Why clips at 29.97 are hard to edit

-----------------------------------READ---------------------------------------- As I said I have been getting requests to edit peoples episodes and clips and they send me clips at 29.97 and they dont understand why I decline their clips. Hopefully this video will help you understand why most editors will not edit 29.97. Personally I own an el gato and for this video I attempted to switch the frame rate from 59 to 29 to get example clips and i couldn't even figure how to change the frame rate on the el gato because ever time ive downloaded the recording software it is automatically at 59 so if you have an el gato and you dont record at 59 i dont even know what to say. -If you initially render your clip at 29 frames you can NOT put it in any software and then re-render it to 59 IT IS IMPOSSIBLE so dont do it, it just slows editors down -You cant just do a simple edit on 29fps clips they are pretty much un-editable -You can not mix 59 and 29 in an episode (Example: you have 10- 59fps clips and 4- 29fps clips) you cant just do a simple or chill edit on the bad clips they just dont mix -The only way to get clips from 29 to 59 is to go to your player channel/vault and RE-RECORD them -It is NOT hard to render in (720p 59.94fps) there are videos all over youtube on how set-up your el gato or pvr so there really isnt an excuse for bad clips (Hopefully this helps you in the future and sorry again if you lose your clips)
