Razer has announced the Razer Turret, which is its mouse and keyboard peripheral ideal for living room use, has launched and is now available at retailers.
The Razer Turret features a gaming-grade chiclet keyboard with a highly-precise gaming mouse equipped with a 3500 DPI sensor. The integrated magnetic mouse pad helps ensure the mouse itself won’t slip off of the Turret, especially during intense gaming sessions. The peripheral also comes with dual wireless connectivity, allowing it to deliver lag-free gaming when connected to either a console via Bluetooth LE or to PC via its bundled 2.4GHz adaptor.
“The Razer Turret brings the immense world of PC gaming to a previously impossible frontier—the living room—where only consoles have traditionally roamed until now,” says Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan. “Finally, we have a perfect solution for gamers to enjoy the unrivaled precision of a mouse and keyboard combination from the comfort of the couch with the durability and reliability that PC gamers demand.”
As far as its performance, Razer promises the Turret is able to rival desktop-grade gaming hardware. Its keyboard supports up to four months of usage, while the mouse is estimated to deliver 40 hours of nonstop play.
The Razer Turret is now available for purchase for $159.99. If you're curious to learn more about the Turret, check out our hands-on of it during CES 2015.
