Zip Line Gold Mining: Buckets Of Ancient River Bed Material Quickly Drops To The Highbanker Below
My buddy and I found some bench gravel 40 to 50 feet up the mountain from the river. We could see where some of the old miners tunneled into the side of the mountain to chase the placer gold.
What we saw was a pretty remarkable site. Rocks the size of small cars, just hanging in suspension in the hard pack ancient streambed.
It's always good to find virgin ground for prospecting. The old miners obviously dug tunnels to chase the placer, but it's really cool to see that untouched stream bed. We had a great time and look forward to returning.
This area belongs to a lifelong friend of mine, who has not only the private property to this land, but a patented mining claim without expiration. We are forever grateful for him.
We figured the best way to get the "buckets of gold" down the mountain and across the river was a zip line. Brilliant idea, (my friends, not mine). Worked incredibly well.

To save a load of money I decided to make a (triangular) pet bed for my new guinea pig, Peewee. I paid about £6 (inc p&p;) for the material, but you could use old blankets/towels or odd bits of material round the house. You end up having a little project to do and you save lots of money! Because I didn't consistently make this, it took me just under two days, but I could have probably made it in a day. If you have a sewing machine or are particularly good at hand sewing, it could take you only a couple of hours. You can completely personalise it and make it to fit the needs of your pet.
My main aim was to make it big enough to fit in the 'SnuggleSafe Microwave Wireless Heatpad' which I bought to keep my guinea pig warm in the winter. You can get one for around £22 from Pets at Home, but you could probably find it cheaper on Ebay or Amazon.

This is one of our three automated systems for loading and unloading material for our Laser. It uses vacuum cups to lift material from a staging carriage. As it is picking up a sheet of material, the other section of the automation unit is picking up processed material from the processing bed. It then moves both the raw sheet and the processed material into position for the next stage. As it lowers the raw material onto the processing bed, the unloading portion of the automation unit deposits laser processed parts onto the unload carriage on the opposite side. The unit then returns to a home position. When full, the unload carriage will be moved out on rails from the caged portion of the automation unit where it can be lifted out all at once with a forklift. It will be brought to another area where parts are manually removed by workers from the skeleton and palletized before heading to their next work center. While all this is taking place, the laser continues to process the material which is already inside the machine on the second processing pallet. Be sure to check out the view from the unloading side.

Bed material load
Three components that are included in the load of a river system are the following: dissolved load, wash load and bed material load. The bed material load is the portion of the sediment that is transported by a stream that contains material derived from the bed. Bed material load typically consists of all of the bed load, and the proportion of the suspended load that is represented in the bed sediments. It generally consists of grains coarser than 0.062 mm with the principle source being the channel bed. Its importance lies in that its composition is that of the bed, and the material in transport can therefore be actively interchanged with the bed. For this reason, bed material load exerts a control on river channel morphology. Bed load and wash load (the sediment that rides high in the flow and does not extract non-negligible momentum from it) together constitute the total load of sediment in a stream. The order in which the three components of load have been considered – dissolved, wash, bed material – can be thought of as progression: of increasingly slower transport velocities, so that the load peak lags further and further behind the flow peak during any event.

This is one of our three automated systems for loading and unloading material for our Laser. It uses vacuum cups to lift material from a staging carriage. As it is picking up a sheet of material, the other section of the automation unit is picking up processed material from the processing bed. It then moves both the raw sheet and the processed material into position for the next stage. As it lowers the raw material onto the processing bed, the unloading portion of the automation unit deposits laser processed parts onto the unload carriage on the opposite side. The unit then returns to a home position. When full, the unload carriage will be moved out on rails from the caged portion of the automation unit where it can be lifted out all at once with a forklift. It will be brought to another area where parts are manually removed by workers from the skeleton and palletized before heading to their next work center. While all this is taking place, the laser continues to process the material which is already inside the machine on the second processing pallet. Be sure to check out the view from the unloading side.

To save a load of money I decided to make a (triangular) pet bed for my new guinea pig, Peewee. I paid about £6 (inc p&p;) for the material, but you could use old blankets/towels or odd bits of material round the house. You end up having a little project to do and you save lots of money! Because I didn't consistently make this, it took me just under two days, but I could have probably made it in a day. If you have a sewing machine or are particularly good at hand sewing, it could take you only a couple of hours. You can completely personalise it and make it to fit the needs of your pet.
My main aim was to make it big enough to fit in the 'SnuggleSafe Microwave Wireless Heatpad' which I bought to keep my guinea pig warm in the winter. You can get one for around £22 from Pets at Home, but you could probably find it cheaper on Ebay or Amazon.

This is one of our three automated systems for loading and unloading material for our Laser. It uses vacuum cups to lift material from a staging carriage. As it is picking up a sheet of material, the other section of the automation unit is picking up processed material from the processing bed. It then moves both the raw sheet and the processed material into position for the next stage. As it lowers the raw material onto the processing bed, the unloading portion of the automation unit deposits laser processed parts onto the unload carriage on the opposite side. The unit then returns to a home position. When full, the unload carriage will be moved out on rails from the caged portion of the automation unit where it can be lifted out all at once with a forklift. It will be brought to another area where parts are manually removed by workers from the skeleton and palletized before heading to their next work center. While all this is taking place, the laser continues to process the material which is already inside the machine on the second processing pallet. Be sure to check out the view from the unloading side.

Protomaker 3D Printer Heat bed SSR test success
3D Printer 24V Heat bed SSR test success
Using RAMPs 1.4, with a 12864 LCD display, control a 24 Volt 300 Watt heat pad.
The 24 Volt 300 Watt heat pad is controlled on and off via the Solid State Relay, SSR.
The Solid State Relay is controlled via the RAMPS 1.4 which is powered via a 24 Volt to 12 Volt car voltage step down device. A 24 Volt 500 Watt Power supply unit powers the 24 Volt 300 Watt heat pad via the Solid State Relay which is controlled via the RAMPS at 12 Volts.
So the RAMPS 1.4 is powered at 12 Volts via 12 Volts from the car voltage step down device which gets its 24 Volts input from the same 24 Volt 500 Watt Power supply as the one that also powers the 24 Volts 300 Watt heat pad.
Test program, moves steppers, etc. Not includes extruder heaters on and off, etc, so be careful using

***WARNING CRACK EXPOSURE AT 17:00 and maybe other times. SORRY. I just realized as i was watching it. LMAO.
After doing a truck bed box for my f350. I just had to make one for my Tacoma. It works so well, I just had to. In this video you get to see the start to finish that's why its on the long side.
Remember each application will have its own challenges. This design was based on my current bed liner features. This is just to give you an idea of how to come up with yours. If you look at the thumbnail. it shows the completed box with the locking mechanism so the drawers don't open. I kept it simple and just put a bar across the front. like the old style bar locks on doors. Simple and effective. Also, Finder holes were drilled on all the lids for easy removal. you can always make some wood drawers, but like I said before, i was using the items on hand and trying to repurpose things and give them a new life. This is going to work well. I plan on keeping a few camping items but this will mostly serve me for carrying tools and things. and if I have to, I can always blow up a mattress and take a snooze. Won't be as comfi as my F350 but good enough.

CORRECTION - Since creating this tutorial, it has been brought to my attention that MD does in fact respect the bias cut. It seems that the 2D window does run with standard warp and weft. If you place your fabric at a 45 degree angle, it will recognize the bias and drape.

Total cost: $2500.00
Fast forward to the Spring of 2009: With the bad economy and a Great quote from a struggling contractor, My wife and I decided to jump at the opportunity and make part 2 of this project a reality! Total cost: $15000.00
It took about 3 weeks to complete.

Here is a driving video of what it looks like to work in Houston area traffic with a big truck. You will see people go all around me and some do not seem to care that I am hauling hazardous materials on an open platform trailer or flatbed.
I do haul a lot of hazmat totes and drums because it pays so well, most of the time the pay per mile is over $3.00. I try to get the most I can due to the nature of the freight.

Here is a driving video of what it looks like to work in Houston area traffic with a big truck. You will see people go all around me and some do not seem to care that I am hauling hazardous materials on an open platform trailer or flatbed.
I do haul a lot of hazmat totes and drums because it pays so well, most of the time the pay per mile is over $3.00. I try to get the most I can due to the nature of the freight.
