The Drug Enforcement Agency is under heavy fire after it was revealed in a Department of Justice Inspector General report that DEA agents held numerous “sex parties” with Colombian prostitutes who were apparently hired by drug cartels.
Committee chairman, Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), grilled DEA administrator Michele Leonhart about her claims that she was unable to fire any of the agents involved in the misconduct due to the bureaucracy of the agency.
“It’s embarrassing that we have to talk about this,” Chaffetz said. “It’s an embarrassment that you don’t fire that person. It’s an embarrassment that you don’t revoke his security clearance.”

Jason E. Chaffetz (pronounced /ˈtʃeɪfɨts/; born March 26, 1967) is the U.S. Representative for Utah's 3rd congressional district, serving since 2009. He is a member of the Republican Party. The district is based in Provo and includes large portions of central and west-central Utah.
Chaffetz's father was Jewish and his mother was a Christian Scientist. Chaffetz converted to Mormonism in his college years. He attended Brigham Young University (BYU) on an athletic scholarship. He was the starting placekicker on the BYU football team in 1988 and 1989, and still holds the BYU individual records for most extra points attempted in a game (10), most extra points made in a game (10), and most consecutive extra points made in a game (10).
Chaffetz grew up a Democrat. His father had previously been married to Michael Dukakis' wife, Kitty, and his half-brother is former actor John Dukakis. While a student at BYU, he was a Utah co-chairman for Michael Dukakis's 1988 campaign for U.S. President.
After college, Chaffetz joined the local business community. His work included being a spokesman for Nu Skin International.

The Drug Enforcement Agency is under heavy fire after it was revealed in a Department of Justice Inspector General report that DEA agents held numerous “sex parties” with Colombian prostitutes who were apparently hired by drug cartels.
Committee chairman, Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), grilled DEA administrator Michele Leonhart about her claims that she was unable to fire any of the agents involved in the misconduct due to the bureaucracy of the agency.
“It’s embarrassing that we have to talk about this,” Chaffetz said. “It’s an embarrassment that you don’t fire that person. It’s an embarrassment that you don’t revoke his security clearance.”

Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, a self-proclaimed burger aficionado, for a blind taste test,” reporters Emily Heil and Elizabeth Brotherton wrote in the original story. “Chaffetz has serious beefy bona fides: He’s made a study of the town’s best burgers, proclaiming his favorite to be from Five Guys, and often tweets about his burger runs.”
Chaffetz tossed his hat into the ring for speaker over the weekend, but only time will tell how his Guy Fieri-like testing skills could impact his speakership prospects.

Though he would be a long-shot, Chaffetz could mount a credible threat to McCarthy, more so than the other declared contender for the speaker's post, Florida Representative Daniel Webster.

''Just a cost-cutting, saving measure for the Chaffetz household--The whole idea I could save 1500 dollars a month was very appealing...but you work late into the night, get up at 5:30 the last thing I wanted to do was waste time commuting.

Chaffetz says he got the idea of sleeping in his office when he heard other lawmakers do it--but no one really knows how many members of congress are sleeping behind or near their desks...
