The Prime Minister of Canada (French: Premier ministre du Canada) is the primary minister of the Crown, chairman of the Cabinet, and thus head of government for Canada, charged with advising the Canadian monarch or federal viceroy on the exercise of the executive powers vested in them by the constitution. Not outlined in any constitutional document, the office exists only as per long-established convention (originating in Canada's former colonial power, the United Kingdom) that stipulates the monarch's representative, the governor general, must select as prime minister the person most likely to command the confidence of the elected House of Commons; this individual is typically the leader of the political party that holds the largest number of seats in that chamber. Canadian prime ministers are styled as The Right Honourable (French: Le Très Honorable), a privilege maintained for life.
The current, and 23rd, Prime Minister of Canada is the Liberal Party's Justin Trudeau, who was appointed on November 4, 2015, by Governor General David Johnston, following the general election that took place that year.
A prime minister is the most senior minister of cabinet in the executive branch of government, often in a parliamentary or semi-presidential system. In many systems, the prime minister selects and may dismiss other members of the cabinet, and allocates posts to members within the government. In most systems, the prime minister is the presiding member and chairman of the cabinet. In a minority of systems, notably in semi-presidential systems of government, a prime minister is the official who is appointed to manage the civil service and execute the directives of the head of state.
In parliamentary systems fashioned after the Westminster system, the prime minister is the presiding and actual head of government and head of the executive branch. In such systems, the head of state or the head of state's official representative (i.e. the monarch, president, or governor-general) usually holds a largely ceremonial position, although often with reserve powers.
The prime minister is often, but not always, a member of parliament and is expected with other ministers to ensure the passage of bills through the legislature. In some monarchies the monarch may also exercise executive powers (known as the royal prerogative) that are constitutionally vested in the crown and may be exercised without the approval of parliament.
Justin Pierre James Trudeau PC MP (born December 25, 1971) is a Canadian politician who is the 23rd and current Prime Minister of Canada, as well as the Leader of the Liberal Party. The second-youngest Canadian prime minister after Joe Clark, he is also, as the eldest son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, the first child of a previous prime minister to hold the post.
Trudeau was born in Ottawa and attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. He earned a BA in English literature from McGill University in 1994 and a BEd from the University of British Columbia in 1998. He gained a high public profile in October 2000, when he delivered a eulogy at his father's state funeral. After graduating, he worked as a teacher in Vancouver, British Columbia, then studied engineering, and began a master's degree in Environmental Geography. He used his public profile to advocate for various causes and acted in the 2007 TV miniseries The Great War.
After becoming more involved in politics after his father's death, Trudeau was elected in the 2008 federal election to represent the riding of Papineau in the House of Commons. In 2009, he was appointed the Liberal Party's critic for Youth and Multiculturalism and the following year became critic for Citizenship and Immigration. In 2011, he was appointed as critic for Secondary Education and Youth and Amateur Sport. Trudeau won the leadership of the Liberal Party in April 2013, and went on to lead his party to victory in the 2015 federal election, moving the third-placed Liberals from 36 seats to 184 seats, the largest-ever numerical increase by a party in a Canadian election.

Prince George totally shut down Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s attempt at a friendly high-five DENIED. Three-year-old Prince George totally shut down Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s attempt at a friendly high-five when the two met on Sept. 24 during the Royal Canadian Tour. It is actually one of the most painfully awkward things to watch. Being snubbed by the future king of England? That’s rough. See the video after the jump! Prince George, 3, was cute as a button when he got off the plane from England with his Royal mommy, daddy and baby sister. Seriously, no plane hair what-so-ever. But, he did have a tiny attitude, cause when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau offered the little prince a high-five, Prince George shook his head “no.” Ouch! That’s gotta hurt. But J...

Canadian Prime Minister Under Fire For Elbowing Female Lawmaker Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized Wednesday after he got into an altercation on the floor of the House of Commons and elbowed a female lawmaker. During a heated debate over assisted suicide, Trudeau became irritated when a group of opposition party MPs took their time in returning to their seats. He responded by running over and grabbing Conservative member Gord Brown and physically dragging him to his seat. In order to get to Brown, Trudeau elbowed his way past a circle of New Democrats including female member Ruth Ellen Brosseau who reacted in pain. “It was very overwhelming and so I left the chamber to go and sit in the lobby,” Brosseau later told the House. “I missed the vote because of this.” Trudeau was...

I'm trying to find the words of what I'm feeling
I realize that I just lost my chance with you
No! Don't understand how could I've been so blind
When everything I dreamed I had within my arms
Every single place, every single scent,
Anywhere I look, I want to find you
And I hope that you where there no matter
Anywhere woman I had you
I can't go on feeling like this
I need you here with me I want to feel free
You have my heart you have my love,
And I don't want them back
Every word that I say
I'm thinking of you
And the song that I wrote
It's all because I'm sorry
It's too much without you
I can't seem to go on
And I know it's my fault
I know that I could live my life without you
But every little thing I do seems strange, insane
Help me understand the things I did so wrong
I'll make it up to you.
I want you here with me now
I want you back.
Every word that I say
I'm thinking of you
And this song that I wrote
It's all because I'm sorry
It's too much without you
I can't seem to go on
And I know it's my fault
Every single beat of your broken heart I feel inside
Screaming from the bottom of hell I'm sorry
I know that I will have to wait maybe another day
But still won't let you go away I'm sorry
You knew when I was down but I left without a sound
I was so wrong and I wasn't strong I'm sorry
You knew when I was down but I left without a sound
