Susanna Hall (baptised 26 May 1583 – 11 July 1649), née Shakespeare, was the oldest child of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway, and the older sister of Judith Quiney and Hamnet Shakespeare. She married John Hall, a local physician, in 1607. They had one daughter, named as Elizabeth, in 1608.
Susanna was baptised on 26 May 1583—which that year fell on Trinity Sunday, a church feast—in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon.
Shakespeare's wife Anne was already pregnant with Susanna when the couple were married. The name "Susanna" derives from the story of Susanna and the elders in Book of Daniel and suggests "purity and spotlessness", and had associations that appealed to the Puritans. It first appeared in Stratford parish registers in 1574, so the name was still rather novel, but it was shared by two other children born that spring. As such it may have been an assertion of virtue for a child born "perilously close to the wrong side of marriage" as the historian Peter Ackroyd put it.
Susanne Aartun Sundfør (Norwegian pronunciation: [sʉˈsan̪ːə ˈɔʁ̞tun ˈsunføʁ̞]) (born 19 March 1986) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. She is the granddaughter of linguist Kjell Aartun. She was born in Haugesund and later moved to Oslo. She has released six studio albums. Three of which, The Brothel (2010), The Silicone Veil (2012) and Ten Love Songs (2015), have reached number one in Norway. Her sixth, Ten Love Songs, was released on 16 February 2015.
When Sundfør was 12 she started taking singing lessons. After attending a music high school, Sundfør began making music as a hobby. Her first release was the 2006 single "Walls", which peaked at number three in the Norwegian singles chart. Her debut self-titled album was released in 2007 and peaked at number three in the Norwegian album chart. The album's second and last single "I Resign" was released in 2007.
In January 2008, Sundfør covered Bob Dylan's "Masters of War" at Store Studio, NRK. The following month, she was awarded Spellemannprisen for best female performance. She spurred nationwide debate when she, upon receiving the prize, said, "I am first and foremost an artist, not first and foremost a woman". By this, she was referring to a chauvinist introduction of the 2008 female nominees in the context of an ongoing debate whether having a gender-differentiated "artist of the year" prize was archaic or not. That same month, Sundfør appeared with a track on Mette-Marit, Crown Princess of Norway's album Sorgen og Gleden (The Sorrow and the Joy). Sundfør's contribution was the Norwegian folktune/psalm "Ingen Vinner Frem til Den Evige Ro" (No One Reaches the Eternal Calm), by Lars Linderot and Gustav Jensen.

"White Foxes" is a song by Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør, released as the lead single of her 2012 album The Silicone Veil. It was initially recorded for the Norwegian-Swedish film Verden Venter, which arrived in theatres in late 2013. It is used in a trailer for the police drama Line of Duty on BBC 2.
According to Sundfør, the single is a "love song" about "wanting to be peaceful;" to her, the "most idealic" place to cleanse oneself is in the "middle of nowhere," where the only thing one can see are snow and white foxes. Sundfør believed that these produced "a nice image". Sundfør and Lars Horntveth served as the song's producers. It was initially recorded for the Norwegian-Swedish film Verden Venter, which has a release date in late 2013.
While writing the song, Sundfør developed a "basic melody and basic chords." It opens with a "dark piano melody" that comes to include "menacing vocals." The BBC characterizes it as an "invasively electronic track" that features soaring vocals accompanied by "meaty synthesisers and heavy electronics." The song has also been described by IndieWire as "pretty spiritual," as "most of its lyrics talk about the apocalypse, love, faith, death, earth, and everything in between." In a review of the song, Pitchfork Media noted the presence of a "foggy bassline" as "the drum line lopes steady behind" Sundfør's "high and tense" voice.

Breaking through the waves again, floating by the waters edge
where I lay my mind to rest, sun beats down on my face,
harsh south-east blows in the trees, no footprints in the sand,
feel like I'm the only one on this earth, so at ease,
and this day, seasonal. Winter fade, seasonal.
This is a time to renew, clean the slate, wash away,
this is a place to escape,,shed the skin, wash away, memory erased.
And in my mind I hibernate, waiting for dawn to break,
sun shines through the clouds again, winter fades, start afresh [x2]
Season of spring, season of spring, breathe into me, wash over me,
