Plot: Charlotte and James Proulx, a newly married couple in 1941, deal with James's approaching departure to fight in World War II. After leaving her his father's watch, and a promise that he will return to hear her sing, James goes to join the front lines. While he is away, Charlotte becomes an overnight sensation, singing in front of hundreds of people. James surprises her with a quick return before one of her concerts, but after Charlotte finishes the number, James just looks on sadly. The home life of the newlyweds becomes tense, and comes to a head in a one-sided argument. Leaving the heated discussion to answer the door, Charlotte discovers from Mayor Cook and British officer Ian Wood that James was discharged from battle with a Purple Heart. A flashback reveals that James was deafened by an explosion, leaving him unable to ever hear his wife sing again. They tearfully embrace, knowing things will never be the same.
Genres: Drama, Romance, Short, War,What’s up guys, This video is really exciting to me personally because not only is it the second official release off of my dance mixtape “Adultlessons : The World’s First Dance Mixtape”…but it is ALSO the first feature off of the mixtape. Within it being a feature I looked at musicians and their collaborations and how they both adapt their style to usually meet somewhere in the middle for their collaborators music. I thought this was a great version of one of my choreography videos with the feeling of a Megan Batoon sketch, hence the “feat.” like musical artists. We are quite the team if you ask me…it’s just really fun. I know that it’s literally only been a week since my last post and last time I kept you guys waiting for another 4 months before I posted something new but the stars were...
Oil expert Sir Ian Wood talks to Proactive Investors about the Scottish referendum result, fracking, and the future of the UK oil industry. Sir Ian, one of the most well-respected voices in the industry, recently hit the headlines for accusing former Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond of misleading voters about the North Sea’s prospects ahead of the referendum.
Sir Ian Wood stated in an interview with the BBC as he retired from Chairmanship of the Wood Group that we could still produce another 25 billion barrels of oil. His words not ours. "As far back as I can remember in terms of UK industrial activity, every year oil and gas has been way ahead of any other industry." "We've produced 41 billion barrels," he said. "If you look ahead, we could still produce another 25 billion barrels - at $100 a barrel, that's $2,500bn. "If we don't get it right, we'll produce about half that - we could lose $1,250bn of economic contribution to the UK.

"SONGS FROM THE WOOD" (1977) is the tenth studio album by Jethro Tull and considered to be the first of a trio of folk rock albums - (Songs from the Wood, Heavy Horses, and Stormwatch) despite the fact that folk elements are present in the work of Jethro Tull both before and after the trilogy. "SONGS FROM THE WOOD" was the first Tull album to receive unambiguously positive reviews since the time of Thick as a Brick (1972). Filled with folk and fantasy imagery, and ornamental folk arrangement, the album is a departure from the hard rock of earlier Tull material, though it still retained some of the band's older sound. The album reached No.8 on the Billboard album chart, making it the last top ten album for the band to date. The song "The Whistler" was the only song to chart as a single in...

I know a place
Where the dogs ain't barking
I know a place
Where the sun don't shine
I know a place
Where the ghosts do the talking
In the back of my mind
In the back of my mind
I know a place
Little thirteen year old cousin
Blood running high
Got a knife in his hand
No daddy would do
Those things to his mama
So he opened that blade
And he stuck that man
I know a place
I know a place
I know a place
And it goes no further
Than where you are
When you leave it behind
One piece of advice
From one son to another
Get out of your mind
Get out of your mind
I know a place
