In West Yorkshire, five motorways and two major cities meet in one of the country's busiest intersections.
Motorway cops Dave Robson and Phil Stonebanks come on duty to a type of call they always fear - an accident in a live lane of the motorway involving a two-year-old child. Dave and Phil close the motorway, and while the casualties are taken to hospital, the motorway cops begin their investigation - but it's fast approaching the evening rush hour, and time is not on their side.
The motorways are often a good place to identify drivers who shouldn't be on the road. With help from their automatic number plate recognition camera, PCs Lindsey Pickles and Martin Willis spot an uninsured driver. When Martin approaches the car, to his surprise he finds a mum with three children, one of which is too young to be transported in the front of the car.
While responding to a report of a car fire on the A1 motorway, PC Dale Anderson finds his progress blocked by a motorbike rider using hard shoulder. Taking a shortcut through the tailbacks doesn't impress Dale.
PC Matthew Hemingway deals with a distressed motorist who's been involved in a hit-and-run accident on the M62. Matthew is determined to track down the men who caused the accident.

Bradley (Brad) passed his test approx 5 months ago and is doing his pass plus with Bob. Not all of the sessions were captured on video, but there is a selection here on the channel that we hope you find useful. (We have discussed the theory but will be covering the practical elements of bad weather driving later in the year)
Bob tried wherever possible to get Brad to be aware of and consider risks, therefore coming to his own conclusions about what to do about them. This method of learning creates decision makers, and it is good decision makers that make good drivers. Being aware of the risk and how you might manage it is critical to staying alive on today's roads. Young male drivers are involved in a disproportionally high number of fatal accidents, not because they are bad drivers, it is because they make bad decisions. It is hoped that by encouraging young drivers to be more aware of their surroundings and the consequences of choices they make, we can help them to better handle the dangers of driving by having them aware of the consequences of their actions.
About PASS PLUS
As a newly qualified driver you are more vulnerable than you may think. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have a collision within the first two years of driving than at any other time of their driving career. Two young drivers under the age of 25 die every day in Great Britain and in their first year one in five are involved in a collision. Newly qualified drivers, regardless of age, have a higher risk of a collision. Driving is a skill for life, while you can learn by your mistakes in many life skills driving is one where learning by your errors can be fatal.
Pass Plus is a short course of lessons (minimum of 6 hours) which has the benefit of potentially saving you money when you want to insure your first car. The course is taken once you have passed your driving test and there is NO test at the end of it.

Motorway 1 (Greece)
The Greek Motorway 1, code: A1, is a motorway in Greece. Partly under construction, it is the 2nd longest motorway in Greece. It is the principal north-south road connection in Greece, connecting the country's capital Athens with the regions of Thessaly and Macedonia, as well as the country's second largest city, Thessaloniki.
The motorway begins at Kifissou Avenue, Athens, just north of the Bay of Phaliro, and continues northward to Evzonoi, on the border with the country's northern neighbour, the Republic of Macedonia, where it continues as the M-1. Before the European routes numbers were changed, the northern part from Efzoni to EO2 was E5N while today, the entire road is part of European route E75. The task of maintaining and charging for parts of the motorway has recently been ceded to private consortia, part of the deal for the construction of the Ionia Odos, the E65, as well as the bypass of Tempe Valley.
The part west of downtown Athens runs over the Cephisus river and Kifissou Avenue. From north of the boundary of Voiotia - Phthiotis, up to near Velestino, the tollway runs close to the coast of the Aegean Sea. It then continues north of the Tempe Valley and up to the junction of the European route E90. It then shares a 25 km common part with A2 / E90 (on a west-east direction), and then, at the "Axios Interchange", continues north to Evzonoi and the national border with the Republic of Macedonia. Its total length is approximately 550 km.

Bradley (Brad) passed his test approx 5 months ago and is doing his pass plus with Bob. Not all of the sessions were captured on video, but there is a selection here on the channel that we hope you find useful. (We have discussed the theory but will be covering the practical elements of bad weather driving later in the year)
Bob tried wherever possible to get Brad to be aware of and consider risks, therefore coming to his own conclusions about what to do about them. This method of learning creates decision makers, and it is good decision makers that make good drivers. Being aware of the risk and how you might manage it is critical to staying alive on today's roads. Young male drivers are involved in a disproportionally high number of fatal accidents, not because they are bad drivers, it is because they make bad decisions. It is hoped that by encouraging young drivers to be more aware of their surroundings and the consequences of choices they make, we can help them to better handle the dangers of driving by having them aware of the consequences of their actions.
About PASS PLUS
As a newly qualified driver you are more vulnerable than you may think. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have a collision within the first two years of driving than at any other time of their driving career. Two young drivers under the age of 25 die every day in Great Britain and in their first year one in five are involved in a collision. Newly qualified drivers, regardless of age, have a higher risk of a collision. Driving is a skill for life, while you can learn by your mistakes in many life skills driving is one where learning by your errors can be fatal.
Pass Plus is a short course of lessons (minimum of 6 hours) which has the benefit of potentially saving you money when you want to insure your first car. The course is taken once you have passed your driving test and there is NO test at the end of it.
