In March 2014, Scotland was to host France during the Six Nations at Murrayfield in Edinburgh. This brought lots of extra traffic to the airport, including an Air France 77W and a Corsair A332 to name a few. This video illustrates how busy Edinbrugh got at times, at one point, there were 6 aircraft holding short of the runway. I tried to get as much variety as possible in this video, which means I did miss out a lot of Europe Airpost 733's and many of the regular easyJet's and Ryanair's. This was supposedly one of the busiest days of the year at Edinburgh Airport because of the mass of French fans leaving the day after the match home to France victorious. This is part 1 of the full flight from Edinburgh (EGPH) to London Stansted (EGSS) on the Aerosoft A319.
This is the first time I use the aircraft on the channel, and before streaming the flight, I had only completed one flight!
Watch me go through the procedures, the flows, make mistakes, struggle and basically learn about the aircraft. This is all new stuff.
This was recorded live on Twitch with a lot of mistakes, and no editing!
In part 1, we will see the set up, start, taxi, takeoff and climb to cruise altitude.
I hope you enjoy the flight, flying the A319 is certainly a learning curve for me.

First flight in the new Aerosoft Airbus A319.
Totally screwed the cruising altitude up but not realising the PFPX profile I'd imported was in meters instead of feet... The initial approach was dreadful too, but at least the actual landing was fairly good, and the scenery was stunning! 1:31:00

Watch in fullscreen and High Defintion as a Flybe DH8D-Q400 pilot struggles to put his plane on the ground in some gusty winds at Edinburgh Airport on 8th March 2014.
You may remember a few videos ago I announced the big summer 2015 trip. Well the time has come! I am off to Switzerland tomorrow!:D I wasn't planning to upload today but then I realised I haven't uploaded in 2 weeks and as I am not back until the 27th it would have been 3 weeks before I uploaded. So I decided to string this video together.
The video begins with a British Airways A320 landing. Notice as even a heavier aircraft like the A320 can be pushed back into the air by strong crosswinds. A Flybe Dash 8 lands shortly after, and bounces twice. No I am trying to say this is a dangerous situation, I just thought it was worth uploading. Thanks for watching guys, your support e.g sharing with your friends, liking the video, commenting etc is all more motivation for me to go and get some amazing shots in ZRH and GVA! Lets get the final push to 4K subs!
This was filmed on the Almondbank on the 8th March 2014, the weekend of the Six Nations Rugby Charters.

You may remember a few videos ago I announced the big summer 2015 trip. Well the time has come! I am off to Switzerland tomorrow!:D I wasn't planning to upload today but then I realised I haven't uploaded in 2 weeks and as I am not back until the 27th it would have been 3 weeks before I uploaded. So I decided to string this video together. The video begins with a British Airways A320 landing. Notice as even a heavier aircraft like the A320 can be pushed back into the air by strong crosswinds. A Flybe Dash 8 lands shortly after, and bounces twice. No I am trying to say this is a dangerous situation, I just thought it was worth uploading. *Watch in 1080p!* In March 2014, Scotland was to host France during the Six Nations at Murrayfield in Edinburgh. This brought lots of extra traffic to the airport, including an Air France 77W and a Corsair A332 to name a few. This video illustrates how busy Edinbrugh got at times, at one point, there were 6 aircraft holding short of the runway. I tried to get as much variety as possible in this video, which means I did miss out a lot of Europe Airpost 733's and many of the regular easyJet's and Ryanair's. This was supposedly one of the busiest days of the year at Edinburgh Airport because of the mass of French fans leaving the day after the match home to France victorious. First flight in the new Aerosoft Airbus A319.
Totally screwed the cruising altitude up but not realising the PFPX profile I'd imported was in meters instead of feet... The initial approach was dreadful too, but at least the actual landing was fairly good, and the scenery was stunning! 1:31:00

Watch in fullscreen and High Defintion as a Flybe DH8D-Q400 pilot struggles to put his plane on the ground in some gusty winds at Edinburgh Airport on 8th March 2014.
You may remember a few videos ago I announced the big summer 2015 trip. Well the time has come! I am off to Switzerland tomorrow!:D I wasn't planning to upload today but then I realised I haven't uploaded in 2 weeks and as I am not back until the 27th it would have been 3 weeks before I uploaded. So I decided to string this video together.
The video begins with a British Airways A320 landing. Notice as even a heavier aircraft like the A320 can be pushed back into the air by strong crosswinds. A Flybe Dash 8 lands shortly after, and bounces twice. No I am trying to say this is a dangerous situation, I just thought it was worth uploading. Thanks for watching guys, your support e.g sharing with your friends, liking the video, commenting etc is all more motivation for me to go and get some amazing shots in ZRH and GVA! Lets get the final push to 4K subs!
This was filmed on the Almondbank on the 8th March 2014, the weekend of the Six Nations Rugby Charters.
