A small coldcore tornado outbreak occurred on this day over Eastern Nebraska, Southwest Iowa, and Northern Missouri. There were tornadoes in Illinois, but they were well out into the warm sector away from the coldcore environment. -

I observed two tornadoes on April 27th, 2016 in southwest Iowa. The Stanton tornado I observed at 1 mile away and the Creston tornado I observed from an unknown distance, but I'm thinking about a mile also maybe closer.
The first 2 videos are sped up 4x and the 3rd video is sped up 2x to show the rotation. These videos were taken southeast of Stanton, IA. The next two videos were taken northeast of Stanton, IA (2165 Q Ave, Stanton, IA 51573) looking east as the tornado ripped apart a shed, along with what looks like the roof of a house. You can't really hear it in the video, but as it was ripping up the shed you could hear it and it was loud. No injuries were reported. As the tornado continued, it became rain wrapped, but it can be seen on the left side of the rain in the 6th video if you up the contrast (Taken here 2730-2734 200 St, Stanton, IA 51573 looking south). The next few videos are of large hail that I observed north of Stanton, IA on O Ave.
I then saw a large shed that was blown over east of Corning, IA by (we think) straight line winds as we were heading to Creston, IA to intercept the next tornado warned cell.
The last few videos are of the Creston, IA tornado as it was just beginning about 3 miles south of Creston.
