《踏血尋梅》改編自2008年香港駭人聽聞的兇殺案件，導演翁子光回憶起在電視上看到這則震撼香港社會的新聞，而當時，媒體用聳動的方式大肆描繪凶案現場、屍體、殺手性格，但卻沒人提到「為什麼？」這也促成了他決定以有別於過往大家習慣的警匪片、謀殺推理片故事公式，量身打造出前所未見的全新犯罪懸疑片型，在《踏血尋梅》裡，兇手是誰並非重點，導演甚至一開始就開宗明義直接告訴觀眾誰是兇手，重點反倒是整個事件發生的動機及脈絡，「兇手為什麼會成為兇手？為什麼會發生這樣的案件？這些對很多人來說好像都不重要，他們只關心兇手是誰以及是誰被害了，但這些卻是我很想知道的。」翁子光以不同的視角，深刻描繪出現今香港底層年輕世代對於社會的失落與存在價值感，戲劇張力十足，「不問兇手是誰，只問為什麼！」

Recipe: 1 oz Gordon’s Gin; 1 oz Ruby Port; .75 lemon juice; .5 Cinnabark Syrup; bar spoon homemade cranberry preserves. Shake and strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a raspberry and mint sprig.
I'm going to show you a drink I created called Port of Call. I wanted this drink to evoke the holiday season, but also be something really refreshing and easy to drink, because I feel like during the colder months people tend to reach for really stiff brown liquor and I didn't think that that had to necessarily had to be the way all the time. So I thought I would start with some ingredients that often are used in cooking on the holidays. The first one I went for was cranberries. Instead of using cranberry juice, I went with cranberry preserves or cranberry jam. So it'll give the drinks a nice viscosity, but also still get that really rich cranberry flavor in there.
Then we're going to add half an ounce of cinnamon simple syrup. Cinnamon simple syrup is really easy to make. It's just your regular simple syrup, one part sugar to one part water, and then you want to crush up some cinnamon sticks and maybe simmer on the stove for 10 minutes or something. You don't even want to reduce, just something to get that cinnamon flavor in there, and believe me it will get in there. Cinnamon is really potent. So you're going to balance out that cranberry sweetness and the cinnamon sweetness with lemon juice, three-quarters of an ounce of that. Just a simple sour template. And now I'm going to add one ounce of gin to give it some backbone, and finally we've got our gin there.
Some ruby port, because I didn't call it the Port of Call for nothing. I was very proud of myself when I came up with that pun. I probably shouldn't have been though. One ounce of port and we're ready to shake. Okay, let's actually put some ice in our glass first, so we can strain it right away. That cinnamon really comes through. I love how the fruit from the cranberry and the spice in the juniper, the spice from the cinnamon just really mix so well together. That's the ideal thing you're looking for in a cocktail. You want it to be greater than the sum of its parts, and I definitely think that this drink achieves that. And just for fun, let's give this a nice, lavish garnish of a little bit of mint, maybe a couple raspberries for a real festive look. And that is how you make a Port of Call.

Aaron Kwok Fu-shing (born 26 October 1965) is a Hong Kong singer, dancer and actor. He has been active since the 1980s to the present. The media refer to him, Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau and Leon Lai as the Cantopop Four Heavenly Kings (四大天王). Kwok's onstage dancing and displays is influenced by Michael Jackson. While most of his songs are in the dance-pop genre, he has experimented numerous times with rock and roll, ballad, rock, R&B, soul, electronica and traditional Chinese music.
Kwok graduated from Joseph's College in Hong Kong. After graduating from secondary school, Kwok worked as a junior staff in King Fook Gold & Jewellery Co. Ltd. His father, who owns a small gold retail store, desired that he gain experience in the business with the view of eventually handing the family business over to him. If not for one of Kwok's brothers taking over the gold business, his father would not have allowed him to join the entertainment industry.
Kwok has been in a serious relationship with Chinese-born actress Lynn Hung since 2006.

You don't even want to reduce, just something to get that cinnamon flavor in there, and believe me it will get in there. Cinnamon is really potent. So you're going to balance out that cranberry sweetness and the cinnamon sweetness with lemon juice, three-quarters of an ounce of that. Just a simple sour template. And now I'm going to add one ounce of gin to give it some backbone, and finally we've got our gin there. Some ruby port, because I didn't call it the Port of Call for nothing. I was very proud of myself when I came up with that pun. I probably shouldn't have been though. One ounce of port and we're ready to shake. Okay, let's actually put some ice in our glass first, so we can strain it right away. That cinnamon really comes through. I love how the fruit from the cranberry and the spice in the juniper, the spice from the cinnamon just really mix so well together. That's the ideal thing you're looking for in a cocktail. You want it to be greater than the sum of its parts, and I definitely think that this drink achieves that. And just for fun, let's give this a nice, lavish garnish of a little bit of mint, maybe a couple raspberries for a real festive look. And that is how you make a Port of Call.

Recipe: 1 oz Gordon’s Gin; 1 oz Ruby Port; .75 lemon juice; .5 Cinnabark Syrup; bar spoon homemade cranberry preserves. Shake and strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a raspberry and mint sprig.
I'm going to show you a drink I created called Port of Call. I wanted this drink to evoke the holiday season, but also be something really refreshing and easy to drink, because I feel like during the colder months people tend to reach for really stiff brown liquor and I didn't think that that had to necessarily had to be the way all the time. So I thought I would start with some ingredients that often are used in cooking on the holidays. The first one I went for was cranberries. Instead of using cranberry juice, I went with cranberry preserves or cranberry jam. So it'll give the drinks a nice viscosity, but also still get that really rich cranberry flavor in there.
Then we're going to add half an ounce of cinnamon simple syrup. Cinnamon simple syrup is really easy to make. It's just your regular simple syrup, one part sugar to one part water, and then you want to crush up some cinnamon sticks and maybe simmer on the stove for 10 minutes or something. You don't even want to reduce, just something to get that cinnamon flavor in there, and believe me it will get in there. Cinnamon is really potent. So you're going to balance out that cranberry sweetness and the cinnamon sweetness with lemon juice, three-quarters of an ounce of that. Just a simple sour template. And now I'm going to add one ounce of gin to give it some backbone, and finally we've got our gin there.
Some ruby port, because I didn't call it the Port of Call for nothing. I was very proud of myself when I came up with that pun. I probably shouldn't have been though. One ounce of port and we're ready to shake. Okay, let's actually put some ice in our glass first, so we can strain it right away. That cinnamon really comes through. I love how the fruit from the cranberry and the spice in the juniper, the spice from the cinnamon just really mix so well together. That's the ideal thing you're looking for in a cocktail. You want it to be greater than the sum of its parts, and I definitely think that this drink achieves that. And just for fun, let's give this a nice, lavish garnish of a little bit of mint, maybe a couple raspberries for a real festive look. And that is how you make a Port of Call.

I have carefully removed some of the lengthy chase sequences and have had a little tidy of when actors look at the camera and fluff their lines. We visited Santorini Greece while on a Mediterranean cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's newly revitalized and upgraded Serenade of the Seas cruise ship. Having been on a Royal Caribbean Radiance class ship before I had no hesitation booking on the Serenade. Santorini Island is one of the most interesting and unique places in the world to visit. It's whitewashed villages hang on to the cliff edges of what is an active volcano 147 miles southeast of Athens Greece.
Santorini Island was the setting for the 1982 movie "Summer Lovers" which showcases much of the best of Santorini including the narrow shopping arcades, beaches and Santorini's legendary nightlife. The movie starred Peter Gallagher, Daryl Hannah & Valérie Quennessen. Sadly the French actress Valerie Quennessen was killed a few years later in a car accident west of Paris.
Some people believe Santorini is actually the Mythical "Atlantis" mentioned in Ancient Greek accounts of an ancient advanced civilization. Santorini's Volcano last erupted over 3,500 years ago. When the Volcano erupted it blew away the majority of the island and wiped out the people not just on the island but on neighboring islands. The eruption sent a huge Tsunami wave in all directions washing over and islands such as Crete.

Visiting Santorini is a special experience from the moment you pull into the Harbor until you sail away. We visited Santorini Greece while on a Mediterranean cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's newly revitalized and upgraded Serenade of the Seas cruise ship. Having been on a Royal Caribbean Radiance class ship before I had no hesitation booking on the Serenade. Santorini Island is one of the most interesting and unique places in the world to visit. It's whitewashed villages hang on to the cliff edges of what is an active volcano 147 miles southeast of Athens Greece.
Santorini Island was the setting for the 1982 movie "Summer Lovers" which showcases much of the best of Santorini including the narrow shopping arcades, beaches and Santorini's legendary nightlife. The movie starred Peter Gallagher, Daryl Hannah & Valérie Quennessen. Sadly the French actress Valerie Quennessen was killed a few years later in a car accident west of Paris.
Some people believe Santorini is actually the Mythical "Atlantis" mentioned in Ancient Greek accounts of an ancient advanced civilization. Santorini's Volcano last erupted over 3,500 years ago. When the Volcano erupted it blew away the majority of the island and wiped out the people not just on the island but on neighboring islands. The eruption sent a huge Tsunami wave in all directions washing over and islands such as Crete.
