A hat-trick or hat trick in sports is the achievement of a positive feat three times in a game, or another achievement based on the number three in some sports.
The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe HH Stephenson's taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1868. The term was eventually adopted by many other sports including hockey, association football, water polo and team handball.
A hat-trick occurs in association football when a player scores three goals (not necessarily consecutive) in a single game, whereas scoring two goals constitutes a brace. In common with other official record-keeping rules, goals in a penalty shootout are excluded from the tally. The extra time in a knockout cup match may also be calculated towards a player's potential hat-trick. The fastest recorded time to score a hat-trick is 70 seconds, a record set by Alex Torr in a Sunday league game in 2013. The previous Guinness world record of 90 seconds was held by Tommy Ross playing for Ross County against Nairn County on 28 November 1964.
Hat Trick Productions is a British independent production company that produces television programmes, mainly specialising in comedy.
Hat Trick Productions was founded in 1986 by Rory McGrath, Jimmy Mulville and Denise O'Donohue. Its first commission was Chelmsford 123, a situation comedy for Channel 4. Two years later, Geoffrey Perkins became company director, and helped to produce shows such as Father Ted, Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Have I Got News for You.
Perkins left the organisation in 1995, to become head of comedy for BBC Television.
Sweet Crude is a documentary film by Sandy Cioffi about Nigeria's oil-rich Niger Delta. The film premiered in April 2009 at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival and has since screened at 30 film festivals around the world and has won numerous awards.
On April 12, 2008, members of the Sweet Crude filmmaking crew were detained by the Nigerian military Joint Task Force while traveling by boat in the Niger Delta. The crew was taken into custody and subsequently handed over to the Nigerian State Security Services. They were held for seven days without being charged and without access to legal counsel. They were released Friday, April 18.
From the Sweet Crude website:
Sweet Crude has been nominated at Oaxaca Film Fest.
Channel 4 is a British public-service television broadcaster that began transmission on 2 November 1982. Although largely commercially self-funded, it is ultimately publicly owned; originally a subsidiary of the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA), the station is now owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation, a public body established in 1990, coming into operation in 1993. With the conversion of the Wenvoe transmitter group in Wales to digital on 31 March 2010, Channel 4 became a UK-wide TV channel for the first time.
The channel was established to provide a fourth television service to the United Kingdom in addition to the television licence-funded BBC's two services and the single commercial broadcasting network, ITV.
Before Channel 4 and S4C, Britain had three terrestrial television services: BBC1, BBC2, and ITV. The Broadcasting Act 1980 began the process of adding a fourth, and Channel 4, along with its Welsh counterpart, was formally created by an Act of Parliament in 1982. After some months of test broadcasts, it began scheduled transmissions on 2 November 1982.

No, there is no typo in the title, and no error with the thumbnail. From a 2006 episode of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?". Technically, this combo is from 2002, however this show surprisingly never used the 2003 or 2005 WBTV logos during the original run. What this means is that instead of ending in 2003, the 2001 logo actually stopped being used in 2007 (when the show went on hiatus). Seriously, the 2001 WBTV logo is the WB logo that refuses to die.

You, can I make it known?
I'd like to take you home
You been away so long
I'd like to see you
When I saw you at the local hop
I tried to take you but you made me stop
Then I saw that you were dancing with a rent-a-cop
Whoa
The minute you pulled me through
You thought that then you knew
If not today, I'd find a way
To get to you
Just a little of nothin'
That's all you had the time to give
Just a little of nothin'
Ain't gonna make it worthwhile for me
If you'd only have listened
You'd have heard every word I said
Just a little of nothin'
Ain't gonna make it worthwhile for me
Just a little of nothin'
(Just a little of nothin')
Just a little of nothin'
(Just a little of nothin')
Just a little of nothin'
(Just a little of nothin')
Just a little of nothin'
(Just a little of nothin')
Newton-under-Rose berry topping
And it's cold and it's wet
And you feel like you're part of all time
Living in the gap between the echoes
Feeling it hot and feeling it cold
As long as there are fish in the sea
Have a cup of tea
Oh, as long as there are fish in the sea
Have a cup of tea
'Cause you are running from the ring of the golden bell
Like a bat out of hell
You are running from the ring of the golden bell
Like a bat out of hell
You are running from the ring of the golden bell
Like a bat out of hell
You are running from the ring of the golden bell
Like a bat out of hell
There's a lady across the hall
She's telling me, it's all right, all right
I'm tryin' to give her my all
She's sayin', "I'm uptight"
Hell of a way to spend an afternoon
Saw a movie tonight
Got frightened and broke down, broke down
Got a call in the night, my old lady just hit town
Take her away, she's tryin' to turn me round
I'm nowhere to be found
I can't unread the pages I've already read
And I can't feed these ages left in my head
