The fineness of a precious metal refers to the ratio by weight of the primary metal to any added base metals or impurities. Many precious metals are used in the form of alloys. Other metals are added to increase hardness, to make the metal more practical for use in such items as coins and jewelry, or to decrease the cost of the alloy. For example, copper is added to the precious metal silver to make a more durable alloy for use in coins, housewares and jewelry. Coin silver, which was used for making silver coins in the past, contains 90% silver and 10% copper, by mass. Sterling silver contains 92.5% silver and 7.5%, by mass, of other metals, usually copper.
Various ways of expressing fineness have been used and two remain in common use: millesimal fineness expressed in units of parts per 1,000 and karats used only for gold. Karats measure the parts per 24, so that 18 karat = 18/24 = 75% and 24 karat gold is considered 100% gold.
Millesimal fineness is a system of denoting the purity of platinum, gold and silver alloys by parts per thousand of pure metal by mass in the alloy. For example, an alloy containing 75% gold is denoted as "750". Many European countries use decimal hallmark stamps (i.e. '585', '750', etc.) rather than '14K', '18K', etc., which is used in the United Kingdom and United States.
Enemy or foe is an individual or a group that is seen as forcefully adverse or threatening. The concept of an enemy has been observed to be "basic for both individuals and communities". The term "enemy" serves the social function of designating a particular entity as a threat, thereby invoking an intense emotional response to that entity. The state of being or having an enemy is enmity, foehood or foeship.
As for the etymology the term enemy is derived from Latin language for 'bad friend' (Latin: inimicus). "Enemy" is a strong word, and "emotions associated with the enemy would include anger, hatred, frustration, envy, jealousy, fear, distrust, and possibly grudging respect". As a political concept, an enemy is likely to be met with hate, violence, battle and war. The opposite of an enemy is a friend or ally. Because the term "the enemy" is a bit bellicose and militaristic to use in polite society, informal substitutes are more often used. Often the substituted terms become pejoratives in the context that they are used. In any case, the designation of an "enemy" exists solely to denote the status of a particular group of people as a threat, and to propagate this designation within the local context. Substituted terms for an enemy often go further to meaningfully identify a known group as an enemy, and to pejoratively frame that identification. A government may seek to represent a person or group as a threat to the public good by designating that person or group to be a public enemy.
"No Enemiesz" is a song by Canadian recording artist Kiesza from her debut studio album, Sound of a Woman (2014). Lokal Legend Records will release the song as the third single from the album in the United Kingdom on November 10, 2014. Kiesza co-wrote "No Enemiesz" with the track's producer Rami Samir Afuni. A deep house and Eurodance song, "No Enemiesz" consists of a prominent retro house beat, bleary bass and a bouncy, grinding groove.
Upon its release, "No Enemiesz" was acclaimed by music critics, who praised the track's euphoric chorus and '90s-inspired production. Some went on to deem the single as Kiesza's best to-date and compared it to Robyn and Kleerup's "With Every Heartbeat" (2007). Kiesza has performed the song at gigs in the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany, in which she incorporated a dance routine reminiscent of Madonna's "Vogue" (1990).
"No Enemiesz" was written by Kiesza and Rami Samir Afuni, and produced by the latter. On September 12, 2014 Kiesza posted a snippet of the song on her Facebook page, the full version of the song then leaked online hours before its premiere on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show that evening. Prior to its premiere, Kiesza performed "No Enemiesz" live on several occasions since June 4, 2014, where it became recognized as a "fan favorite". The track was uploaded to Kiesza's Vevo page on September 17, 2014. It was released on November 17, 2014 as the third single from Kiesza's debut album, Sound of a Woman (2014).

techno MISS DJAX Miss Djax is the alias of Saskia Slegers. Not only an excellent deejay, but also the founder of Djax Records in 1989. Djax (and its variety of sub-labels) must undoubtedly be considered as one of the most important dance labels in the world. At the back of the book '1989 - 1999 Djax Records The Power of the Underground' James Hymann, (MTV Europe) calls it 'one of the decade's crucial labels' and further 'one of the world's most talked about labels'. No surprise then, Djax received many awards being best record label. The first signing of Djax Records was the hardcore rap act 24K (No Enemies 1990). A couple of months later the first techno release (Terrace - 916 Buena Avenue) followed on the famous Djax-Up-Beats label. The year 1991 can be looked at as the starting...
