Welcome to NICIE

Welcome to the website of NICIE, the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education.

Integrated schools educate together children from both protestant and catholic traditions, as well as those of other faiths and none, in an inclusive, welcoming and aspiring environment. Integrated education provides a model of education fit for building a prosperous and peaceful 21st century society.

The role of NICIE is to promote and support this model of education.
