Take That are an English pop group from Manchester, formed in 1990. The group currently consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen. The original line-up also featured Jason Orange and Robbie Williams. Barlow acts as the group's lead singer and primary songwriter, with Owen and Williams initially providing backing vocals and Donald and Orange serving primarily as dancers.
The group have had 28 top 40 singles and 17 top 5 singles in the United Kingdom, 12 of which have reached number 1, as well as having seven number 1 albums. Internationally the band have had 56 number 1 singles and 37 number 1 albums. They have received eight Brit Awards—winning awards for Best British Group and Best British Live Act.
Robbie Williams left the band in 1995 while the four remaining members completed their world tour and released a final single before splitting up in 1996. After filming a 2005 documentary about the group and releasing a new greatest hits album, a four-piece Take That without Williams officially announced a 2006 reunion tour around the UK, entitled The Ultimate Tour. On 9 May 2006, it was announced that the group were set to record new material together once again; their fourth studio album, Beautiful World, was released in 2006 and was followed up with The Circus, in 2008. The group achieved new success as a four-piece, scoring a string of chart hits across the UK and Europe while taking the number of records sold to 45 million worldwide.
"Take That" is a 2009 single from British grime artist Wiley & Dutch remixer Chew Fu. It was released on 28 December 2009.
Following a release in late December 2009, "Take That" first entered the UK Singles Chart on 3 January 2010, where it charted at #22. The following week, on 10 January 2010, "Take That" rose by 2 places, to reach its peak of #20. As of 4 January 2011 the single has sold 70,000 units in the UK.
"Take That" is the debut single by American R&B singer, Torrey Carter. It features guest vocals by Carter's former mentor Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott and was released as the lead single from Carter's unreleased debut album, The Life I Live (2000).
Shortly after performing for Missy Elliott in 1998 in New York's Greenwich Village, Torrey Carter landed a contract deal with Elliott's label The Goldmind and became the first male artist to sign to the label. Carter began work on his debut The Life I Live in 1999 and was able to release "Take That" as the debut's lead single the following year. While the song became a minor hit on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts, Elektra Records disapproved of its urban charting performance and had "hoped" for more stronger pop-oriented success on the Billboard Hot 100.
Displeased, Elektra shelved Carter's debut album and dropped him from their roster. In a late 2001 interview with Billboard, Missy Elliott stated that she was disappointed in Elektra for shelving Carter. Elliott noted that sometimes there would be disputes between her and Elektra due to the complications surrounding promotion for her brand of artists under her label The Goldmind Inc. Elliott added that it was very conflicting because she had her artists and Elektra had theirs; thus "Elektra [of course]" had to put their artists "forth first."

What a Wonderful Time is the second Holiday album by Grammy Award winning, and Platinum-selling superstar Yolanda Adams. This heart-warming project features five eclectically arranged holiday standards, and five original pieces. Highlights include her rapturous take on “My Favorite Things” produced by Michael J. Powell, “With God,” a song that Yolanda co-wrote with producer Gregory Curtis, and the acoustic guitar driven single “Hold On” (produced by Stan Jones) which affirms the message of strength, hope, and determination.
"Hold On" is a song written and recorded by American singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. It was co-written and produced by Ryan Tedder, who had previously collaborated with Caillat on her 2011 single "Brighter Than the Sun". The song was released to digital retailers through Republic Records on November 19, 2013 as the original lead single from Gypsy Heart but was later scrapped from the domestic release of the album for uncertain reasons. It is, however, included on select international versions of the album. Upon its release, "Hold On" was generally well received by critics, who complimented the new musical direction.
Caillat worked with "Brighter Than the Sun" collaborator Ryan Tedder on the song, and made a conscious effort to explore new musical territory. "[The song] lets people know that there aren't any boundaries," Caillat said of "Hold On". "It's always good to grow as an artist." In an interview with Billboard, Tedder called the song "a game changer" for Caillat, noting "it's gonna shock people." Tedder suggested the song "might be one of the biggest records [he's] done in years," while Republic Records co-founder Monte Lipman enthused to Billboard that "Hold On" was possibly "the best record of [Caillat's] career and something [they're] excited about."

Up and down
I love a merry-go-round
You went your way, I went my way
Said you'll see me down life's highway
Not black or white
As chrystal clear as a cloudy night
Traveling in the name of lonely
I was only home when you held me
Yeah it's a hell, a hell of a time
To emerge from the shadows
Yeah it's a hell, a hell of a time
To come knocking at my door
And it's here,
Where I've come home to.
Right here
Everything I hold on to is here
All the things I keep so dear.
Flying home tonight
As far away as a satelite
Keeping your heart in my pocket
Hope to God that I don't drop it
Yeah it's a hell, a hell of a time
To emerge from the shadows
Yeah it's a hell, a hell of a time
To come bursting through my door
And it's here,
where I've come home to
Right here
Everything I hold on to is here
All the things I keep so dear
I hear
Oh what a time to come back
Oh what a time to come home
Oh what a time to come back
Oh what a time
Up and down,
I love a merry-go-round
You went your way, I went my way
Said you'll see my down life's highway
yeah it's a hell, a hell of a time
To emerge from the shadows
yeah it's a hell, a hell of a time
To come knocking at my door
And it's here,
Where I've come home to
Right here
Everything I hold on to
Is here
All the things I keep so dear I hear
Everybody's talking now
Everybody's walking 'round
