A 666 flight to HEL!! - Finnair Flight Review - Copenhagen to Helsinki - Airbus A319 - OH-LVI

Finnair Flight AY666 to Helsinki (HEL) from Copenhagen Denmark, hence the title (HeHe)! This is a short Finnair flight review of Finnair flight AY666 from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) to Helsinki Airport, Helsinki Vantaa (HEL). This is onboard (cabin view video footage of the flight seen from the perspective of a passenger flying in Finnair´s Economy Class and includes the takeoff from Copenhagen Airport and also the landing at a very wet and grey Helsinki Vantaa Airport! This onboard cabin view flight footage begins in Copenhagen in the Gate A Area of the airport. Our Finnair flight AY666 an Airbus A319 (Airbus A319-112 ) departs from Gate A17. We view the Gate lounge area until the screen shows that the flight is ready for boarding. We follow the path of a passenger on the "Boarding Bridge" onto the waiting Finnair Airbus A319 where we are greeted by the always very professional, friendly and polite Finnair Cabin Crew. The viewer then gets a view of the cabin while passengers are still boarding and also a view out the window. This Airbus A319 has a 3-3 seating and we have pre-booked a window seat and middle seat in advance so as to ensure a window seat behind the wing for this flight. Pre-booking of seats on Finnair flights costs money and you have to pay on all flights Short Haul, Medium Haul or Long Haul. It is free if you wait until check in at the airport or a certain amount of hours before the flight. Seats are often automatically allocated to passengers up to 24 hours before the flight. If you are a couple or group of travelers wishing to sit together it is worthwhile paying the extra amount to get you chosen seats. I have been on many flights where couples and groups have unwillingly been split up because they had not prebooked/prepayed their seats. The footage continues with the pushback of the aircraft, we then taxi out towards runway 22R (which is the location, close to Flyvergrillen, where many of our spotting videos are filmed). We then see the takeoff and are given a cloud surf passing over various islands including Hven which lies between Denmark and Sweden. We then have a few more onboard cabin views until it is time for drinks. Soft drink beverages and water are free on Finnair short haul flights and are not accompanied by any inflight snacks (not even peanuts). Beer, wine, spirits and light snacks can be purchased onboard. Prices of alcoholic beverages and snacks available on Finnairs Short Haul flight are filmed onboard from the Menu. After the footage of drinks being served by our cabin crew the footage again shows us cloud surfing and the aircraft starting its landing approach. Our landing approach is filmed with nice views of the below landscape as we break through the clouds. Helsinki Airport welcomes us with very grey, overcast and rainy conditions. We are given a view of the landing of the aircraft at Helsinki Airport (HEL) and then watch out the window as we make our way towards Gate 27. We then get a view of the passengers in the cabin as disembarkation begins. We follow the disembarkation bridge from the aircraft into Helskini Vantaa airport and then the footage ends with a view of the beautiful Finnair Airbus A319 with registration OH-LVI which has just flown us from Copenhagen to Helsinki in approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes. All in all it was a pleasant and very quick short haul Finnair flight AY666. This Airbus A319 with registration OH-LVI was delivered to Finnair in March 2003. Prior to this the aircraft was operated by Charterhouse Leasing with registration F-WQQZ (from July 2002) and Sabena with registration OO-SSL (from November 2000). This Finnair Airbus A319-112 had it´s first flight in October 2000. This aviation footage is filmed at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in Denmark and at Helsinki Vantaa Airport (HEL) in Finland.
