3rd ABCT, 3ID conducted a brigade level exercise that included M1 Abrams, Boeing AH-64 Apache, M142 HIMARS, Bradley fighing vehicle, f-15 etc. in a combined arms breach and joint air attack. Different Assault Breacher Vehicle were using during this training exercise.
M1 ABV is the name of a military vehicle model that is used in the United States Marine Corps. ABV, which stands for "Assault Breacher Vehicle" is a charge vehicle.
These tracked combat vehicles were especially designed to clear pathways for troops and other vehicles through minefields and along roadside bombs and improvised explosive devices. The 72-ton, 40-foot (12-meter)-long vehicles are based on the M1 Abrams with a 1,500 horsepower engine, but fitted with a 50-caliber machine gun and a front-mounted 15-foot (4.5-meter) wide plow, supported by metallic skis that glide on the dirt and armed with nearly 7,000 pounds (3,175 kilograms) of explosives.

Energy is like the bestest best friend ever and yet, most of the time we take it for granted. Hank feels bad for our friend and wants us to learn more about it so that we can understand what it's trying to tell us - like that any bond between two atoms contains energy. How much energy? That's not the simplest question to answer, but today Hank will answer it (kinda), by teaching us about a nifty little thing called enthalpy.
If you are paying attention to this episode you'll learn what the state function is, and how it varies from a path-dependent function; why enthalpy change is different from heat; that bonds are energy and to form and break them they release and absorb heat to and from their environment. You'll get the quickest introduction to calorimetry ever (more on that in upcoming episodes) and learn the power of Hess's Law and how to use Germain Hess's concept of the standard enthalpy of formation to calculate exactly how much heat is produced by any chemical reaction.

Power Rangers
Power Rangers is a long-running American entertainment and merchandising franchise built around a live action children's television series featuring teams of costumed heroes. Produced first by Saban Entertainment, later by BVS Entertainment, and as of 2015 by SCG Power Rangers, the television series takes much of its footage from the Japanese tokusatsu Super Sentai, produced by Toei Company. The first Power Rangers entry, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, debuted on August 28, 1993 and helped launch the Fox Kids programming block of the 1990s, during which it catapulted into popular culture along with a line of action figures and other toys by Bandai.
Despite initial criticism for its action violence targeted to child audiences, the franchise has continued, and as of 2016 the show consists of 23 television seasons of 19 different themed series and two theatrical films, with a third film coming out in 2017. In 2010, Haim Saban, creator of the series, regained ownership of the franchise after seven years under The Walt Disney Company.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is an American live action children's television series that premiered on August 28, 1993, on the Fox Kids weekday afternoon block. The show is about a group of teenagers who were chosen to protect the world from a group of alien invaders and were given the ability to "morph" into super-powered warriors and to pilot giant robots called "Zords." It was adapted and used stock footage from the Japanese television show Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, which was the 16th installment of Bandai Visual and Toei Company's Super Sentai franchise. Both the show and its related merchandise saw unbridled overnight success, becoming a staple of 1990s pop culture in mere months. Under the original name, "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," the series ran on Fox Kids from 1993 to 1995 and spawned the feature film Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995).
The second and third seasons of the show drew on footage and elements from the Super Sentai series Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger respectively, though the Zyuranger costumes were still used for the lead cast. Only the mecha and the Kiba Ranger costume (worn by the White Ranger) were retained from Dairanger for the second season, while only the mecha from Kakuranger were featured in the third season. However the Kakuranger costumes were later used for the title characters of the mini-series, Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers. The series was produced by MMPR Productions and distributed by Saban Entertainment. The show's merchandise was produced and distributed by Bandai Entertainment.

3rd ABCT, 3ID conducted a brigade level exercise that included M1 Abrams, Boeing AH-64 Apache, M142 HIMARS, Bradley fighing vehicle, f-15 etc. in a combined arms breach and joint air attack. Different Assault Breacher Vehicle were using during this training exercise. M1 ABV is the name of a military vehicle model that is used in the United States Marine Corps. ABV, which stands for "Assault Breacher Vehicle" is a charge vehicle. These tracked combat vehicles were especially designed to clear pathways for troops and other vehicles through minefields and along roadside bombs and improvised explosive devices. The 72-ton, 40-foot (12-meter)-long vehicles are based on the M1 Abrams with a 1,500 horsepower engine, but fitted with a 50-caliber machine gun and a front-mounted 15-foot (4.5-meter) wide plow, supported by metallic skis that glide on the dirt and armed with nearly 7,000 pounds (3,175 kilograms) of explosives. 3rd ABCT, 3ID conducted a brigade level exercise that included M1 Abrams, Boeing AH-64 Apache, M142 HIMARS, Bradley fighing vehicle, f-15 etc. in a combined arms breach and joint air attack. Different Assault Breacher Vehicle were using during this training exercise.
M1 ABV is the name of a military vehicle model that is used in the United States Marine Corps. ABV, which stands for "Assault Breacher Vehicle" is a charge vehicle.
These tracked combat vehicles were especially designed to clear pathways for troops and other vehicles through minefields and along roadside bombs and improvised explosive devices. The 72-ton, 40-foot (12-meter)-long vehicles are based on the M1 Abrams with a 1,500 horsepower engine, but fitted with a 50-caliber machine gun and a front-mounted 15-foot (4.5-meter) wide plow, supported by metallic skis that glide on the dirt and armed with nearly 7,000 pounds (3,175 kilograms) of explosives.

Hank feels bad for our friend and wants us to learn more about it so that we can understand what it's trying to tell us - like that any bond between two atoms contains energy. How much energy? That's not the simplest question to answer, but today Hank will answer it (kinda), by teaching us about a nifty little thing called enthalpy.
If you are paying attention to this episode you'll learn what the state function is, and how it varies from a path-dependent function; why enthalpy change is different from heat; that bonds are energy and to form and break them they release and absorb heat to and from their environment. You'll get the quickest introduction to calorimetry ever (more on that in upcoming episodes) and learn the power of Hess's Law and how to use Germain Hess's concept of the standard enthalpy of formation to calculate exactly how much heat is produced by any chemical reaction.

In its current state, slide charging should really only be used as a surprise attack, as gravity cancels are a better option in most situations. Of course, that's not to say they don't have uses. Slide charges are probably best used against opponents who like to come back to the stage by going down toward the bottom of the wall of the stage. Using a slide charge to stop them is probably your best option.
Gravity Cancels - 2:11
With by far the most potential for advanced play, gravity cancels can be used in almost any situation. Most importantly, you should remember that gravity cancels work for both light and heavy attacks. While using signatures in the air is fun and can help with ceiling kills, using gravity cancel light attacks is one of the best ways to get really good combos.
From the list of signatures that step back: Hattori Down Sig and Sentinal Down Sig were mistakenly left out!

Ledge Cancel - 3:14
The most important thing about ledge cancels is that you need to practice practice practice! They require precise timing so it will require you to get used to exactly when to trigger the attack to get the ledge cancel.
Hitboxes - 4:17
To access hitboxes, go into training mode, go to training mode settings, flip over to the last page, and select hitboxes and hurtboxes. These will let you see the hitboxes for all your moves and where your legend's hurtbox is. In addition, you can enable hitboxes and hurtboxes in replays by clicking on the gear right above the play bar.

“Can you commit to your candidate saying in the next 24 hours that President Barack Obama’s a legitimate president?” Matthews asked. “Can you commit for him that he will say that?”
“Just go back and look — he has said it already,” Giuliani claimed.
“No he hasn’t,” Matthews said after a second. “You are wrong on the fact, mister mayor.”
“But I think he did,” Giuliani replied, without identifying a source for his statement.

“I think you’re wrong,” Matthews said, apparently stifling a chuckle.
The former New York City mayor then claimed — falsely — that Hillary Clinton’s campaign was behind the conspiracy theory painting Obama as being born in Kenya, which would have rendered him ineligible for the presidency.
As Politifact reported last year, that rumor began with a Clinton volunteer, Linda Starr, who brought her allegations to an attorney in Pennsylvania for a lawsuit against Obama that was ultimately thrown out.
“There is no record that Clinton herself or anyone within her campaign ever advanced the charge that Obama was not born in the United States,” Politifact stated at the time. “A review by our fellow fact-checkers at Factcheck.org reported that no journalist who investigated this ever found a connection to anyone in the Clinton organization.”

For his part, Trump — who was roundly mocked in 2012 for offering $5 million to Obama if he could “prove” his US citizenship (even though he already had) — has taken to saying, “I don’t talk about it anymore” when asked about the issue during his current presidential campaign.
Regardless, Giuliani said, “Donald Trump believes that [Obama] was born in the United States,” prompting Matthews to shoot back, “When’s he gonna say it? When is he going to say that this president is legitimate? This is a fundamental question, mister Mayor: Is the president of the United States legitimate or not? If you believe it, why doesn’t your candidate state it?”

Nissan's concepts are generally pretty awesome. Whether it's the Gripz crossover, the IDS EV or the Warrior pickup, Nissan's futuristic styling plays well to concepts. The company's got a new concept out, the BladeGlider, and not only is its name pretty wicked, it's got some sharp looks, to boot.
The goal of the BladeGlider (man, that's an awesome name) is to present an electric vehicle that's fun to drive. Simple premise, right? While the premise might be simple, its execution is actually the result of two years of design, engineering and development work.
Just like the DeltaWing racecar, BladeGlider features varied front and rear track widths. Reducing the front track helps it cut through the air better without affecting steering. That shape also lends to a McLaren F1-style interior, where the driver sits front and center, ahead of two rear seats. The doors are rear-hinged and look like something a person would put on his or her Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
In fact, there's a whole bunch of racecar-inspired tech in here. The wheel and display arrangement looks like it's straight out of a Le Mans prototype. The two screens on either side of the central display are meant to replace the side mirrors, a common trope in new concepts.
It won't be confused for a racecar when it's speeding away, though -- 0-60mph is estimated at less than five seconds, with a top speed of just 118 mph. Then again, it comes with a specific drift mode, so straight-line speed isn't what this car is all about. Total electrical output is rated at 268 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque.
The vehicles will be on display for the media in Rio de Janiero this month. One of them will be for media drives, but if they could just drive it up to Detroit for me, that would be great.

Power is 100 percent electric, with exceptional powertrain performance delivered by Nissan's technical partner for the Nissan BladeGlider project, UK-based Williams Advanced Engineering. Maximum speed of the demonstration models is in excess of 190km/h*, with 0-100km/h taking less than five seconds*. The rear wheels' drive is provided by two 130kW electric motors - one for each wheel.
The system features torque vectoring, controlling the torque delivered to the driven wheels, improving the handling even further. With torque vectoring, if the car starts to understeer, it automatically sends more torque to the outside wheel to restore the handling balance.
Designed to add to the driving experience rather than govern it, the torque vectoring system has three settings: off, agile and drift mode.
Power is supplied by a high performance, five module lithium-ion 220kW battery. Bespoke cooling systems have been developed for both the battery and the motors.
The interior of the Nissan BladeGlider reflects the vehicles' sporting intentions, with four point safety harnesses for each occupant. The seats offer exceptional support to sides and legs of the driver and passengers. The seats are trimmed in a highly tactile blend of fabric and epoxy resin coating, resulting in a tough and grippy material that has the effect of comfortably securing occupants in place.

Soon after the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001, the largest Muslim charity in the United States - the Holy Land Foundation - was shut down, its assets frozen and five of its senior staff arrested by the FBI.
The charity was founded in California in 1989 and provided aid to a number of Palestinian causes. It also offered help to refugee communities in Jordan, Lebanon and other needy people across the Middle East and the rest of the world.
As the charity grew and revenue increased, claims emerged against the foundation.
The 1990s saw groups like the Anti-Defamation League and politicians such as the former Governor of New York City, Eliot Spitzer, and former Congressman Anthony Wiener lobby against the charity.
These groups appealed to the Clinton administration to shut the charity down, but failed. The US government eventually responded to similar accusations, allegedly made by the state of Israel.
The claims made were that the charity was a front for an illegal money-laundering operation, diverting funds to Hamas via zakat committees in the Occupied West Bank. Hamas, in turn, had been designated "a terrorist organisation" by the US government.
"It was a huge record that the government created, an administrative record - and it was basically garbage. It was newspaper articles, interviews that were translated from Arabic to Hebrew to English," says Nancy Hollander, one of the lawyers defending Shukri Abu Baker, a founder of the foundation.
"And we discovered when we did our own translations that their translations were completely wrong, that the government was relying on information that was completely false. But it didn't matter."
The five foundation founders were charged with providing "material support" to Hamas. During the first trial in 2007, their defence team struggled to deal effectively with two secret expert witnesses called by the prosecution whose "evidence" was not shared in advance. Nonetheless, the jury failed to agree on the charges brought against them and the judge declared a mistrial.
"More than 8,000 documents and the United States government didn't have a single American document that condemns the Holy Land Foundation. They might have had circumstantial evidence or doubts, but the only evidence was Israeli. And these documents were forged," says journalist Osama Abu Irshaid.
The former US Consul General in Jerusalem also points out that the US Agency for International Development funded the same zakat committees named in the indictment of the foundation and continued to do so for three years after the charity was shut down.
The Holy Land Five is a two-part documentary looking at the controversial trial of the Holy Land Foundation leaders. The films use interviews with defence and prosecution lawyers, family members, phone calls with the men themselves in jail - and reconstruction of court proceedings, to examine the case against the five men.

Kim Ki Nam, vice-chairman of the C.C., the WPK, Yun Tong Hyon, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, and Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, made congratulatory speeches at the rally.
The speakers said that the recent successful explosion test of nuclear warhead marked an event of special significance as it guaranteed the eternal prosperity and security of the great Paektusan power and a historic exciting event of the nation which instilled confidence in the final victory and optimism into all the service personnel and civilians in the vigorous campaign to build a powerful socialist country.
They said that signal successes being made in the field of national defence industry represent a praiseworthy victory won thanks to the energetic leadership and patriotic devotion of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
It is the immutable principle the army and people of the DPRK learned in the confrontation with the imperialists and the U.S. for the last several decades that the vicious hostile policy and war moves of the imperialists should be countered only with the toughest counteractions and merciless and prompt strikes.
The U.S. is now talking a torrent of nonsense, persistently resorting to the sanctions and pressure against the DPRK over its justifiable nuclear warhead explosion test, but it is nothing but ridiculous jargons made by those who are fear-stricken by the tremendous nuclear capability of the DPRK, they noted, calling on all service personnel and civilians to devotedly defend the C.C., the WPK headed by Kim Jong Un and the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and work unprecedented fresh miracles in the drive for recovering from the flood damage that hit the northern areas of North Hamgyong Province and thus conclude the 200-day campaign of loyalty with shining victory.

While there, he led a group of boys who built rockets. They called themselves the Big Creek Missile Agency (BCMA). After working on finding the perfect way to build rockets, they took their designs to the 1960 National Science Fair, where the BCMA won a gold and silver medal in the area of propulsion. Hickam graduated from Virginia Tech in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.[3] While at Virginia Tech he designed a cannon to be fired at games and during corps of cadets functions. The cannon was cast out of brass that had been collected from cadet belt buckles and caps, and scrap he got from his father, the superintendent of a coal mine. The cannon was named "The Skipper" after President John F. Kennedy and has become an icon for the Hokies. The original Skipper is now retired after having been replaced by a second cannon "Skipper II" after an incident in 1983. "Skipper II" was cast to carry on the tradition at Virginia Tech, and the original Skipper now resides in honor in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Museum.
A United States Army veteran, Hickam served as a First Lieutenant in the Fourth Infantry Division during the Vietnam War in 1967 and 1968. For his service, he earned the Army Commendation Medal and Bronze Star Medals. He served six years on active duty, leaving the Army as a Captain.

There are a large number of solar cell manufacturing companies involved in the UNSW Advanced Hydrogenation Technology where hydrogen is introduced into the solar cell in order to eliminate defects and other forms of recombination mechanisms.
Controlling the charge state of introduced hydrogen within the silicon solar cell is key to being able to eliminate defects and thus allow manufactures to use lower grade, less expensive, silicon to make high performance solar cells. Additionally, solar cells that have been treated with controlled charge state hydrogen generate significantly more energy throughout their lifetime because of the minimisation of degradation processes.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
Professor Stuart Wenham is the director of the Australian Research Council's Photovoltaics Centre of Excellence at the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of New South Wales.
Professor Wenham has 192 referred papers in scientific and technical journals, 86 refereed conference papers, 5 books, CD-ROMs and book chapters and 26 separate patents/patent applications.

ABSTRACT:
This talk addresses two principally different concepts to reduce some of the losses of conventional single junction solar cells: (1) reduction of parasitic absorption in non-ideal contact layers, and (2) minimizing thermalization losses.
In the first part I will discuss how in conventional Si heterojunction cells the parasitic absorption in the thin amorphous layers at the front side can be reduced by implementing a wider band gap material such as a-SiOx. Unfortunately, with increasing band gap of the contact layer the valence band offset to c-Si increases as well, causing problems in hole transport. To mitigate this, we introduce a “staircase” concept which is more tolerant for band offsets.
In the second part I will present a promising hybrid approach, which has the potential to minimize thermalization losses and could therefore theoretically enhance single junction Si device efficiency up to 40 %. The aim is to design a multiple-exciton generating device implemented on conventional c-Si absorbers using singlet fission (SF) in organic tetracene layers to generate bi-triplet excitons. First results of a working hybrid device are presented and discussed. We will address the fundamental question, if the dissociation of geminate triplet excitons generated by SF in the organic layer and transfer across the hybrid interface into c-Si is possible.

Martin Liebhaber works on solid state and semiconductor physics and advanced analytics of surfaces and buried interfaces. His current work comprises the preparation and characterization of charge carrier selective hetero contacts on crystalline silicon such as conventional amorphous/crystalline silicon interfaces and hybrid organic/inorganic heterojunctions. Within a joint DAAD research co-operation, he will collaborate with UNSW, working on a multi-exciton generating hybrid device concept.
Since 2013 Martin is a PhD student at Helmholtz Center Berlin (Germany), he received a master degree in physics from the University of Würzburg (Germany) in 2013 and a master degree in optoelectronics and lasers from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh (Great Britain) in 2011. In his spare time Martin is an active hiker, rock climber and sailor.
