Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue: http://amzn.to/2aoQZx8 Allen Edmonds Dalton: http://amzn.to/2acvJrf Allen Edmonds Rogue: http://amzn.to/2amjOKz I wish someone would have told me this earlier: If you wear dress shoes every day you really should consider investing in a couple of pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes. The initial cost is high, yes, but the longevity and old-world build quality these dress shoes offer is so rare these days. Also rare, is the fact that Allen Edmonds makes their shoes in the united states. It doesn't hurt that these are some of the most comfortable and handsome dress shoes I've ever warn (warning: they will be uncomfortable for the first couple of months). I enjoy rather than loathe every wear. Imagine if shoes were no longer a consumable. That's what we're talking about h...

A shoe review : Allen Edmonds "Park Avenue" Cap-Toe Oxfords. A classic AND classy shoe made by one of the few remaining companies which still make men's dress footwear in America. From allenedmonds.com: "Whether it's the timeless architecture of New York's dramatic Chrysler Building or the boundless utility of a Swiss Army Knife, you just can't improve upon some ideas. For that same reason we celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the sleek design of our Park Avenue in 2010, continually one of Allen Edmonds' best sellers and the Inauguration Day footwear choice for Presidents Reagan, H.W. Bush, Clinton and G.W. Bush. Guaranteed to make a dramatic impression, this cap-toe balmoral combines a classic silhouette with unsurpassed craftsmanship to convey the serious presence necessary for anyone ...
Showing some shoes you might be interested in. I like the look of these. There will be a full review of these shoes at a later date. The Balmoral hotel is found in Edinburgh, Scotland. Top Gear famously raced a train, bike and car to this hotel.
http://www.allenedmonds.com/recrafting - Take an inside look at the Allen Edmonds Recrafting process. We begin by replacing soles, heels, welting, cork footbeds and laces. Next, we completely refinish the uppers, hand-polishing the leather to a vibrant glow. Finally, we add aromatic cedar shoe trees and place shoes in protective shoe bags. The results are nothing short of remarkable.
Take a look at how Allen Edmonds shoes were made back in the late 1940's. This 16mm film shows how Allen Edmonds shoes were made back in the 1940's. Not much has changed over the years! Special thanks to the Allen family.

*this Merlot color is not new - I thought it was. Call it a brogue cap toe Balmoral or Oxford, the Fifth Avenue by Allen Edmonds is a very versatile design. The closed throat offers hints of a more formal nature while the light Broguing lands it perfectly into the "social standout" sweet spot. This is their old Merlot color. I would say it is a brown-purple color. Side by side with the oxblood shoes in the store, these are darker and not as red. More on this shoe and other in future videos. please subscribe.
