Sora and company return to
Deep Jungle to participate in the minigames available here.
First up is the
Jungle Slider. Starting at the
Tunnel area, the party will go down the Jungle Slider repeatedly to complete all five
Stages.
Moving on to the next stage requires gathering all the fruits in prior Stages. To collect all the prizes, Sora must gather all the fruits in all the Stages. And all the prizes are quite useful.
First is
Stage 1,
Green Serpent. For gathering all 10 fruits, Sora gets an
Elixir (time index 0:52).
After completing the stage, the party lands at
Camp.
Back in the Tunnel area, they go through the Jungle Slider again (time index 2:02). The second stage goes through the
Splash Tunnel. This stage is a bit tricky. What's worse is that this version of the game forces the player to go through it several times.
Back in the Camp, the party finds more
White Mushrooms (time index 5:21). Sora successfully earns a
Cure Arts from one of them.
Thank you, little cutie!
Returning to the Tunnel, the party attempts Stage 2 of the Jungle Slider again, Splash Tunnel (time index 7:09). For collecting all 20 fruits, Sora earns an AP Up (time index 8:52).
The party lands at the Hippos'
Lagoon after this stage.
Back at the Tunnel, the party does Stage 3 of the Jungle Slider,
Jade Spiral (time index 11:10). For collecting all 30 fruits, Sora earns a
Dark Matter (time index 13:25). The party lands at the
Cliff after this stage.
Next, the party does Stage 4 of the Jungle Slider,
Panic Fall (time index 15:00). For collecting all 40 fruits, Sora earns a
Defense Up (time index 17:51). After this stage, the party lands in the
Waterfall cave.
On the way back to Camp, Sora reaches
Level 19 (time index 18:33).
Thanks,
Donald.
Finally, the party does Stage 5 of the Jungle Slider,
Shadow Cavern (time index 21:22). For getting all 50 fruits, Sora earns a
Power Up (time index 24:42). The party lands in the
Waterfall cavern after this stage.
As a side note, that
Black Ballade certainly is tricky
.
In the Vines area, Sora uses the Power Up, Defense Up, and AP Up he got (time index 27:20).
Then, he does the
Vine Jumping minigames in the Vines area. There is no prize for these games, just getting them into the
Journal.
The first Vine Jumping minigame is the
Jump Course (time index 28:09). This is just the basic jumping.
The second Vine Jumping minigame is the
Trap Course (time index 29:34). In this challenge, many of the vines are replaced by slender vines that will break quickly. It helps to jump off by pressing the circle button, especially when Sora is near the next ledge.
The third Vine Jumping minigame is the Acrobatic Course (time index 31:25). In this course, the time frame for the
Jump Next reaction command is shortened, and a few of the vines are replaced by slender vines.
The final Vine Jumping minigame is the Expert Course (time index 32:52). In this course, almost all the vines are replaced by slender vines, and the Jump Next command is shortened.
Honestly, I don't find it all that difficult, but if you need to, you can come back and literally fly through the challenge when Sora has the
Glide ability.
Back at the
Tent, Sora reviews the Journal entries for the Jungle Slider and Vine Jumping (time index 34:30).
Afterwards, the party will head off to the
Olympus Coliseum for the Phil Cup.
Thank you for watching!
