Rita Macedo (1925-1993) was a Mexican actress who performed during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She was nominated for an Ariel Award for her 1956 performance in "Ensayo de un crimen" and in 1991 for a TVyNovelas Prize for "Alcanzar una estrella". She won the Best Actress Ariel Award in 1972 for "Tú, yo, y nosotros". She was married to a pioneer of Mexican radio, television and film, Luis de Llano Palmer, by whom she had two children, Julissa an actress and musician and Luis de Llano Macedo, renowned telenovela producer. She also was instrumental in bringing many works of international writers to the Mexican stage.
María de la Concepción Macedo Guzmán was born in Mexico City, Mexico on 21 April, 1925 to Miguel Macedo and Julia Guzmán, a celebrated writer. Her childhood was difficult, having grown up away from her parents attending boarding schools. When they divorced, she became estranged from her father.
She initially used the stage name Conchita but later changed it to Rita. Macedo began her career at age 15 under film director Mauricio de la Serna, in a film starring Mapy Cortés and Domingo Soler, which was entitled "Las Cinco Noches de Adan" ("The Five Nights of Adam"). The film was very popular and eventually led to appearances in more than 60 movies. Though, Macedo acknowledged that poor reviews on other early films forced her to work hard at her craft and do live theater. She traveled to New York and Paris and bought scripts like “Réquiem para una monja” (Requiem for a Nun) and “Santuario” (Sanctuary) by Faulkner and brought them to Mexico with successful performances.
Rita (理多, born March 25) is a Japanese singer, lyricist, and voice actress from Osaka. The majority of her work is dealt with adult visual novels. She was also the singer for all the vocal music in Key's visual novel Little Busters!, as well as Liar-soft's "Steampunk" series.
Rita is a Danish comedy-drama TV series on TV 2. It premiered in February 2012 and has run for three seasons, in Denmark and internationally on Netflix.
The series centers around Rita Madsen (Mille Dinesen), a headstrong and unconventional teacher and single mother. It received generally favorable response from critics, including Henrik Palle in Politiken who commented that the series "works really well with some characters who actually look like people". The series uses locations in and near the former school campus at the National Innovative Centre (SPF) in Islev, Rødovre. The theme song is "Speak Out Now" by the Danish musician Oh Land.
A spin-off of the series called Hjørdis debuted in May 2015. It was announced prior to, but aired after, Rita's third season The spin-off takes place in the same school as 'Rita', focusing on her colleague Hjordis' attempt to organize a school play. Mille Dinesen did not return for that series
Mille Dinesen received an award at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in the category Best Female Lead. At the festival, the series received a total of six nominations, including the producers Karoline Leth and Jesper Morthorst and the screenwriter Christian Torpe for Best International Producer and Best European producer of a TV drama series.

Rita Jehan-Forouz was born in Tehran, Iran in 1962. Her family emigrated to Israel in 1970 and lived in a suburb outside of Tel Aviv. She began singing professionally as a band member while in the Israeli Army during the 1980s, and rose to stardom quickly.
