Gurdeep Kohli

Gurdeep Kohli is an Indian TV actress, known for her popular roles as Dr. Juhi Singh in Star TV's Sanjivani , Vedika on Zee TV's Sindoor Tere Naam Ka and Himani Singh on Disney Channel's Best of Luck Nikki.

Biography

Gurdeep is of Punjabi descent. She was born in a Sikh family.

After years of working on television and as a model, Gurdeep married Arjun Punj on 10 December 2006, her co-star from Sanjivani.

Career

Gurdeep started her career as a model for advertisements on Indian television. The most important role in her career was Dr. Juhi Singh on Sanjivani which earned her accolades. She later worked in Zee TV's Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka. She was part of STAR One's Jet Set Go and Nach Baliye 2 with her husband Arjun Punj. Later on she appeared in Kasamh Se as Pronita Mitra, who later turns out to be Bani Jai Walia. She was seen in Best Of Luck Nikki as Hemani Singh. She is hosting her own cooking program named Bacha Party and ABC (All 'Bout Cooking) on Zee Khana Khazana. She portrayed the character of Dr. Juhi Singh in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (KSBKBT) and Sanjivani on Star TV. Gurdeep debuted in a Bollywood film with Rowdy Rathore, which was directed by Prabhu Deva. She is playing negative roles in Star Plus's show Diya Aur Baati Hum and in Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane on Sony TV.

Arjun Punj

Arjun Punj is an Indian television and film actor. Punj is notable for played the antagonist roles as Dr. Aman in Star Tv's show in long running telenovela Sanjivani.

Disney Princess

Disney Princess is a media franchise owned by The Walt Disney Company. Created by Disney Consumer Products chairman Andy Mooney in the early 2000s, the franchise features a line-up of fictional female protagonists who have appeared in various Disney franchises.

The franchise does not, as its name might suggest, include all princess characters from the whole of Disney-owned media, but rather refers to specific characters from the company's animated films. As of 2015 the eleven characters considered part of the franchise are Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida. "Standing in line in the arena [of a Disney on Ice show], I was surrounded by little girls dressed head to toe as princesses...They weren’t even Disney products. They were generic princess products they’d appended to a Halloween costume. And the light bulb went off. Clearly there was latent demand here. So the next morning I said to my team, "'O.K., let’s establish standards and a color palette and talk to licensees and get as much product out there as we possibly can that allows these girls to do what they’re doing anyway: projecting themselves into the characters from the classic movies.'"

Gauri Pradhan Tejwani

Gauri Pradhan Tejwani is an Indian businesswoman, former model turned and Indian television actress best known for playing the roles of Gauri Mittal in Kutumb and Nandini Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She is currently playing the character of Falguni Harshad Parekh in the tele-series Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi.

Early life and education

Gauri Pradhan was born in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Her father Major Subhash Vasudeo Pradhan is a retired Indian Army Officer and her mother Asha is a homemaker. Pradhan is the second of three siblings; her older brother Bharat, is a petrochemical engineer, while her younger sister Geetanjali, is a M.D. Pradhan is the only one in her family to have pursued modelling and acting as a career.

Her childhood was spent travelling throughout the country owing to the nature of her father's job. As a result she studied in different schools, one of them was the Carmel Convent School in Udhampur. After her father's retirement, the family settled in Pune (Maharashtra), where she attended Sir Parshurambhau College for a course in BSc (Electronics). Later she enrolled for a course in psychology from an institute affiliated with London University.
