Today, we're just getting started and opening up some shortcuts that should help out new players... and of course talking about some lore as we go. Things get serious tomorrow.... The number one thing for new players to remember is that there's always another angle for every encounter the game throws at you! You just have to find it. Well, that and be quick with the Blood Vials whenever Regain looks dodgy. By the way, sorry if I sound a bit tired here... I had to record this three times thanks to technical issues. I think it's sorted now, so there should be more content tomorrow. Also, the reason it is 720p instead of 1080p is due to my El Gato note being able to handle 1080 (despite its claims). Until I get a different capture device, this is the best I can do. I'm working on it now.

ENB Mods are some of the best Skyrim mods if you ask me. Skyrim is still in 2015 a fantastic game, but the graphics are fading. Therefore it’s wonderful how many mod authors create ENB presets that we can download for free. However, it can be really hard to choose between the different ENB presets… Therefore, I’ve created this comparison video which should hopefully make the choice easier for you. Take note that these ENB’s were extremely hard to choose, and that I tried my best. I looked at comments from the 2014 version and tried to please as many as possible. If you have an ENB which you thought should have made it into this video, feel free to write it in a comment! When I say it can be very hard to choose an ENB, it is not only because of the looks, but also cause the performance is a huge issue. In the top left corner, you can see the fps before the mod was installed, with the mod and also the average for that mod. I personally liked Project ENB, Realvision and Seasons of Skyrim the best. --- WATCH IN HD --- This video showcases 25 ENB presets and aims to highlight the differences between them in varying conditions. There are thousands of other videos on youtube that show off ENB presets for Skyrim but most of these suck for helping you make a decision on what preset you might actually want to use in your own game. Either the person who has made the video is trying to do dumb cinematic things, or they're only showing off outdoor scenes, or they're showing different scenes in different videos about different presets. This video aims to be more scientific in it's approach, directly comparing each preset in the same scenes at the same times of the day. Where multiple options for "fantasy" or "realism" were provided for a preset, the one closest to being "realistic" was used. No lighting or darker dungeon mods were used unless included with the preset or stated as being required by the preset author. Mods recommended by the preset author were ignored. Lens effects were always disabled, otherwise the preset was left as provided by the author. Where not specified, the in game brightness setting was left in the middle of the range fGamma=1.0000. My system is an i5 2500K CPU @ 4.2gGHz and a GTX 970 3.5 Special @1164mHz, plus 16GB system memory. Included by popular request is a frame counter in the top right corner of the screen. Please note that recording video while playing the game (1440p video, no less) does drop the frame rate considerably, so all of these readings are artificially low. They are however still proportional to one another, and can be used as a way of comparing how taxing one preset is to another.
