The story takes place in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, where his lead actress is the maternal niece of the local Raja Bijendra Singh, and the motor mechanic is Kameshwar Mathur, the only son of a multi-millionaire. Kameshwar and Meenaxi meet and are instantly attracted to each other. The second scenario the Nawab creates takes place in Prague, the Czech republic, where Meenaxi is portrayed as a young woman living in a Nunnery by the name of Maria Gulcova, who has been assigned to do some research on India and it's culture. In order to do this, she meets with a young man from India, Kameshwar, and both are attracted to each other. The Nawab takes both these scenarios into consideration, and often gets so involved that it is difficult for him to distinguish fiction from reality. Watch how the Nawab and Meenaxi handle this matter, and how an ending is set for this story.

Why Do Japanese Use Kanji? Japanese is known for its complicated writing system, but why do we use kanji? Can't we just use hiragana and katakana? Is it possible to abolish kanji?
- Hiragana and Katakana are phonetic characters.
- Kanji (literally meaning
Chinese letters) is like a
symbol.
- Japanese has a lot of homophones and homographs and kanji helps to distinguish them.
- We have a set of official kanji on the joyo kanji list.
- There has been a number of attempts to abolish kanji in
Japanese history.
-
Once,
John Pelzel from the
Allied occupation of Japan tried to completely romanise Japanese after
WWII.
[Here's a bit of history of people who tried to abolish kanji]
1866 - Hisoka Maejima, a Japanese statesman, was said to send a proposal to the shogun, insisting on abolishing kanji.
1872 -
Yukichi Fukuzawa, Japan's prominent figure featured in the current 10,
000 yen bill, wrote about his idea of abolishing kanji.
1881 - A group of people started a movement to promote the use of kana letters in place of kanji.
1946 -
Naoya Shiga, a famous
Japanese novelist, suggested that Japan should adopt
French as the official language.
1946 -
The Yomiuri Shimbun, one of the most popular
Japanese newspapers, published an editorial arguing that adopting
Roman alphabet would be key to democratise the country.

When I found out the
Japanese writing system, Kanji, has over 2,
000 characters I nearly packed up my bags and went home after I finished crying - but after discovering a fun and creative solution to the problem , which turned a hell of a task into a short, enjoyable one, I feel I have to share the method with the world.
The method revolves around a book called "
Remembering the Kanji" by Heisig and is very popular for learners of Japanese who struggle with the characters. I highly recommend the book to all and it can be found HERE:

(字幕あり) How to learn to read and write
Japanese kanji, the RIGHT WAY.
WHAT NOT TO DO
-
Don't learn kanji in books full of
English
Kanji should be learned in Japanese. After all, the language you are learning is Japanese so you should do your best to break off from always having to translate things into English, and start understanding stuff in Japanese. Kanji are building blocks to full words, and sometimes they can represent a full word alone
. If the kanji doesn't represent a full word, you must learn words acociated with that kanji.
Learning kanji in order, using Japanese children books you will be given a list of words you need to know with this kanji.
- Don't focus too much on the on and kun yomi.
You learn full words, not a bunch of readings.
Sometimes people spend way too much time on remembering each and every reading of a Kanji, but they don't spend enough time on the actual words accociated with that kanji. Readings wont tell you how to read each word, learning each word 1 by 1 will tell you how to read each word. Even adult
Japanese people come accross words they don't know the reading everyday, such as station names. You will get a general idea and naturally remember all the readings of each kanji as you learn more words accociated with it.
- Don't try to have 1 English meaning for every kanji you learn.
Not all kanji have 1 meaning, kanji are building blocks to words, don't treat them as individual meanings put together to make words. When Japanese people look at words they don't split up each meaning of each character, they look at the whole word, and they see those images represent pronunciations, of a word, that word has a meaning.
DO DO
- learn words with that kanji in it, when you learn a new kanji.
- always write the kanji over and over again
- not just vocabulary, but you want to put things into full sentences.
- Learn radicals, they will help you understand how Japanese is written and help you tell other people how to read the kanji, or understand when you ask someone how to write a kanji you don't remember how.
BOOKS I recomend
毎日のドリル 小学校1年漢字
If you can't read this, or can't read hiragana and katakana its too soon to start on
Japanese books.
Otherwise search this title in ebay or amazon to see if you can buy it online.
as well as 2-6 year kanji books from same company.
