We have a position available as 3CR's Current Affairs Coordinator. The role of Current Affairs Coordinator is to maintain and resource current affairs programming blocks and special broadcasts at 3CR as detailed in the attached position description.  This is a part-time (25 hours per week) position until April 2017. Breaking The Chains

Join this free public event on UN Human Rights Day on Wednesday 10 December to advocate for the human rights of people with mental health issues. The program will include a screening of the documentary Breaking the Chains (Director, Dr Erminia Colucci), music by various artists, presentations and a panel discussion dedicated to human rights in mental health. This event is being supported by 3CR’s Brainwaves and the Mental Illness Fellowship.

Disability Day on 3CR!

Wednesday 3 December is International Day of People with Disability, and 3CR is celebrating with 12 hours of disability resistance, culture and pride. We’ll have a Big Bold Breakfast with Phin and Daniel from The Boldness, and disability day shows from Brainwaves, Small Talk, Radical Australia and Refugee Radio.

Farewell Dear Comrade Bill

We are sad to announce our much loved comrade Bill Deller passed away peacefully on Friday 17 October.

3CR Film Fundraiser

Bring your friends for a movie night out at 3CR’s screening of the new political comedy ‘Pride’ on Thursday 6 November. Set in the Margaret Thatcher’s England in the summer of 84, ‘Pride’ is the story of how a London-based group of gay and lesbian activists join forces with the National Union of Mineworkers to raise money to support the strikers' families. 

Beyond the Bars CD Launch

3CR is very proud to announce the launch of the Beyond the Bars 2014 CD. The 2014 CD is a selection of songs, poems, raps, stories and conversations from Aboriginal men and women inside 6 Victorian prisons broadcast during NAIDOC week. The launch will feature excerpts from the CD, live music and a panel discussion MC'd by Beyond the Bars founding member, Kutcha Edwards.
