On ilo olla täällä Helsingissä sosialidemokraattisten ystäviemme luona, jotka ovat tehneet erittäin hienoa hallitustyötä. Mielestäni varapääministeri ja valtiovarainministeri itse ansaitsee erillisen maininnan, sillä erinomainen taloudenhoito ja erityisesti puheenjohtajakauden onnistunut Eurooppa-politiikka toimii meille kaikille esimerkkinä hyvästä kehitystyöstä. Olemme ottaneet tavoitteeksemme kehittää sosiaalista ulottuvuutta, jotta myös työntekijät ja eläkeläiset saavat osansa eurooppalaisesta menestyksestä. Olemme ottaneet asiaksemme varmistaa, että ilmastonsuojelua edistetään konkreettisesti ilman, että ketään ylikuormitetaan. Jokaiselle järkevälle eurooppalaisille ihmiselle on selvää, että on eroa, lämmitetäänkö taloja Etelä-Euroopassa vai Pohjois-Euroopassa, kuten Suomessa. Tämänkaltaista käytännönläheistä ja tulevaisuuteen katsovaa politiikka haluamme tehdä. On hienoa, että sosialidemokraattiset puolueet molemmissa maissa ovat omaksuneet tämän tavan ja jatkaneet sitä intensiivisesti. Toivon suomalaisille ystävillemme menestystä tulevissa vaaleissa, ja että ystäväni Eero valitaan pääministerin tehtävään.

Kurt Beck
Kurt Beck (born 5 February 1949) is a German politician (SPD), serving as the Minister-President of Rhineland-Palatinate from 1994 to 2013 and as President of the Bundesrat in 2000/01. On 14 May 2006 he succeeded Matthias Platzeck as chairman of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD). He resigned from that post on 7 September 2008.
On 28 September 2012 he announced his resignation from the post of minister-president. He was succeeded by social minister Malu Dreyer.
Following Peter Struck's death in 2012, Kurt Beck together with Dieter Schulte took chair of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
Biography
Beck was born in Bad Bergzabern, Rhineland-Palatinate, to the bricklayer Oskar Beck and his wife Johanna. Both his parents had their roots in the town Kapsweyer in southern Rhenish Palatinate. He grew up in Steinfeld.
From 1963 to 1968, he became an electrician. After military duty in 1968 and 1969, he graduated from an evening school in 1972. Since then, he served as an employee representative on works councils.

Beck
Beck Hansen (born Bek David Campbell; July 8, 1970), known by the stage name Beck, is an American singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He rose to fame in the early 1990s with his lo-fi, sonically experimental style, and he became well known for creating musical collages of a wide range of styles. His later recordings encompass folk, funk, soul, hip hop, alternative rock, country and psychedelia. He has released 12 studio albums, as well as several non-album singles and a book of sheet music.
Born in Los Angeles in 1970, Beck discovered hip hop and folk music in his teens and began to perform locally at coffeehouses and clubs. He moved to New York City in 1989 and became involved in the city's small but intense anti-folk movement. After returning to his hometown in the early 1990s, he cut his breakthrough single "Loser", which became a worldwide hit in 1994. His 1996 album Odelay produced hit singles, topped critic polls and won several awards. He released the stripped-down Mutations in 1998, and the funk-infused Midnite Vultures in 1999. The downcast, acoustic Sea Change (2002) showcased a more serious Beck, and 2005's Guero returned to sample-based production. The Information (2006) was inspired by electro-funk and hip hop, and Modern Guilt (2008), likewise, by 1960s music. In February 2014, Beck released the album Morning Phase. It won Album of the Year at the 57th Grammy Awards on February 8, 2015.

Greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect is the process by which radiation from a planet's atmosphere warms the planet's surface to a temperature above what it would be in the absence of its atmosphere. If a planet's atmosphere contains radiatively active gases (i.e. greenhouse gases) the atmosphere radiates energy in all directions. Part of this radiation is directed towards the surface, warming it.
On Earth, solar radiation at the frequencies of visible light largely passes through the atmosphere to warm the planetary surface. The surface itself emits energy at the lower frequencies of infrared thermal radiation. Infrared radiation is absorbed by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These gases also radiate energy, some of which is directed to the surface and lower atmosphere. The mechanism is named after the effect of solar radiation passing through glass and warming a greenhouse, but the way it retains heat is fundamentally different as a greenhouse works by reducing airflow, isolating the warm air inside the structure so that heat is not lost by convection.

Ninja Tune
Ninja Tune is an independent record label based in London, England, UK. It has a satellite office in Los Angeles, California, US covering the whole of North America. It was founded by Matt Black and Jonathan More, better known as Coldcut and managed by Peter Quicke and others. Music Week has written that Ninja Tune is one of the most credible independent labels in the UK.
Inspired by a visit to Japan, Black & More primarily created Ninja Tune in 1990 as a means to escape the creative control of major labels, and to act as a vehicle to release music of a more underground nature, free from the restraints that were put on them via their brief stints with Arista and Big Life. The label has been called "visionary" and "reliably excellent". It has signed a diverse range of uncompromising artists, encourages interactive technology, embraces the audio-visual world, has created its own publishing company, Just Isn’t Music, and finds innovative uses of software.
The label’s first releases —the first five volumes of DJ Food's Jazz Brakes— were produced by Coldcut in the early 1990s, and celebrated by the music press and beat aficionados. They were composed of instrumental sample-based cuts that led the duo to help pioneer new instrumental hip hop beats genres (alongside the Mo'Wax label and Ninja Tune artists such as Funki Porcini, The Herbaliser and DJ Vadim) and, to this day, are recognized as being indispensable tools for DJs.

Mathias Richling
Mathias Richling (born 24 March 1953 in Waiblingen) is a German actor, author, comedian and Kabarett artist.
Richling studied literature, music and theatre. From 1989 to 1996 he had a program called Jetzt schlägt's Richling on the German TV channel ARD. Since 1999 he produced the program Zwerch trifft Fell on the German TV channel Südwestrundfunk. Together with Bruno Jonas he was part of the popular German cabaret show Scheibenwischer. He often presents in cabaret high-ranked German politicians.
