Riga District
Riga District (Latvian: Rīgas rajons) was an administrative division of Latvia, located in Semigallia and Vidzeme regions, in the centre of the country. The district had the two cities of Riga and Jūrmala with the Gulf of Riga to the north. Beginning from the west and counterclockwise to the east, Riga District had Tukums, Jelgava, Bauska, Ogre, Cēsis and Limbaži former districts as neighbours. The area of the district was 3,058 km² with a population of 159,247.
Riga District was one of the largest regions of Latvia, it was strategically important and also had some of the most developed infrastructure in Latvia. It was a cross-point of 10 major motorways and a junction of 6 important railroad lines.
Districts were eliminated during the administrative-territorial reform in 2009.
Nature
The larger part of the former region lies in the sand-soil plains of Riga that are covered by pinewoods, low links, marshlands and level countryside that is typical for littoral lowlands. In the northern part, there are ridges of links and many lakes have formed in hollows between them. There are 132 lakes in the Riga Region and the biggest of them is the Babīte Lake, Lielais Baltezers, Mazais Baltezers, Dūņu Lake and Lilaste Lake. The former district is also crossed by three major rivers in Latvia – Daugava, Lielupe and Gauja Rivers.

Sex tourism in Riga, Latvia - a short documentary.
For my final major college project, I decided to produce a film about sex tourism in my home town of Riga. As well as meeting a wide variety of male tourist groups from all over Europe, I interviewed a lot of locals that had come in to direct and indirect contact with the sex industry - everyone from a local rickshaw driver to the director of a company that organises stag weekends. This film is neither supporting, nor opposing sex tourism, but is a mere look in to a subject that i have always found interesting and intriguing. Riga, Latvia - September HD
We found Riga to be a very child friendly, safe, lovely place. This time we visited it during summer, walked around its many parks and gorgeous canals, enjoyed its medieval Old Town as well as its Art Nouveau district. Not to forget the tasty, cheap food and beer, any of the traditional "Lido" restaurants are a must.

We started our journey from London. Our Destination was Lake District, Cumbria. It is a non metropolitan county in North West England. We reached there by evening and stayed at YHA Ambleside. The rent was 40 £ for 4 person. The room was very nice. Next morning we woke up early and visited almost all the eye catching places in Lake District. Trust me it's more beautiful through naked eyes than iphone 6s. After sunset we headed for Blackpool. Blackpool is a seaside resort on the Irish Sea coast of England. For my final major college project, I decided to produce a film about sex tourism in my home town of Riga. As well as meeting a wide variety of male tourist groups from all over Europe, I interviewed a lot of locals that had come in to direct and indirect contact with the sex industry - everyone from a local rickshaw driver to the director of a company that organises stag weekends.
This film is neither supporting, nor opposing sex tourism, but is a mere look in to a subject that i have always found interesting and intriguing.
A big thank you to Luke Quinn and everyone in Year 2 Film & TV production at Reigate School of Art ,Design & Media, East Surrey College for making this possible.

After having lunch we left Blackpool and this time destination was Peak District.The Peak District is an upland area in England at the southernmost end of the Pennines. It falls mostly in northern Derbyshire but also includes parts of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire and Yorkshire. We enjoyed the natural beauty and spent a breathtaking afternoon over there.
Last but not the least my amazing trip to Uk finished with a visit to Durdle Door. Durdle Door is a natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast near Lulworth in Dorset, England. It is privately owned by the Welds, a family who owns 12,000 acres in Dorset in the name of the Lulworth Estate. It is open to the public.

Yes! Wherever I end up, be it back home in Yorkshire, England or another country, I will be uploading videos of my travels and exploring. Obviously, this might not be as regular as I upload now, but, new content will be uploading weekly.
5. What software do you use to edit your videos?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro, and occasionally, Adobe After Effects. I am still learning, but find it easier to use than other software.

1. What camera do you use?
I use a Canon Powershot SX700HS and a GoPro Entry level.
2. Where do you get your music from?
Soundcloud and YouTube Audio Library are the two places where I source creative commons licensed music. I include a link to the content creator in the video description, but sometimes I do forget.
3. How much have you spent on your round the world trip so far?
This is continuously changing as I travel, when I finish my trip I will be revealing how much I spent and what areas cost me the most.
4. Will you create videos after your round the world trip?
Yes! Wherever I end up, be it back home in Yorkshire, England or another country, I will be uploading videos of my travels and exploring. Obviously, this might not be as regular as I upload now, but, new content will be uploading weekly.
5. What software do you use to edit your videos?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro, and occasionally, Adobe After Effects. I am still learning, but find it easier to use than other software.
