Synthetic Oil Plant. MS Looking at NW side of a large Naptha tank located S-SW of the First Vacuum Distillation Plant, showing a method of using three rows of sand filled 55 gallon metal drums and earth fill as a method of riveting large storage tanks. MCU Of the method of using 55 gallon drums for earth containers in building a revetment. The four drums extending above the reveted surface do not contain earth since they provide easy access to the tank valves which are located at the bottom of the cylindrical pipe which is formed by placing a series of drums one on top of another. The detonation of the bomb caused collapse of the first floor which crashed down on operating equipment on the ground floor. Reinforced concrete walls were displaced and secondary fires resulted, probably from fragmentation. This kerosene plant is located S-SW of the polymerization plant.
