The Eucharist /ˈjuːkərɪst/ (also called Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper, and other names) is a rite considered by most Christian churches to be a sacrament. According to the New Testament, it was instituted by Jesus Christ during his Last Supper. Giving his disciples bread and wine during the Passover meal, Jesus commanded his followers to "do this in memory of me" while referring to the bread as "my body" and the wine as "my blood". Through the Eucharistic celebration Christians remember Christ's sacrifice of himself once and for all on the cross.
Christians generally recognize a special presence of Christ in this rite, though they differ about exactly how, where, and when Christ is present. While all agree that there is no perceptible change in the elements, some believe that they actually become the body and blood of Christ, others believe the true body and blood of Christ are really present in, with, and under the bread and wine (whose reality remains unchanged), others believe in a "real" but merely spiritual presence of Christ in the Eucharist, and still others take the act to be only a symbolic reenactment of the Last Supper. Some Protestants view the Eucharist as an ordinance in which the ceremony is seen not as a specific channel of divine grace, but as an expression of faith and of obedience to Christ.

The Monastery of the Holy Eucharist, known as the Simala Shrine or Simala Church is located in Marian Hills, Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga, Cebu. It was built in 1998 by the Marian Monks from Pampanga. It used to be just an ordinary church until after the incidents of miraculous events. when i saw the church, i already thought its just an ordinary church or a chapel maybe. because the main church was so small. but finding out the reason why, it was all because of one miraculous event that happened before, the shedding of tears of the Mother Mary’s image. since then more and more devotees flocked the area. some people even donated things like their graduation pictures, badges of seafarer, even their slings and wheelchair as proof of the miracles that happened to their life and it were all disp...

May the grace and glory of God may be with each of us! Me, my mom and grandma visited the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist in Simala wherein the miraculous Mama Mary is located. This is my second time visiting the monastery, my mom's third time and my grandma's first one. This monastery has lot of mysteries and controversies and is a great place for Marian nuns and open to the public with strict clothing rules. It feels so good to be back here because the first time I went, the right part of the castle-like church was still being constructed and now it's done! Another construction is on process, it is the man-made waterfalls and a pool to serve as a river underneath the statue of Mama Mary outside, facing the entrance of the monastery. My first time of visiting here was two years ago, I al...

Let it rain a day, a week, a year
Let it rain a thousand years a day
That's the divine answer to all the shed tears
That's the cyclic Flood well known by those who know
One drop for every broken dream
and one for every conceived plan
Our seeds sown larger
Our roots will go deeper
Our trees will grow higher and now we wait the rain
Let cry the skies to cleanse the souls
Let fall the seas to wash the pain away
That's the final run to the New Age
That's the first step beyond the threshold of this world
One drop for every broken dream
and one for every conceived plan
Our seeds sown larger
Our roots will go deeper
Our trees will grow higher and now we call the rain
Here rings a warning
A day of wrath for all the days of war
A storm of fury
to calm the hunger left
Our seeds sown larger
Our roots will go deeper
Our trees will grow higher and now we bring the rain
Our seeds - larger
Our roots - deeper
