It's over 200 minutes of groundshaking Goa Trance! 30 tracks, all released on Suntrip Records, which are celebrating their 10th birthday this year!
Feeling very happy & lucky about beeing part of the Suntrip family I decided to create this mix, so this is considered my birthday present to this outstanding label! :)
It contains all my favorites from Suntrip Records but also a few tracks which are included for technical reasons but they are great anyway of course!
They had the correct key and I needed them to make all transitions as harmonic as possible and due to this ALL tracks are mixed in key! :)
What can you expect from this journey? Well, if you know me, you know it already! If not: the very best in melodic & acidic Goa Trance! :)

FAQ:
Why "Progressive Goa" in the title? This is no Goa at all!
- Well, you are correct. This kind of music has nothing to do with Goa (the genre) at all. The thing is, most of my viewers that are looking for this kind of music, are in fact people from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy and so on.... It seems more likely that viewers from my neighbour countries will watch/listen to this video. That's how the algorythm YouTube uses seems to work. I changed the title to Progressive Trance (and that's what it is!) for a few months...but...the majority of people looking for this kind of music, are not searching for Progressive Trance, they are searching for Progressive Goa. So for you guys that are somehow pissed because the music is not what you are looking for, I'll just explain why I chose to call it "Progressive Goa/Trance".
It is Progressive music no doubt about that...but the "Goa" in the title is not meant to be a definition of a specific genre. It's more like: Progressive music in the "Goa" culture in Europe. I understand that some of you guys don't share the same opinion...but there is no genre called "Progressive Goa". Search for Goa...or Goa-Trance or Progressive Psytrance...I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.

Goa trance is a form of electronic music that originated during the late 1980s[citation needed] in Goa, India.
The music has its roots in the popularity of Goa in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a hippie capital, and although musical developments were incorporating elements of industrial music and EBM with the spiritual culture in India throughout the 1980s, the actual Goa trance style did not officially appear until the early 1990s.[citation needed] As the hippie tourist influx tapered off in the 1970s and 1980s, a core group remained in Goa, concentrating on developments in music along with other pursuits such as yoga and recreational drug use. The music that would eventually be known as Goa trance did not evolve from one single genre, but was inspired mainly by EBM-groups like Front Line Assembly, Meat Beat Manifesto, Front 242 and A Split-Second, acid house (The KLF's "What Time Is Love?" in particular), techno, Orbital, and psychedelic rock like Ozric Tentacles, Steve Hillage and Ash Ra Tempel.[citation needed] In addition to those, oriental tribal music/ethnic music also became a source of inspiration.[citation needed] A very early example (1974) of the relation between psychedelic rock and the music that would eventually be known as Goa trance is The Cosmic Jokers' (a collaboration between Ash Ra Tempel and Klaus Schulze) highly experimental and psychedelic album "Galactic Supermarket", which features occasional 4/4 rhythms intertwined with elements from psychedelic rock, analog synthesizers and occasionally tribal-esque drum patterns.[citation needed]

Goa 
i/ˈɡoʊ.ə/ is India's smallest state by area and the fourth smallest by population. It seems more likely that viewers from my neighbour countries will watch/listen to this video. That's how the algorythm YouTube uses seems to work. I changed the title to Progressive Trance (and that's what it is!) for a few months...but...the majority of people looking for this kind of music, are not searching for Progressive Trance, they are searching for Progressive Goa. Even record labels are naming their compilations as Progressive Goa with this kind of Progressive Trance. It's over 200 minutes of groundshaking Goa Trance! 30 tracks, all released on Suntrip Records, which are celebrating their 10th birthday this year!
Feeling very happy & lucky about beeing part of the Suntrip family I decided to create this mix, so this is considered my birthday present to this outstanding label! :)
It contains all my favorites from Suntrip Records but also a few tracks which are included for technical reasons but they are great anyway of course!
They had the correct key and I needed them to make all transitions as harmonic as possible and due to this ALL tracks are mixed in key! :)
What can you expect from this journey? Well, if you know me, you know it already! If not: the very best in melodic & acidic Goa Trance! :)

- Well, you are correct. This kind of music has nothing to do with Goa (the genre) at all. The thing is, most of my viewers that are looking for this kind of music, are in fact people from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy and so on.... It seems more likely that viewers from my neighbour countries will watch/listen to this video. That's how the algorythm YouTube uses seems to work. I changed the title to Progressive Trance (and that's what it is!) for a few months...but...the majority of people looking for this kind of music, are not searching for Progressive Trance, they are searching for Progressive Goa. So for you guys that are somehow pissed because the music is not what you are looking for, I'll just explain why I chose to call it "Progressive Goa/Trance".

I understand that some of you guys don't share the same opinion...but there is no genre called "Progressive Goa".
