Saturday 31st May 2014 was a magnificent day weatherwise, so Peter and I headed to the wonderful island of Arran to climb the 2866 feet high corbett that is goat fell (goatfell). It took us 3 hours to get up to the top and we descended the tourist path and walked back to Brodick for the 6pm Ferry

For 4 days I enjoyed the wonderful scenery, widlife and history of this spectacular island. Arriving by ferry from Adrossan I journey to my campsite at Kildonan bay. From here I explore some of the most spectacular places on the Isalnd. the Giants graves and Genashdale falls at Whiting bay, the Standing Stones on Machrie Moor, the 12 Appostles at Catacol, Lamlash and the Holy Isle and Kildonan. There is so much to explore and some wonderful peaks to climb that a second visit will be needed later in the year when the "tourists" have left. Enjoy the trailer and the main video is in the production suite now and should be ready soon!

Saturday 31st May 2014 was a magnificent day weatherwise, so Peter and I headed to the wonderful island of Arran to climb the 2866 feet high corbett that is goat fell (goatfell). It took us 3 hours to get up to the top and we descended the tourist path and walked back to Brodick for the 6pm Ferry

For 4 days I enjoyed the wonderful scenery, widlife and history of this spectacular island. Arriving by ferry from Adrossan I journey to my campsite at Kildonan bay. From here I explore some of the most spectacular places on the Isalnd. the Giants graves and Genashdale falls at Whiting bay, the Standing Stones on Machrie Moor, the 12 Appostles at Catacol, Lamlash and the Holy Isle and Kildonan. There is so much to explore and some wonderful peaks to climb that a second visit will be needed later in the year when the "tourists" have left. Enjoy the trailer and the main video is in the production suite now and should be ready soon!
