Robert ten Brink

Robert ten Brink (Amsterdam, 20 October 1955) is a Dutch presenter and actor.

He won the Golden TeleVizier-Ring in 1993 for his television program All you need is love. In 1997, he was chosen as the Netherlands' most popular TV personality. He has been married since 1981 to Roos Cialona, with whom he has five children.

Career

In 1979 he began as a disc jockey. In 1981 he began his TV career with the TV quiz Cijfers en Letters (Numbers and Letters). He began hosting TV shows like Superfan and Wereldwijs, but he especially became famous with Jeugdjournaal from the NOS. In 1989 he began hosting the original version of Lingo. In 1992 he went to Veronica, where he hosted the very successful All You Need is Love, which usually had more than 4 million viewers, which at the time was almost a third of the entire population. In 1998 he went to SBS 6, where he continued to host All You Need is Love. In 1999 he began hosting the very popular TV quiz Lotto Weekend Miljonairs. He was the host of Big Diet, where heavy people try to lose weight. When to Lotto, the main sponsor of Weekend Miljonairs, decided to get the program to RTL 4, he almost lost his program. Because SBS 6 had stopped with All You Need is Love and didn't have another program for him to host, he signed a 3-year contract with RTL, where he continued to host Lotto Weekend Miljonairs. In 2008 the Lotto stopped sponsoring Weekend Miljonairs which resulted in the show stopping. Because of this, Ten Brink hosted the Dutch version of The Moment of Truth in the fall of 2008. He began hosting the entertainment program Laat Ze Maar Lachen on RTL4, in April 2009. In November 2009, he began hosting the game show Succes Verzekerd, which was originally hosted by Carlo Boszhard.

Patricia Paay

Patricia Anglaia Margareth Paaij (born 7 April 1949), best known as Patricia Paay, is a Dutch singer, radio host, glamour model and television personality. In the Netherlands, she is well known for her musical career, which spans over four decades. She is also regularly featured on Dutch television and in Dutch tabloid media.

In 1984, Paay was the first glamour model in the Dutch edition of Playboy. In 2009, Paay posed for the December issue of the Dutch version of the magazine at age 60, making it the third time she had posed for Playboy.

Gordon Heuckeroth

Cornelis Willem (Gordon) Heuckeroth (born 6 July 1968, Amsterdam) is a Dutch performer and radio and television personality, better known by his nickname Gordon. As a singer, he had his greatest hit with the single Kon ik maar even bij je zijn (If I could be with you for just a while), which was a number one hit in The Netherlands in 1991.

Early life

Cornelis Willem Heuckeroth was born on 6 July 1968 in the north-area of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Before he became a professional performer, Gordon worked as a salesman on the streetmarket.

Career as a singer

At first it looked like it was not possible for him to have a career in music. He was turned down at the Soundmixshow and came in third in the National Songfestival contest finals.

In 1991 Gordon broke through with his third single. At first he sang only Dutch positive songs like Ik hou van jou (I love you) and Omdat ik zo van je hou (Because I love you so much), but later in the '90s his repertoire shifted to Dutch R&B. Gordon again participated in the national finals of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, finishing second after Esther Hart.

Gerard Joling

Gerard Jan Joling (born 29 April 1960 in Alkmaar) is a Dutch singer and television presenter. Known for his high tenor voice, he rose to fame in the late 80's and released a string of singles including "Ticket to the Tropics", "Love is in your Eyes", and his biggest hit, "No more boleros", a song that reached the top 10 in several countries in mainland Europe. He also achieved success in Asia and received more than 20 gold and platinum records.

In 1988 he was the Dutch participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, with the song "Shangri-La".

Joling & Gordon Over de Vloer is a television program Gerard Joling made with singer Gordon in 2005. There are 3 seasons of the series which contained the twosome during work and having a laugh.

In 2007 he was the host of Sterren dansen op het ijs and So You Wanna Be a Popstar for the television channel SBS 6. 2007 was also the year that sparked Joling's renewed success, with two number 1 songs, a number 1 album, and 11 gold and platinum awards.
