Update: I made a tutorial on how to make the original high-neck top! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDsso_1GFZw
I wanted this tutorial to be a really quick & simple way to upcycle/cute-ify your clothing. Both because beginners will find it easy to do, and also because I have exams to study for and couldn't spend all day sewing ;__; (Wish me luck!) You can sew around the edges of the resulting cutout if you want extra durability - but it's not necessary! The heart will hold its shape thanks to the interfacing behind it.
ps I don't 100% recommend using velveteen/napped fabrics like I did, just because the velveteen gets a little bit crushed & you end up with an outline of where you ironed! It's not *super* noticeable but if I do this again I'll be using non-nap fabrics (so like everything that isn't velvet, corduroy, suede etc) instead. T-shirt (jersey) material will work really well. Just make sure it's stretchy and won't fray!
pps: Knit doesn't mean knitted. It means it's stretchy :) sewing terminology!
ppps: does anybody even read the description box? lalalalalalalalaaaaa
I now have merch/clothing to buy - help support my channel financially, and adorn your body with pretty things at the same time!

PRESENTED BY ANNA BILIC
They toil in deserts and on busy freeways, at the top of massive seaside cliffs and in the dim neighborhood dives of sunny L.A. The landscape is rife with energy and all the while they are collecting. Despite the great abundance they are not taking but merely assimilating, recording, merging and regurgitating their interpretation of the beauty and chaos all around.
Attempts to describe them often land at “psych” -- as in “psychedelic,” “psych-pop hypnotists,” or a “psych-rock band in pop clothing.” The terminology is often bogged down by notions of illicit indulgences or foolhardy voyages into the vast inner unknown. But this particular brand of rock ‘n roll is more than a simple affront to the machine-pop dominating our present-day collective consciousness. It is an alternative translation of the world around us, one that captures the essence of power and beauty and emotion that human beings are uniquely attuned to, that our machines allow us to ignore. That is the goal.
Bolstered by positive response, they pushed themselves to explore within and without, to further develop their abilities and to hone their own individual expressions. The result was Habitats (2013), an eclectic blend of pop and psychedelic hard rock. A marked progression from their first release, Habitats has seen both repeated FM play and positive commentary from LA’s independent music press. A hugely successful release show at Silver Lake hub El Cid verified that their sound was turning heads.
With the release of Fear, Young Creatures found themselves amidst new and exciting opportunities. Classic Rock Magazine selected the single "Fear All The Things" for inclusion new-wave psychedelia compilation, with a writeup featuring the band.

Trans Terminology Lesson and Myth Busting

Having asked my trans-sensei Andrew Guy from Andy's Project to make a video addressing the parents of transkids I decided it was time for me to pull up my frilly stockings and make this video. The goal of this is to address any misconceptions and misunderstandings about transition, transgender/transsexuals and their lives. Although not initially planned, I felt it was necessary for me to share this knowledge and concern with those on youtube.
Having pulled up said filly stockings, I am hoping to become a further assistance to the friends and families of transkids and young transgender adults. Please, inbox me if you have any questions or just want to chat. I extend this invitation to ALL; transpeople, queers, supporters, loved ones and the plain old curious. I'm a nice guy. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you.
As a clear update I will confirm that I only respond to male pronouns. These are he/his/him. I "explain" myself as a man with a testosterone deficiency that has caused a lack of any male secondary sexual characteristics. I use male facilities such as bathrooms, I wear male clothes and am in a gay relationship with a gay man (who will be appearing soon!) I pass probably 10% of the time at first glance as a younger boy. Once I start talking I'd say it ups to about 50% of the time.
Most of you will be happy to know I'm officially a NON SMOKER!!!!
I have my final exams next month, on the 8th Nov and 9th Nov. I will then be moving to Brisbane to live with three transmen I have grown to know and love. I will be starting the natural T therapy and exercise regime designed by Tristan Skye once I am settled, up until my 18th birthday. I will also be preparing to harvest eggs for freezing (I am aware that I may have to lessen my involvement with the natural T process during this time), signing up to the private health care system and continuing my education. I will start planning a periareolar chest reconstruction, a nipple re-sizing and re-placing and a hysterectomy once 12 months is up. I will absolutely be updating during this.
More videos will follow, I have a particular interest in an Anti-Transphobia topic to combat and raise awareness of bullying and mental health in transmen and transwomen.
Stay strong and stay safe.
Logan
Edit#
My original title contained the word "Tranny", something I have made an effort to become desensitised to. I apologise for any offence caused, but I will not apologise for toughing up against bullying and using a phrase that was once offensive in a more positive light. I use the term affectionately and between me and my trans friends as it is as easily used as two gay men greeting each other by saying "hey homo!" This is not the same "hey homo" screamed out of a car by a random. Understand? My partner and I do this a lot, making irony and fun of old hate, as well as many of my gay friends thanks to a relaxed atmosphere and thanks to toughing up against bullying. By not reacting negatively you are showing the bullies it is not affecting you. Lesson for today, resilience!

Animal rights is the idea that some, or all, non-human animals are entitled to the possession of their own lives and that their most basic interests—such as the need to avoid suffering—should be afforded the same consideration as similar interests of human beings.[3] Advocates oppose the assignment of moral value and fundamental PROTECTIONS on the basis of species membership alone—an idea known since 1970 as speciesism, when the term was coined by Richard D. Ryder—arguing that it is a prejudice as irrational as any other.[4] They maintain that animals should no longer be viewed as property or used as food, clothing, research subjects, entertainment, or beasts of burden.[5]
Advocates approach the issue from a variety of perspectives. The abolitionist view is that animals have moral rights, which the pursuit of incremental reform may undermine by encouraging human beings to feel comfortable with using them. Gary Francione's abolitionist position promotes ethical veganism. He argues that animal rights groups that pursue welfare concerns, such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), risk making the public feel comfortable about its use of animals. He calls such groups "the new welfarists." PETA argues that Francione's criticism does little to help alleviate the suffering of individual animals and also trivializes the efforts of workers in the field who handle cruelty cases. It also creates divisiveness within the animal liberation movement instead of focusing on SHARED goals.[6] Tom Regan, as a deontologist, argues that at least some animals are "subjects-of-a-life", with beliefs, desires, memories, and a sense of their own future, who must be treated as ends in themselves, not as means to an end.[7] Sentiocentrism is the theory that sentient individuals are the subject of moral concern and therefore are deserving of rights. Protectionists seek incremental reform in how animals are treated, with a view to ending animal use entirely, or almost entirely. This position is represented by the philosopher Peter Singer. As a preference utilitarian, Singer's focus is not on moral rights, but on the argument that animals have interests—particularly an interest in not suffering—and that there is no moral or logical reason not to award those interests equal consideration. Multiple cultural traditions around the world—such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism—also espouse some forms of animal rights
