Mami Kawada
Mami Kawada (川田 まみ, Kawada Mami, born February 13) is a Japanese pop singer who is signed to NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan and is a member of I've Sound, a musical group which produces soundtracks for eroge (erotic games) and anime. Born and raised in Sapporo, Japan, Kawada made her musical debut in 2001 after being discovered by her music teacher Eiko Shimamiya with the release of the song "Kaze to Kimi o Daite". She released her first single, a split-single with musician Kotoko, in 2002, and her first solo single was released in 2005. Her first album, Seed, was released in 2006. She first performed overseas in Taiwan in 2007 and later appeared at the Bangkok Comic Con in Thailand in 2014.
Kawada's songs have been featured as theme music for various anime shows such as the Shakugan no Shana and A Certain Magical Index series. She has performed theme songs for various eroge such as Love, Election and Chocolate and Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue. She has also written songs for other musicians. During the LisAni 2016 event, Kawada announced her retirement from singing following a final concert in May 2016.

My Top 100 Anime Openings of All Time
This is just my opinion so feel free to comment, rank or ask me anything. This is my biggest top to date, hope u enjoy it. I rank the OPs solely based on the musical aspect, which means only the the artist/band and their performance mathers. Im an open person to any kind of musical genre as u can see, but i do have my inclinations, such as an agressive/energetic rock song or an emotional or upbeat pop(altough this one is more noticeable in my topEDs). Old songs aren't my cup of tea, mainly due to the weird vocals and style. I prefer the rock turn anison suffered. That being said, theres some exceptions but dont expect something from the 80s/70s. I rank the OPs solely based on the musical aspect, which means only the the artist/band and their performance mathers.
Im an open person to any kind of musical genre as u can see, but i do have my inclinations, such as an agressive/energetic rock song or an emotional or upbeat pop(altough this one is more noticeable in my topEDs). Old songs aren't my cup of tea, mainly due to the weird vocals and style. I prefer the rock turn anison suffered. That being said, theres some exceptions but dont expect something from the 80s/70s.

These are my top 200 anime openings. I went through a lot of openings and collected the openings i thought deserved a spot in this list.
I added in HM's (honorable mentions) to clarify some entries that were very close to making it. These HM's are not in order but are a few songs people might be looking for.
Please do keep in mind that i love EVERY single song in this including a LOT of songs that did not make this list. If your favourite is low, remember that i still love that opening.
I just liked some other openings more. The second thing is obvious but remember that this is my opinion.
I am fine with you commenting your opinion and am very interested to read it however please do not attack me if you thought and opening was too low or didn't make it.
My taste is pretty generic/modern so please don't expect too many openings that are out of the ordinary.

These are my top 200 anime openings. I went through a lot of openings and collected the openings i thought deserved a spot in this list.
I added in HM's (honorable mentions) to clarify some entries that were very close to making it. These HM's are not in order but are a few songs people might be looking for.
Please do keep in mind that i love EVERY single song in this including a LOT of songs that did not make this list. If your favourite is low, remember that i still love that opening.
I just liked some other openings more. The second thing is obvious but remember that this is my opinion.
I am fine with you commenting your opinion and am very interested to read it however please do not attack me if you thought and opening was too low or didn't make it.
My taste is pretty generic/modern so please don't expect too many openings that are out of the ordinary.
