Dame Jane Morris Goodall, DBE (/ˈɡʊdˌɔːl/; born Valerie Jane Morris-Goodall; 3 April 1934) is a British primatologist, ethologist, anthropologist, and UN Messenger of Peace. Considered to be the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, Goodall is best known for her 55-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania. She is the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and the Roots & Shoots program, and she has worked extensively on conservation and animal welfare issues. She has served on the board of the Nonhuman Rights Project since its founding in 1996.
Jane Goodall was born in 1934 in London, England, to Mortimer Herbert Morris-Goodall, a businessman, and Margaret Myfanwe Joseph, a novelist who wrote under the name Vanne Morris-Goodall. As a child, she was given a lifelike chimpanzee toy named Jubilee by her father; her fondness for the toy started her early love of animals. Today, the toy still sits on her dresser in London. As she writes in her book, Reason for Hope: “My mother’s friends were horrified by this toy, thinking it would frighten me and give me nightmares.” Goodall has a sister, Judith, who shares the same birthday, though the two were born four years apart.
Dr. James Robinson (born 1948, Maine) is an American filk music songwriter and performer (known as Dr. Jane Robinson prior to 2004 sex reassignment surgery) whose songs focus on scientific themes, particularly paleontology.
Robinson earned a doctorate in biology from UCLA in 1976, and went on to teach at the University of California, Berkeley.
His filk albums include Dr. Jane's Science Notes (later reissued as Wackademia), Fossil Fever, Bedlam Cats, Midlife Crisis and Dr. Jane's Remains.
Robinson has won two Pegasus Awards (2000, Best End of the World Song, for "Out of a Clear Blue Sky"; and 1992, Best Writer/Composer); and has been nominated an additional 14 times. Robinson was inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2000.
Robinson's life partner was the late Cynthia McQuillin, who reportedly said, upon meeting James for the first time, "At last I get to meet the man I fell in love with!" He lives in Oakland, California.
A book of songs by Robinson as "Dr. Jane", Dr. Jane's Songs, ("all of Dr. Jane's songs that Dr. Jim Robinson could find in his archives, plus a few that Lee Gold found from other sources") was compiled and published by Lee Gold in 2012.

I been in the Right Place
But it must have been the wrong time
I would have said the right thing
But must have used the wrong line
I'm on the right trip
but I must have used the wrong car
My head's in a bad place
I'm wondering what it's good for
I been in the right place
But it must have been the wrong time
My head was in a place
But I'm having such a good time
I've been running trying to get hung up in my mind
Got to give myself a little talking to this time.
Just need a little brain salad surgery
Got to cure this insecurity
I've been in the wrong place
But it must have been the right time
I been in the right place
But it must have been the wrong song
I've been in the right vein
But it seems to be the wrong arm
I've been in the right world
But it just seems wrong (wrong x4)
Slipping, Dodging, Sneaking, Creeping
Hiding down the street
See my life shaking with everyone who I meet
Re-fried confusion is making itself clear
Wonder which way I go to get on out of here
I been in the right place
But it must have been the wrong time
I'd have said the right thing
But I must have used the wrong line
I'd have took a right road
But I must have took a wrong turn
Would have made the right move
But I made it at the wrong time
I've been on the right road
But I must have used the wrong car
My head was in a good place
