HSV2 SWIFT is a 98 metre wave piercing catamaran designed and constructed by the Incat shipyard in Tasmania, Australia. HSV 2 Swift was delivered into United States Navy service in August 2003 and the vessel is now available for sale or charter. HSV 2 Swift was the fourth large vessel that Incat delivered into naval service and it is the eleventh vessel constructed on Incat's successful 96-98 metre hull platform. HSV 2 Swift incorporates an impressive array of capabilities including a top speed of 48 knots, a range of 8,350 nautical miles, a gross tonnage of 5,936 and a helicopter recoveries at 43 knots ship speed and 66 knots apparent wind speed!
