The Morgan Motor Company is a family-owned British motor car manufacturer that was founded in 1910 by Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan.
Morgan is based in Malvern Link, an area of Malvern, Worcestershire and employs 163 people. Morgan produced 640 cars in 2007, all assembled by hand. The waiting list for a car is approximately six months, although it has been as long as ten years in the past.
A visitor centre and museum feature exhibits about the company's history from Edwardian times until the present day, developments in automobile technology, and a display of automobiles. There are also guided tours of the factory.
Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan, generally known as "HFS", was an employee of the Great Western Railway, who bought his first car in 1902 at the age of 21. In 1904, he left his railway job and co-founded a motor sales and servicing garage in Malvern Link. In 1909 he designed and built a car for his own use. He began production a year later and the company prospered. Morgan continued to run it until he died at age 77 in 1959.
Windows Aero (a backronym for Authentic, Energetic, Reflective, and Open, or simply AERO or Aero), also known as Aero Glass, is a set of interface and design guidelines that were introduced by the Windows Vista operating system. The changes made in the Aero interface affected many elements of the Windows interface, including the incorporation of a new look, along with changes in interface guidelines reflecting appearance, layout, and the phrasing and tone of instructions and other text in applications.
The Aero interface was unveiled for Windows Vista as a complete redesign of the Windows interface, replacing Windows XP's "Luna" theme. Until the release of Windows Vista Beta 1 in July 2005, little had been shown of Aero in public or leaked builds. Previous user interfaces were Plex, which was featured in Longhorn builds 3683–4039; Slate, which was featured in build 4042 and was available until build 4093; and Jade (builds 4074, 4083 and 4093). Microsoft started using the Aero theme in public builds in build 5048. The first build with full-featured Aero was build 5219. Build 5270 (released in December 2005) contained an implementation of the Aero theme which was virtually complete, according to sources at Microsoft, though a number of stylistic changes were introduced between then and the operating system's release.
The Aero was a Czechoslovak automobile, manufactured between 1929 and 1947 by a well-known aircraft and car-body company owned by Dr. Kabes in Praha-Vysocany. Now Aero Vodochody produces aircraft only.
The original model, the Aero Type 500 cyclecar, had a 499 cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine with water cooling. Drive was to the rear axle through a 3-speed gearbox to a back axle without differential. Body styles were a roadster, cabriolet and coupé all with two seats in the front and one in the rear. About 1500 were made.
The next model in 1932, the Type 20, was a 660 cc vertical twin with, among other improvements, four-wheel brakes. The most common body was a two-door three-seat roadster, but four-door saloons were also made using steel-covered timber-framed coachwork. A 999 cc 26 bhp engine was available from 1932.
In 1934 the Type 30 was announced with a 998 cc 26 bhp twin-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive and all independent suspension. The car could reach 65 mph (105 km/h). About 3000 were made before the
The Pokémon (ポケモン, Pokemon) franchise has 721 (as of the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire) distinctive fictional species classified as the titular Pokémon. This is a selected listing of 49 of the Pokémon species, originally found in the Red and Green versions, arranged as they are in the main game series' National Pokédex.
Exeggcute (タマタマ, Tamatama), known as the Egg Pokémon, is a single Pokémon with six separate seed bodies (often mistaken for eggs, according to the Pokémon episode, "March of the Exeggutor Squad"). Exeggcute's name is a play on the word "execute". Tamatama could be taken to mean 偶然, unexpectedly, although it is more likely to be derived from 玉 tama, sphere, doubled. It is worth noting that the Japanese word for egg is 卵 tamago. They use telepathic signals only they can receive to remain in their balanced formation; even if one is separated, it will quickly rejoin its swarm. Each member of the swarm has a different appearance in number of cracks, deformations, personalities and facial expressions. Some Exeggcute can have such severe cracking and breakage that a yolk can be seen inside. The middle body often has the fewest or no cracks at all, and is assumed to be the boss of the group.
Morgan is a female orca who was rescued in the Wadden Sea, off the northwestern coast of the Netherlands in June 2010. She was found in terrible condition, severely underweight and malnourished. She lived several months in the Dolfinarium Harderwijk in the Netherlands. After it became clear that she could not be released to the wild because her pod wasn't able to be located, the Dolfinarium worked hard to find another facility for her because their basin was too small. However, activists set up a battle and went to court. The whole business extended Morgan's time at the Dolfinarium and she spent a year longer in her small basin. Eventually the court decided that she was to be moved and she was transported to the Loro Parque in Spain.
The orca, now named Morgan, was administered medical assistance and provided with food. The reason for the orca's capture was emaciation (weighing approximately 430 kg) and likely also dehydration. Her body length was 3.5 m.
Morgan Jones is a fictional character from the comic book series The Walking Dead and is portrayed by Lennie James in the American television series of the same name. In both the comics and television series, he is a devoted father struggling to get over the recent death of his wife. He and his son seek refuge in Rick's hometown (Cynthiana, Kentucky, in the comics; a small town in Georgia in the television series) after the outbreak occurs.
In the TV series Morgan is a loving and devoted father trying to keep his son Duane alive in Rick's hometown in Georgia after the apocalypse occurs and is the first survivor Rick encounters, in the pilot episode, after awakening from his coma. After saving his life from a walker Morgan tells Rick about the outbreak and they part ways with the intention of reuniting in Atlanta but the two men lose contact. In season 3 Morgan is revealed to be alive when Rick encounters him on a supply run but has become mentally unstable as Duane was killed by Morgan's undead wife, and refuses to rejoin Rick's group insisting he needs to stay and clear the town of walkers. In season 5 Morgan recovers from his mental break, the story of which is elaborated upon in season 6, and learns that Rick is in Virginia and eventually finds the Alexandria Safe-Zone and reunites with his old friend. In season 6 Morgan has become a man of peace, insisting they can resolve threats without the use of violence, which conflicts with Rick's views. A flashback episode reveals that after encountering Rick the second time Morgan met a survivor named Eastman who helped him recover from his mental break, teaching him aikido and insisting he doesn't have to kill people no matter the situation.
Morgan was an English progressive rock band, formed and disbanded in the early 1970s.
Featuring former Smile member Tim Staffell on vocals and guitar, Bob Sapsed of Springfield Park on bass, Maurice Bacon on drums and (the band's namesake) Morgan Fisher on keyboards, Morgan formed in 1971. The group was born from the joint Morgan Fisher–Maurice Bacon band Love Affair, a highly successful soul-pop band (#1 UK hit, "Everlasting Love" in 1968) that transmogrified into the band L.A., a fusion group who combined pop sensibilities with an underground progressive rock approach.
Morgan formed shortly after L.A. lapsed, with the band deciding to discard all pop leanings and launch headlong into composing keyboard-driven progressive rock epics. They sequestered themselves in the newly constructed RCA Studios in Rome, home to the then-cutting-edge of recording technology (16-track studios were still considered an extravagant rarity). The profusion of unusual musical instruments in the studio heavily influenced Morgan's on-record soundscape; a 1930 Neo-Bechstein electric piano, harpsichord, marimba, celeste, timpani, tubular bells, and first-generation synthesizers (such as the British VCS3) all united to aid in the crafting of a unique and ground-breaking musical direction.

During its development, Microsoft used many, such as Watercolour & Candy, before XP’s final visual style, Luna, was revealed. A similar process happened during the development of its successor, Windows Vista (2006), with styles such as Plex & Slate used before the announcement of its final visual style, Aero.
