to the fact that it is only just above sea-level. Jaguars and Pumas have been spotted but you have to be very lucky. Our guide had been working here for over a year and had never seen either.
Our first stop was a tree covered in the pendulous nests of the Montezuma Oropendola a bird that we would see often in Costa Rica with its striking yellow tail. Our young female guide had a nest to show us, it was amazing, measuring about 100cm long and built of woven fibres and vines. Apparently the male will build a new nest each season.
Next a Chestnut Mandible Toucan flew into view with its brightly coloured bill unmistakable against the dark tree canopy. Its call is a very distinctive too, a piercing 'a-yip'. We travelled further down the trail which is very accessible, in fact most people tended to travel by bicycles and we often had to move to one side to let a cyclist pass through. La Selva is maintained by the Organization for Tropical Studies so there are always lots of researchers staying here involved in a variety of research projects.
We saw lots of interesting insects as we wondered through including the incredibly beautiful Blue Morpho and Monarch butterflies and the highly patterned Harlequin Beetle. The Monarchs are known for their long mating periods, sometimes remaining connected for days and for the fact that the males have sometimes been known to rape the pupa! Leaf cutter ants were everywhere in long, sinuous lines each carrying pieces of foliage many times their own size back to their nests. We also saw many of the infamous Bullet Ants and for once I was quite happy with my tight rubber boots. Our guide told us that she had once been stung by one that had got into her shoe and she was in agony for quite a few days. Strange hairy caterpillars and large millipedes also abounded in the undergrowth. This was also the habitat for the bright red Blue Jeans Dart Frog and we spotted quite a few of these distinctive amphibians looking like large strawberries on the forest floor. Its bright colour displayed as a warning to would-be predators indicating the presence of toxins in the frog's skin. The blue jean's part of the name relates to the fact that its legs are blue so that it appears that it is wearing a pair of levis.
All of a sudden one of the French guys came over and said he had spotted a snake on a branch a bit further back. It turned out to be a bright yellow and highly venomous Eyelash Palm Pit Viper. It was only a juvenile but our guide explained that sometimes these could be more dangerous as when young these snakes had not yet worked out how to control the amount of poison they need to catch their prey. It is called an Eyelash Pit Viper because of the modified bristly scales over its eyes that make it look as though it has eyelashes. It didn't seem too interested in us and we were ..."

Angkor is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Stretching over some 400 km2, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century. They include the famous Temple of Angkor Wat and, at Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple with its countless sculptural decorations. UNESCO has set up a wide-ranging programme to safeguard this symbolic site and its surroundings.
Angkor Wat today
================
The Archaeological Survey of India carried out restoration work on the temple between 1986 and 1992. Since the 1990s, Angkor Wat has seen continued conservation efforts and a massive increase in tourism. The temple is part of the Angkor World Heritage Site, established in 1992, which has provided some funding and has encouraged the Cambodian government to protect the site. The German Apsara Conservation Project (GACP) is working to protect the devatas and other bas-reliefs which decorate the temple from damage. The organisation's survey found that around 20% of the devatas were in very poor condition, mainly because of natural erosion and deterioration of the stone but in part also due to earlier restoration efforts.[51] Other work involves the repair of collapsed sections of the structure, and prevention of further collapse: the west facade of the upper level, for example, has been buttressed by scaffolding since 2002, while a Japanese team completed restoration of the north library of the outer enclosure in 2005.[53] World Monuments Fund began conservation work on the Churning of the Sea of Milk Gallery in 2008 after several years of conditions studies. The project restored the traditional Khmer roofing system and removed cement used in earlier restoration attempts that had resulted in salts entering the structure behind the bas-relief, discoloring and damaging the sculpted surfaces. The main phase of work ended in 2012, and the final component will be the installation of finials on the roof of the gallery in 2013.
Microbial biofilms have been found degrading sandstone at Angkor Wat, Preah Khan, and the Bayon and West Prasat in Angkor. The dehydration and radiation resistant filamentous cyanobacteria can produce organic acids that degrade the stone. A dark filamentous fungus was found in internal and external Preah Khan samples, while the alga Trentepohlia was found only in samples taken from external, pink-stained stone at Preah Khan.[54]
Angkor Wat has become a major tourist destination. In 2004 and 2005, government figures suggest that, respectively, 561,000 and 677,000 foreign visitors arrived in Siem Reap province, approximately 50% of all foreign tourists in Cambodia for both years.[55] The site has been managed by the private SOKIMEX group since 1990, which rented it from the Cambodian government. The influx of tourists has so far caused relatively little damage, other than some graffiti; ropes and wooden steps have been introduced to protect the bas-reliefs and floors, respectively. Tourism has also provided some additional funds for maintenance—as of 2000 approximately 28% of ticket revenues across the whole Angkor site was spent on the temples—although most work is carried out by foreign government-sponsored teams rather than by the Cambodian authorities.

Angkor is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Stretching over some 400 km2, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century. They include the famous Temple of Angkor Wat and, at Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple with its countless sculptural decorations. UNESCO has set up a wide-ranging programme to safeguard this symbolic site and its surroundings.

The Archaeological Survey of India carried out restoration work on the temple between 1986 and 1992. Since the 1990s, Angkor Wat has seen continued conservation efforts and a massive increase in tourism. The temple is part of the Angkor World Heritage Site, established in 1992, which has provided some funding and has encouraged the Cambodian government to protect the site. The German Apsara Conservation Project (GACP) is working to protect the devatas and other bas-reliefs which decorate the temple from damage. The organisation's survey found that around 20% of the devatas were in very poor condition, mainly because of natural erosion and deterioration of the stone but in part also due to earlier restoration efforts.[51] Other work involves the repair of collapsed sections of the structure, and prevention of further collapse: the west facade of the upper level, for example, has been buttressed by scaffolding since 2002, while a Japanese team completed restoration of the north library of the outer enclosure in 2005.[53] World Monuments Fund began conservation work on the Churning of the Sea of Milk Gallery in 2008 after several years of conditions studies. The project restored the traditional Khmer roofing system and removed cement used in earlier restoration attempts that had resulted in salts entering the structure behind the bas-relief, discoloring and damaging the sculpted surfaces. The main phase of work ended in 2012, and the final component will be the installation of finials on the roof of the gallery in 2013.
Microbial biofilms have been found degrading sandstone at Angkor Wat, Preah Khan, and the Bayon and West Prasat in Angkor. The dehydration and radiation resistant filamentous cyanobacteria can produce organic acids that degrade the stone. A dark filamentous fungus was found in internal and external Preah Khan samples, while the alga Trentepohlia was found only in samples taken from external, pink-stained stone at Preah Khan.[54]
Angkor Wat has become a major tourist destination. In 2004 and 2005, government figures suggest that, respectively, 561,000 and 677,000 foreign visitors arrived in Siem Reap province, approximately 50% of all foreign tourists in Cambodia for both years.[55] The site has been managed by the private SOKIMEX group since 1990, which rented it from the Cambodian government. The influx of tourists has so far caused relatively little damage, other than some graffiti; ropes and wooden steps have been introduced to protect the bas-reliefs and floors, respectively. Tourism has also provided some additional funds for maintenance—as of 2000 approximately 28% of ticket revenues across the whole Angkor site was spent on the temples—although most work is carried out by foreign government-sponsored teams rather than by the Cambodian authorities.

The most photographed view of the islands is found here, the famous Pinnacle Rock and the distant islands.
