SFCG video produced for the 2011 Common Ground Awards, narrated by Kathleen Turner.

Pahunch is the first police-public TV reality game show. It pivots around manifold issues of security and has been planned for 13 episodes.
The game show will feature a number of contestants who will be mentored by Nepal Police officials specializing on issues such as homicide, burglary, domestic violence, road safety, human trafficking, sexual harassment in public transport. With this the producers, Search for Common Ground, hope that the show will go on to establish a sense of trust, confidence and awareness among the general public towards the country’s security apparatus.
To give the show a realistic touch, the producers have created clues, settings and a plausible background story for all the tasks—based on the real-life scenarios the security personnel go through.
Pahunch reality TV game show is funded by UKAID, supported by Nepal Police and produced by Search for Common Ground, along with production partner Mila Productions.

About Africa: Search for Common Ground
The Western media's portrayal of Africa is one of chaos, crisis and despair. Africans, if they make the news at all, are usually portrayed as helpless victims, megalomaniacal despots or the colorful curators of big game. Africa: Search for Common Ground offers an alternative view--namely, that of the people who actually experience the conflicts and are working to resolve them.
Powerful narratives shed new light on issues of concern to the entire continent: child soldiers returning home to village life, the clash between traditional healing and modern medicine, the impact of development on the local ecology. Each episode demonstrates that good storytelling does not have to glorify violence for its own sake, and that the search for agreement can be as dramatic as soap opera. At the same time, the series disproves the view that Africans are incapable of solving their own problems.
Africa: Search for Common Ground was produced in 1998 in collaboration with Ubuntu TV & Film Productions of Cape Town, South Africa. The series is available in English, French and Portuguese. The English version is hosted by noted South African writer and actor John Matshikiza; the French version is hosted by media personality Georges Collinet; and the Portuguese version is hosted by conflict resolution expert João Howana.

This is a 13-minute film produced by the International Institute for Environment and Development for a 'visioning workshop' in April 2015 that brought together artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) stakeholders to generate a shared vision for the sector.
The film comprises footage and interviews to tell the human story of gold mining in Geita District, northwest Tanzania.
More than 3,000 people work for the large-scale open pit Geita mine operated by AngloGold Ashanti.

Vision en RDC
La philosophie de SFCG est de « comprendre les différences, et agir sur les points communs ». Nous croyons que malgré nos différences, nous avons beaucoup en commun et pouvons travailler ensemble pour construire un meilleur monde. Par la suite, notre mission est de transformer la manière dont le monde gère les conflits ; loin des approches d'adversité, et vers des solutions collaboratives.
Avec cette mission en esprit, la stratégie pluriannuelle 2013 à 2016 de SFCG en RDC est la suivante : « Les conflits sont transformés ; les populations protégées ; et la paix en RDC consolidée à travers le dialogue, les médias indépendants, le leadership inclusif et les pratiques de bonne gouvernance ». Cette vision reste conforme à la mission internationale de SFCG et renferme aussi toute la quintessence des nouveaux thèmes choisis.
Description
Arrivé en RDC en 2001, Search for Common Ground RDC (ONG enregistrée localement et connu sous le nom du CENTRE LOKOLE) œuvre avec la société Congolaise pour transformer la manière dont les personnes et les institutions gèrent les conflits, et à développer une culture de médiation en République Démocratique du Congo. Depuis cette période (2001) -- Search For Common Ground RDC a travaillé en appui au Dialogue Inter-Congolais en agissant sur une diversité de thématiques dont :
Elections + démocratie participative
Réforme du Secteur de Sécurité (FARDC, PNC et démobilisé)
Rapatriement et réintégration des réfugiés et déplacés
Protection des civils et lutte contre SGBV
Renouer des relations entre communautés divisées (régionale, ethnique, etc)

Pahunch is the first police-public TV reality game show. It pivots around manifold issues of security and has been planned for 13 episodes.
The game show will feature a number of contestants who will be mentored by Nepal Police officials specializing on issues such as homicide, burglary, domestic violence, road safety, human trafficking, sexual harassment in public transport. With this the producers, Search for Common Ground, hope that the show will go on to establish a sense of trust, confidence and awareness among the general public towards the country’s security apparatus.
To give the show a realistic touch, the producers have created clues, settings and a plausible background story for all the tasks—based on the real-life scenarios the security personnel go through.
Pahunch reality TV game show is funded by UKAID, supported by Nepal Police and produced by Search for Common Ground, along with production partner Mila Productions.

The Western media's portrayal of Africa is one of chaos, crisis and despair. Africans, if they make the news at all, are usually portrayed as helpless victims, megalomaniacal despots or the colorful curators of big game. Africa: Search for Common Ground offers an alternative view--namely, that of the people who actually experience the conflicts and are working to resolve them.
Powerful narratives shed new light on issues of concern to the entire continent: child soldiers returning home to village life, the clash between traditional healing and modern medicine, the impact of development on the local ecology. Each episode demonstrates that good storytelling does not have to glorify violence for its own sake, and that the search for agreement can be as dramatic as soap opera. At the same time, the series disproves the view that Africans are incapable of solving their own problems.
Africa: Search for Common Ground was produced in 1998 in collaboration with Ubuntu TV & Film Productions of Cape Town, South Africa. The series is available in English, French and Portuguese. Nous croyons que malgré nos différences, nous avons beaucoup en commun et pouvons travailler ensemble pour construire un meilleur monde. Par la suite, notre mission est de transformer la manière dont le monde gère les conflits ; loin des approches d'adversité, et vers des solutions collaboratives.
Avec cette mission en esprit, la stratégie pluriannuelle 2013 à 2016 de SFCG en RDC est la suivante : « Les conflits sont transformés ; les populations protégées ; et la paix en RDC consolidée à travers le dialogue, les médias indépendants, le leadership inclusif et les pratiques de bonne gouvernance ». Cette vision reste conforme à la mission internationale de SFCG et renferme aussi toute la quintessence des nouveaux thèmes choisis.

Arrivé en RDC en 2001, Search for Common Ground RDC (ONG enregistrée localement et connu sous le nom du CENTRE LOKOLE) œuvre avec la société Congolaise pour transformer la manière dont les personnes et les institutions gèrent les conflits, et à développer une culture de médiation en République Démocratique du Congo.
