Infinity Blade

Infinity Blade is a fighting game with role-playing elements developed by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games and released through the Apple App Store on December 9, 2010. It is the first iOS video game to run on the Unreal Engine. In the game, the unnamed player character fights a series of one-on-one battles in a derelict castle to face the immortal God King. When in battle, players swipe the screen to attack and parry, and tap the screen to dodge and block enemy attacks. Upon victory or defeat, the player restarts the game as the character's descendant with the same items and experience level.

The game was developed by a team of twelve people, who took two months to make a playable demo and three more to finish the game. Infinity Blade was intended to demonstrate the new iOS version of the Unreal Engine, and to combine the swordplay of Karateka and Prince of Persia with the loneliness of Shadow of the Colossus. The game received four free expansions that added new equipment, endings, and game modes.

Infinity Blade III

Infinity Blade III is an action role-playing game for iOS, developed by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games. It is the third game in the Infinity Blade series of video games. It was released on the App Store on September 18, 2013. The main characters of the game are Siris and Isa, and it is intended to be the final game of the Infinity Blade trilogy.

Story

In the introduction, the Worker of Secrets narrates about his immortal creations, the Deathless, and the wrath they bestowed on humanity. He forges the "Infinity Blade", the only weapon that can permanently kill Deathless. He is betrayed by a Deathless, the ruthless Ausar the Vile, who takes the Infinity Blade for himself, and locks The Worker away in his Vault of Tears. The God King Raidriar uses the Blade to enslave humanity until he is defeated by Siris -- who is a reincarnation of Ausar the Vile, with no memory of his previous life. Siris, having used the Blade to kill Raidriar, unknowingly activates the Blade's potential to permanently kill the Deathless. Siris later frees The Worker, who then traps him and Raidriar in the Vault of Tears and continues his plan to destroy the world in order to build a new one.
