Claudia Alta Taylor "Lady Bird" Johnson (December 22, 1912 – July 11, 2007) was First Lady of the United States (1963–69), as the wife of the 36th President of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson.
Notably well-educated for a woman of her era, she proved a capable manager and a shrewd investor. After marrying LBJ in 1934 when he was a political hopeful in Austin, Texas, she used a modest inheritance to bankroll his congressional campaign, and then ran his office while he served in the navy. Next, she bought a radio station and then a TV station, which soon made them millionaires. As First Lady, she broke new ground by interacting directly with Congress, employing her own press secretary, and making a solo electioneering tour.
Lady Bird Johnson was a lifelong advocate for beautifying the nation's cities and highways ("Where flowers bloom, so does hope") and the Highway Beautification Act was informally known as Lady Bird's Bill. She was a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest US civilian honors. She is a descendant of Rowland Taylor through his grandson Captain Thomas J. Taylor, II.
The Coccinellidae (/ˌkɒksɪˈnɛlɪdaɪ/) are a family of small beetles, ranging from 0.8 to 18 mm (0.0315 to 0.708 inches). They are commonly yellow, orange, or red with small black spots on their wing covers, with black legs, heads and antennae. Such colour patterns vary greatly, however; for example, a minority of species, such as Vibidia duodecimguttata, a twelve-spotted species, have whitish spots on a brown background. Coccinellids are found worldwide, with over 6,000 species described.
Coccinellidae are known as ladybugs in North America, and ladybirds in other areas. Entomologists in the United States widely prefer the names ladybird beetles or lady beetles as these insects are not true bugs.
The Coccinellidae are generally considered useful insects, because many species feed on aphids or scale insects, which are pests in gardens, agricultural fields, orchards, and similar places. Within the colonies of such plant-eating pests, they will lay hundreds of eggs, and when these hatch, the larvae will commence feeding immediately. However, some species do have unwelcome effects; among these, the most prominent are the subfamily Epilachninae, which are plant eaters. Usually, Epilachninae are only mild agricultural pests, eating the leaves of grain, potatoes, beans, and various other crops, but their numbers can increase explosively in years when their natural enemies, such as parasitoid wasps that attack their eggs, are few. In such situations, they can do major crop damage. They occur in practically all the major crop-producing regions of temperate and tropical countries.
Home Place or Homeplace may refer to:
A retirement home – sometimes called an old people's home, although this term can also refer to a nursing home – is a multi-residence housing facility intended for senior citizens. Typically, each person or couple in the home has an apartment-style room or suite of rooms. Additional facilities are provided within the building. This can include facilities for meals, gatherings, recreation activities, and some form of health or hospice care. A place in a retirement home can be paid for on a rental basis, like an apartment, or can be bought in perpetuity on the same basis as a condominium.
A retirement home differs from a nursing home primarily in the level of medical care given. Retirement communities, unlike retirement homes, offer separate and autonomous homes for residents.
The number of retirement homes has been increasing in the United States, from almost 11,000 in 2003 to 12,000 in 2010. The market size for retirement homes has had a much greater growth rate, from $13.5 billion in 2005 to $17 billion in 2010, with California being the American state with the largest market size.
In film, a medium shot, mid shot (MS), or waist shot is a camera angle shot from a medium distance.
Medium shots are favored in sequences where dialogues or a small group of people are acting, as they give the viewer a partial view of the background and also show the subjects' facial expressions in the context of their body language. Medium shots are also used when the subject in the shot is delivering information, such as news presenters. It is also used in interviews. It is the most common shot in movies, and it usually follows the first establishing shots of a new scene or location. The first film director to use medium shots as well as close-ups effectively to develop the story was D. W. Griffith.John Ford also used medium shots liberally in his films.
A normal lens that sees what the human eye see, is usually used for medium shots.
The dividing line between what constitutes a long shot and medium shot is not definite, nor is the line between medium shot and close-up. In some standard texts and professional references, a full-length view of a human subject is called a medium shot; in this terminology, a shot of the person from the knees up or the waist up is a close-up shot. In other texts, these partial views are called medium shots. In principal, the medium shot is what can be seen with the human eye in a single quick glance and convey all the action taking place in that field of view.

LATELY I'VE BEEN HEARIN' LOTS OF RUMORS
ABOUT YOUNG JUNIOR'S REAL IDENTITY
SOMEONE ELSES WOOD MIXED IN OUR WOOD PILE
AND YOU LIKE TO STOKE THE FIRE AFTER I LEAVE
NOW I HAVE HAD MY DOUBT AND MY SUSPICION
CAUSE JUNIOR WASN'T HARD TO RECOGNIZE
WHEN WE FIRST BROUGHT HIM HOME TO MEET THE NEIGHBORS
THEY SAID THAT BABY'S GOT THE MILKMAN'S EYES
CHORUS
I KNOW JUNIOR'S GOT THE MILKMAN'S EYES
THIS TIME I AINT BELIEVIN’ NO MORE LIES
I'M LEAVING YOU
THERE AINT NO ALIBIS
I KNOW JUNIORS GOT THE MILKMAN'S EYES
I'VE GOT LIGHT BLUE EYES JUST LIKE MY DADDY
YOU'VE GOT DARK BROWN EYE'S JUST LIKE YOUR MOM
THAT BABY’S EYES ARE GREEN AND SLIGHTLY SLANTED
LIKE THAT MILKMAN THAT COMES BY WHEN I'M NOT HOME
SO HONEY GO AND GET YOURSELF A LAWYER
‘CAUSE THERE'S NO WAY THAT WE CAN RECONCILE
JUNIOR CRY'S ALL NIGHT WITHOUT HIS BOTTLE
AND MILKS THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES HIM SMILE
CHORUS
I'M LEAVING YOU
THERE AINT NO ALIBIS
I KNOW JUNIORS GOT THE MILKMAN'S EYES
