Hongdu, a time-honored brand in Beijing, is widely recognized as the best Zhongshan suit manufacturer. Although Chinese people call it the Zhongshan suit (中山装) after Sun Yat-Sen, Mao Zedong is often credited for the popularity of the suit of his namesake in postwar China. Business tycoons and factory workers alike strode the streets literally wearing their politics on their sleeves. But more than being just a long-sleeved, dourly colored tunic of coarse cotton, the Mao suit soon came to represent proletarian unity. In this artwork, symbols of Chinese communism are discreetly hidden in the vest: the four pockets represent the ancient Chinese virtues of honesty, honor, justice and propriety while the five buttons hint at the past 5 branches of the Chinese government. Howard, a 35-year-old Australian, was born in Hong Kong. He is a musician, but once he puts on a Mao Suit and gels his hair, he looks just like the infamous young North Korean dictator.

The modern Chinese tunic suit is a style of male attire known in China as the Zhongshan suit (simplified Chinese: 中山装; traditional Chinese: 中山裝; pinyin: Zhōngshān zhuāng) (after Sun Yat-Sen), and known in the West as the Mao suit (after Mao Zedong). Mao Zedong, also transliterated as Mao Tse-tung 
listen (help·info), and commonly referred to as Chairman Mao (December 26, 1893 – September 9, 1976), was a Chinese Communist revolutionary, guerrilla warfare strategist, Marxist political philosopher, and leader of the Chinese Revolution. He was the architect and founding father of the People's Republic of China (PRC) from its establishment in 1949, and held authoritarian control over the nation until his death in 1976. His theoretical contribution to Marxism–Leninism, along with his military strategies and brand of policies, are collectively known as Maoism.
Mao rose to power by commanding the Long March, forming a Second United Front with Kuomintang (KMT) during the Second Sino-Japanese War to repel a Japanese invasion, and leading the Communist Party of China (CPC) to victory against Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek's Kuomintang (KMT) in the Chinese Civil War. After solidifying the reunification of China through his Campaign to Suppress Counterrevolutionaries, Mao enacted sweeping land reform, by using violence and terror to overthrow the feudal landlords before seizing their large estates and dividing the land into people's communes. During the years when Mao was China’s 'Great Helmsman', a range of positive changes came to China. These included promoting the status of women, improving popular literacy, doubling the school population, providing universal housing, abolishing unemployment and inflation, increasing health care access, and dramatically raising life expectancy. In addition, China's population almost doubled during the period of Mao's leadership (from around 550 to over 900 million). As a result, Mao is still officially held in high regard by many in China as a great political strategist, military mastermind, and savior of the nation. Maoists further promote his role as a theorist, statesman, poet, and visionary, while anti-revisionists continue to defend most of his policies.

At One and One tailors, the latest styles are being supplied using the latest technology. One and One also carries imported suits from popular European companies. Just 15 years ago, this kind of consumerism was virtually non-existent in communist China where everyone tried to be equal. SOUNDBITE: "Before the reforms, most clothes were plain coloured, and the style was mostly that of Mao's suit. But now people's standard of living is higher and they are earning better salaries, which is why we have more customers." Although Chinese people call it the Zhongshan suit (中山装) after Sun Yat-Sen, Mao Zedong is often credited for the popularity of the suit of his namesake in postwar China. Business tycoons and factory workers alike strode the streets literally wearing their politics on their sleeves. But more than being just a long-sleeved, dourly colored tunic of coarse cotton, the Mao suit soon came to represent proletarian unity. With rising salaries and foreign businesses and investors popping up almost daily, Guangzhou's young professionals are dressing smarter.
Despite prices ranging from 130 U-S dollars (d) to two thousand dollars (d), many can afford to get a tailor-made suit.
At One and One tailors, the latest styles are being supplied using the latest technology.
One and One also carries imported suits from popular European companies.
Just 15 years ago, this kind of consumerism was virtually non-existent in communist China where everyone tried to be equal.
SOUNDBITE:
"Before the reforms, most clothes were plain coloured, and the style was mostly that of Mao's suit. But now people's standard of living is higher and they are earning better salaries, which is why we have more customers."

One and One can supply more custom-made clothing due to a computerized system of pattern-making described by the owners as the first of its kind in China.
The computerized system - invented by a Chinese designer - is saving the shop time, manpower and money.

"From past experience, a tailor spent 40 minutes cutting out the patterns, but now it only takes five minutes to do it. That's 40 compared to five. We are getting eight times more work done."

However, the customers who frequent One and One are not average wage-earners.

57-year-old Chen Yan used to be an average, run-of-the-mill homemaker. The only noticeable thing about her: her striking resemblance to Chinese revolutionary Mao Zedong. Chen was teased mercilessly for this as a child, reducing her to tears. But in 2006 she made a decision that would completely change her life – to embrace herself and her appearance. Chen is now a full time Mao impersonator, an extremely popular one.
Impersonating Chairman Mao isn’t exactly a piece of cake. It’s a demanding and controversial job, because female impersonators of Mao aren’t very common in China. To look the part, Chen has to touch up her face, wear a Zhongshan suit and arrange her hair like Mao’s trademark style. She has to walk on specially made 26cm stilts, camouflaged to look like a larger shoe size. A typical performance is about 40 minutes long – Chen waves to the crowds, smokes and stares solemnly into the distance. I must say, she does a damn good job of it. It’s almost impossible to tell there’s a woman behind the costume.

Ben Tse went to talk to the band. “Meteor x Meanography” is a group exhibition by five local photographers who also explore Hong Kong as their subject. Two of them, Venus Ng and Standsfield To, tell us more about the show, and their work. Tseng Kwong-chi is the son of exiled Chinese nationalists. He was born in Hong Kong in 1950, moved to Canada with his family when he was 16, and died in New York in 1990. Belonging, identity, and statelessness were major themes of his art. And Sawa is similar to Touka. Which is probably why I don't like Sawa much. Still, there are a few unique officers in Koihime that give tons of advantage to their country. For Gi it's Mao, as she's an engineer officer. For Go it's Minmei, since she's a scout officer. And for Shoku, it's probably Tanpopo, being a trapper officer. Just last month local band King Ly Chee gave their 15th anniversary concert. They also released a new album and organised a photo exhibition. Ben Tse went to talk to the band. “Meteor x Meanography” is a group exhibition by five local photographers who also explore Hong Kong as their subject. Two of them, Venus Ng and Standsfield To, tell us more about the show, and their work. Tseng Kwong-chi is the son of exiled Chinese nationalists. He was born in Hong Kong in 1950, moved to Canada with his family when he was 16, and died in New York in 1990. Belonging, identity, and statelessness were major themes of his art. He is particularly known for his photographic self-portraits. In the “Expeditionary Self-Portrait Series” he poses in front of iconic architecture and nature in a Mao suit in his invented artistic persona, as an “Ambiguous Ambassador”. Batman is beating up bad guys when suddenly Alfred says that traces of Venom are registering on his suit. Batman checks the area and deduces that he needs to head to The Alibi club to face "The Bird".
Whilst on his way to the club Batman takes out the last of the Penguins weapon Caches, and then checks in Gothams Church and finds that Sionis is there with his gang. Batman is an unwanted visitor and a fight ensues.
Batman kicks their asses and then continues to "The Bird" (Banes Lieutenant) After he gets arrested by Batman, you would think that Gotham is running out of bad guys..... No chance. No rest for the wicked and its time for Batman to go and stop Firefly from cashing in his bounty attempt.
So here is the next hour of game play. The 17th part in my story play-though. Unfortunately I am starting to have a lot of problems with crashes and hang ups while playing this game which makes the recording a bit of a nightmare, I will persevere though and try to do the best I can with the editing.

This arc doesn't have any battles and noone joins here... but it has Nagi! She is infinitely awesome. It's like you take Aisha, make her cuter, strongly reduce her tsun and teach her how to shoot hadoukens. If you compare those three... Mao is similar to Shion or Kikyo. Nagi is similar to Aisha. And Sawa is similar to Touka. Which is probably why I don't like Sawa much. Still, there are a few unique officers in Koihime that give tons of advantage to their country. For Gi it's Mao, as she's an engineer officer. For Go it's Minmei, since she's a scout officer. And for Shoku, it's probably Tanpopo, being a trapper officer. Oh, Gi also has Cho sisters, who are basically give a huge boost to morale and troop drafting.
At any rates, this episode had Mao's part. The Sawa and Nagi are next. And Nagi's scene is epic.
