The Legend of Zelda is an American animated series based on the Japanese video game series The Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The plot follows the adventures of Link and Princess Zelda as they defend the kingdom of Hyrule from an evil wizard named Ganon. It is heavily based on the first game of the Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda, but includes some references to the second, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. The show was produced by DIC Entertainment and distributed by Viacom Enterprises in association with Nintendo of America, Inc. It comprises thirteen episodes which first aired in North America from September 8, 1989, to December 1, 1989.
The opening credits quickly glance over the show's premise: "This is the Triforce of Wisdom, Link. The evil wizard Ganon has the Triforce of Power. Whoever possesses both Triforces will rule this land forever! You must help me, Link!"
Every episode of The Legend of Zelda follows the adventures of the hero Link and Princess Zelda as they defend the kingdom of Hyrule from an evil wizard named Ganon. Most episodes consist of Ganon (or his minions) either attempting to capture the Triforce of Wisdom from Zelda, kidnap Zelda, or otherwise conquer Hyrule. In some episodes, Link and Zelda are assisted and accompanied by a fairy-princess, Spryte.
The Legend of Zelda (Japanese: ゼルダの伝説, Hepburn: Zeruda no Densetsu) is a high-fantasy action-adventure video game series created by Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. It is primarily developed and published by Nintendo, although some portable installments have been outsourced to Capcom, Vanpool, and Grezzo. The series' gameplay incorporates elements of action, adventure, and puzzle-solving games. The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's most prominent franchises.
The series centers on Link, the playable character and chief protagonist. Link is often given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule from Ganon, who is the principal antagonist of the series; however, other settings and antagonists have appeared in several titles. The games' plots commonly involve a relic known as the Triforce, a set of three omnipotent golden triangles. The protagonist in each game is usually not the same incarnation of Link, but a few exceptions exist.
A legend is a historical narrative, a symbolic representation of folk belief.

Koji Kondo (近藤 浩治, Kondō Kōji, born August 13, 1961) is a Japanese video game composer and sound director who has been employed at Nintendo since 1984. He is best known for his involvement in numerous titles in the Mario and The Legend of Zelda series of video games.
Kondo was born in Nagoya, Japan, on August 13, 1961. He began taking lessons in the electronic organ from the age of five. He improved his skills in the instrument in a cover band that played jazz and rock music. Kondo studied at the Art Planning Department of Osaka University of Arts, but was never classically trained or particularly dedicated to music. However, he gained some experience in composing and arranging pieces, using both the piano and a computer to assist him. During his senior year, Nintendo sent a recruitment message to his university stating that they were interested in hiring people dedicated to composition and sound programming. An LCD and arcade gamer, Kondo successfully applied for the job in 1984 without requiring any demo tapes.
A melody (from Greek μελῳδία, melōidía, "singing, chanting"), also tune, voice, or line, is a linear succession of musical tones that the listener perceives as a single entity. In its most literal sense, a melody is a combination of pitch and rhythm, while more figuratively, the term can include successions of other musical elements such as tonal color. It may be considered the foreground to the background accompaniment. A line or part need not be a foreground melody.
Melodies often consist of one or more musical phrases or motifs, and are usually repeated throughout a composition in various forms. Melodies may also be described by their melodic motion or the pitches or the intervals between pitches (predominantly conjunct or disjunct or with further restrictions), pitch range, tension and release, continuity and coherence, cadence, and shape.
Given the many and varied elements and styles of melody "many extant explanations [of melody] confine us to specific stylistic models, and they are too exclusive." Paul Narveson claimed in 1984 that more than three-quarters of melodic topics had not been explored thoroughly.

Yes, this is his first time seeing or hearing the music. I've had countless requests to give Tom music from the Zelda series, but there is no ragtime in it as far as I know (having never played the games). However, I was informed of a couple tunes that could translate into ragtime. This sort of bluegrass fiddle tune translates the best. The arrangement I was shown comes from a songbook published in Japan. The arrangements in there are way oversimplified. They don't even do the right bass notes, and the melodies are in single notes. You'll notice on the score here a few penned-in corrections that I had thrown in. But the simplified score meant that Tom was more free to fill it in his own way, much like the popular video of him riffing off the Birabuto Kingdom theme. The result ...
Temple of Time from The Legend of Zelda ~Ocarina of Time~ Written by Kondo Koji (近藤 浩治). This was a tough go. Lots I'd change, lots of emotions, but it's time to just let it go free to the wilds. For the gametabs.com Zelda tribute album. Wrote some new melodies and countermelodies to give it some bulk. Also, miss you David. :(

It's been a very long time since I made a video of me just fighting Papulatus and someone recently asked me to make a video of it, so I decided to make one just for fun! Note : I cannot afford potential in the slightest bit, so if you find my character to be on the weak side, I apologize. This is the best damage I can manage to pull off at the moment without any kind of potential gear. The effect you see on my character (the effect turning me into a shadow) is caused by a Monster Familiar effect.
