The Christina River is a tributary of the Delaware River, approximately 35 miles (56 km) long, in northern Delaware in the United States, also flowing through small areas of southeastern Pennsylvania and northeastern Maryland. Near its mouth the river flows past downtown Wilmington, Delaware, forming the city's harbor for traffic on the Delaware River. The Port of Wilmington, opened in 1923 at the river's mouth, handles international cargo and trade.
The river rises in southeastern Pennsylvania, in Franklin Township in southern Chester County, and initially flows southeastwardly, passing through the northeastern extremity of Maryland in northeastern Cecil County, into New Castle County in Delaware, where it flows through western and southern areas of the city of Newark and then turns northeastwardly, passing the town of Newport and approaching Wilmington from the southwest. It receives White Clay Creek from the west near Newport, and Brandywine Creek in Wilmington, approximately 2 miles (3 km) upstream of its mouth.
Christina may refer to:
It may also refer to: Xtina
A river is a natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an ocean, sea, lake or another river. In some cases a river flows into the ground and becomes dry at the end of its course without reaching another body of water. Small rivers can be referred to using names such as stream, creek, brook, rivulet, and rill. There are no official definitions for the generic term river as applied to geographic features, although in some countries or communities a stream is defined by its size. Many names for small rivers are specific to geographic location; examples are "run" in some parts of the United States, "burn" in Scotland and northeast England, and "beck" in northern England. Sometimes a river is defined as being larger than a creek, but not always: the language is vague.
Rivers are part of the hydrological cycle. Water generally collects in a river from precipitation through a drainage basin from surface runoff and other sources such as groundwater recharge, springs, and the release of stored water in natural ice and snowpacks (e.g. from glaciers). Potamology is the scientific study of rivers while limnology is the study of inland waters in general.

State and federal funds have been secured for a bridge to be built across the Christina River at the southern end of the Riverfront. The project extends from the area near Frawley Stadium across the Christina River to its east bank in the vicinity of the Market Street / Walnut Street split of Business US 13. The project is needed in order to alleviate traffic congestion near Riverfront attractions. This project proposes a new multi-modal crossing of the Christina River in order to add another access point to Wilmington Riverfront attractions and to improve access to US 13, I-495 and I-95. The project includes the bridge approaches and connections to the existing street grid.

Travel video about destination Argentina. Argentina is the second largest country in South America and a captivating land of tango, adventure and breathtaking nature.Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and the most European city in South America with buildings that are reminiscent of bygone times. The mighty Plaza De Mayo is the historic heart of the city, along with the presidential palace, the Casa Rosada and the Catedral Metropolitana. Today the tango is performed in each corner of the city and in the nineteenth century poor immigrants from Italy and Spain settled in Buenos Aires. This explains the fiery temperament and deep melancholy that is expressed by the dances and is evident with each flick of the leg. In what was once the red light district with its whore houses of colourfu...

21 Grams (2003) Movie' This is the story of three well-meaning but flawed people: Paul Rivers, an ailing mathematician lovelessly married to an English émigré; Christina Peck, an upper-middle-class suburban housewife, happily married homemaker with two young daughters, with hiding a secret past; and Jack Jordan, an ex-convict who has found in his Christian faith the strength to live a law-abiding life and raise a family. They will be brought together by a terrible accident that will change their lives. By the final frame, none of them will be the same as they will have learnt harsh truths about love, faith, courage, desire and guilt, and how chance can change our worlds irretrievably, forever.
