This is the first time I took my new GoPro out to a location other than around my house. I think I got some decent footage here. The day was plagued with trouble though. Out of 4 flights, the first one I forgot to set the camera correctly, then the 2nd flight my camera mount came loose, and made for mostly unusable footage. The 3rd was nice, though my lamely repaired camera mount allowed some vibration to get into the image, making a lot of great shots unusable. Then on the 4th flight the battery failed and I lost my quadcopter in the river for 2 hours as I dredged the waters in a wetsuit with a giant stick. At least the craft and camera were retrieved, and the footage SAVED! Camera SAVED (after drying in rice for 2 days)! Most electronics SAVED!. Just need new speed controllers. After the excitement I made it home just in time to clean out my gear and get ready for my b-day party/Christmas celebration. I was very tired from walking in the freezing river current for 2 hours.
